It is. 6:48, 7:16, 7:28. I think there is not a lot of dust because they're close enough with the ground only a second

they already do and the particles system is being updated for exactly that , its going to have a windshield dust getting stuck to it from crafts and dust storms too
planets need some massive canyons to fly through
I would LOVE, I crave, deeper and longer runs in the canyons of Daymar. From above it's just some random patches of terrain but I have the feeling some planetray update will come in the future for this little one ;)
You can still dive straight from OM 3 (towards the stash house) and find bigger patches of canyons ;)

@@xavierrodriguez2463 most of the shown places are moons. All planets in-game that aren't gas giants or a city have different biomes

Well, today we'd have finished game with their developed console, made special for this game (low cost, standard console with flying joystick with VR headset and Premium 4D cabin simulator for those with deeper pocket). And RSI would be the most funded game developer of all time.
Also, this action would drop AMD and NVIDIA prices deep below, what would lead to better competence and sooner development of quantum computing.

This is the kind of video you'd have seen in the mid-2000's for games like Tribes and such. Players who love the game and are insanely good at it making cool videos with killer music. It brings me back to a simpler time. And has me looking forward to the future.

That's just decoupled mode. Atmospheric flight doesn't function, so decoupling will just make you go in a straight line, regardless of which direction your ship is facing. Just gotta keep an eye on the little marker that shows which direction you're going (making sure it's above the terrain you're flying over), then slap one stick to the side and let your ship spin around
Killer Frenchmen tearing up the planets and stations: Check.
Joel's phat bass and progressions giving the tricks even more punch: Check.
Terada once again killing every other Star Citizen video out there: Check.
That right there is a triple threat.

Very possible, but only in ships that can actually perform well in atmosphere, and only if you're _good_ at piloting them. This is way harder to do in game than it already looks. People who can move a ship like this are going to be in high demand when the full game launches.

My favourite SC video ive seen yet, very well made and the music is a perfect fit.
Still the best of these types of videos. The soundtrack, the different camera angles, the actual sounds of the ships/engines (so many videos like these, but nobody using ship sounds...). I keep coming back to this for inspiration on Star Citizen. Just need to find some new friends that actually want to learn the game.... lol

Man I wish I had those skills. Such craftsmanship. But I know I would die, wake up, call my ship, go back to fly more, die again... I tell you this got me super nervous: 4:10-4:25, especially that last move.
Main idea is to use the velocity direction indicator and use decoupled and... practice. That's the bit I still need to do :P

Personally I think ships should suffer from an even higher degree of gravitational pull and drag by atmospheric gasses. In fact, lots of ships should not be able to do any flight within the gravity well of lage bodies, like planets and large moons. I mean, why do some freighters have rotating main thrusters if they can pretty much hang within the atmosphere without any issues at all.
