    If I’m understanding the Fontaine wings correctly, Scylla can’t be the hydro sovereign; Egeria was created to be the heart of the primordial sea, which was the “role” of the hydro sovereign, and Neuvillette wasn’t “reborn” until after she died, when there was no heart. Don’t know why they called Scylla a dragon king but I’m p sure he wasn’t sovereign. Thanks for covering Remuria lore tho! It has always confused me lmao

      The archons were made to steal the roles of the sovereign dragons though

      Furina just said Neuvillette is atleast a thousand years old in the Lantern Rite Event.

      @@tuanvietnguyen3871 Scylla was 2000 years ago because Egeria was crowned the first Hydro Archon after Remus and Scylla was swallowed by the Abyss presumably dead

    While I was digging through item descriptions and books, I kept thinking that "Remuria" sounds awfully familiar. Then I remembered the game I played with my dad a few years ago, Child of Light, in which the world the main character gets trapped in is called "Lemuria." Hmm.
    Actually, it's not just that, a substantial amount of Fontaine has been nostalgic for me because of how similar it is to Child of Light.
    This isn't a theory or anything, but I wonder if I'm the only one who's experienced this burst of nostalgia from Fontaine, its music, and its lore.

    Scylla can't be a dragon sovereign because that time Egeria who was made to replace the dragon heart which shade of life destroyed and then created Egeria with her power which is why she was called "the nobility of a dragon and divinity fo a god but with no purpose also Neuvilette is old enough to not be considered scylla which makes scylla one of the hydro sovereign's underling just like Apep have a guardian dragon inside her

    • @SiliconOneFour
      @SiliconOneFour  Před 6 měsíci

      Scylla can still be a Sovereign. Egeria was created as a replacement yes, but she wasn't a true sovereign, she just possessed a part of their power.

    • @osmial
      @osmial Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@SiliconOneFour the problem is egeria wasn't the sovereign but the heart which stopped hydro dragon to be reborn for a long time but it is very weird scylla was dubbed dragon king just like azdaha is dubbed vishap king doesn't mean they're dragon sovereign they're of same class but different titles a sovereign and a king in different in genshin titles for some reasons
      I would also like to add that scylla fate is unknown to us as he was said to have been sealed beneath the biggest tower in remuria and we can guess that remirian ruins can be found in mount esues or near the petrichor island which should be our future expansions

    Egeria didn't ever rule before Remuria...

    • @SiliconOneFour
      @SiliconOneFour  Před 7 měsíci +4

      Yes she did. Egeria was created by the Shade of Life as a new heart for the Primordial Sea after the Hydro Sovereign was defeated. Egeria would go on to create the Oceanids, then use the Primordial Seawater to turn them into humans. That was the original sin that caused her to be imprisoned. Then the stories with the rising and falling civilizations happened, and after Remuria, she was freed to rule Fontaine again.

    • @Anastasia_Clouds
      @Anastasia_Clouds Před 7 měsíci

      @@SiliconOneFour You're right about her existing before, but never did she rule humans in those times. Also, we don't even know if the oceanid-human transformation happened before or after Remuria.

    • @SiliconOneFour
      @SiliconOneFour  Před 7 měsíci +2

      @@Anastasia_Clouds It was before, as there would've been no reason for her to be imprisoned during Remus' reign. Also, the people of Remuria could be dissolved by the Primordial Sea, so they had to have been Oceanids transformed into humans.

    • @Anastasia_Clouds
      @Anastasia_Clouds Před 6 měsíci

      @@SiliconOneFour Sorry to revive the discussion but I've reread the Fontaine glider lore and it specifically said that Egeria did not have divine duty when she was created, but has been given a gnosis and a divine duty after Remuria fell, which then has made her an archon. Before that her only charges are the oceanids, sent to learn and connect with all the life.
