man, i reaaaally want this exhaust. unfortunately i only own a bay at the moment, and sadly the wasp wont fit neither bay nor split :( But my buddy and i are talking about fabbing a custom exhaust. it will pretty much be a wasp with a bit smaller diameter (mine is only a 1776 so the real deal would be a bit too big), and obviously modified to fit a bus. Hope to see more vids of your wasp (hopefully better quality) Cheers!
To bad it won't fit your ride. But thx for the input ! In summer, I'll change to a wasp stage II, the stage I is still to narrow ! I'll post more vids then. cheers mate !
@@mahler6x might be interested. I need it for measurements, and have a buddy who possibly wants it when im done with it. I see youre in belgium - im in denmark so its not terribly far
@@MrJepperhk No, its not that far. The exhaust comes automatically with stinger also, its al bought in june 2019. Had three 1/4" runs and approx 500km driven with it. I'll be intouch with you ! Thanks !
Have a Wasp Stage 1 as well and need to go to the TÜV Test center for sound meassurment. Do you guys have some reference values in db levels that you can share? Hope iz won't be too loud for the Swiss authorities!
@@mahler6x I have a kit car with expensive custom made exhaust (previous owner) Its loud drive you mad on longer trips, after reverting back to normal quiet pack (very cheap) the car is a lot more usable. I feel that the car has less power cf the original exhaust. But one is not afraid to step in the gas more because its more quiet, so in the end u are going as fast as the custom exhaust, with less attention on the road. So something to think about!
@@patriciayuen8541 I don't agree, I have bought this exhaust for 2 reasons : 1) its more quiet than previous systems I tried, and 2) this system gives me best output performance than previous systems. Let's say the 2" Berg system is almost identical qua performance but a bit louder in the high rev zone. But no hard feelings, do whatever you want to do, at the end its all about the fun to drive the old VW bug. Cheers!
Honestly it sounds great!
very nice

Hi, I cannot answer your question about db of the WASP system. I don't know how loud it is in db. Sorry mate.
What kind of wrap is that on your header ?
Thermolec.
Does not sound good!
You are right, it does not sound good in the vid, but in real life it does for sure. Its not only a matter of sound, its about performance also.
