I honestly have not forgiven the citizens of Haddonfield for their behavior in this film. They're the villains here, not Corey or Michael. They. And what's worse is that they haven't learned from their mistakes. Because they did not defeat the evil in their hearts, they only satisfied it. And the director is an idiot if he really thought he was conveying the message that the citizens of Haddonfield are perfect and that if they make mistakes it's only Michael's fault, because that's not the case.
