After over 1 year of converting our school bus into our full time home all by ourselves whilst having a baby on the way to now having a 5 month old, with an unfinished bus & deadlines galore…we finally reached our burn out. We realized that we were in overdrive and needed to slow things down. So with that said, our Maiden Voyage has been postponed by a couple weeks. Follow along to find out more on our over-exhaustion.

Is very good set yourself goals. Like that you will always have something that you're striving for. On the other hand it is also even better to be self-aware. It's not that you can't do it by that date it is that you're prioritizing your mental health over leaving on that date. It dates that can always be changed. It takes a strong person to admit that sometimes you have to take a step back so then you're able to truly enjoy things.
Zen days rock! Smart move to slow your roll and release the pressure a little.
Juby though...the part where she bounces with Azalea on her back 🤣🤣🤣. You're are so silly. Something I would have done. 🤣🤣🤣. I live in Africa, South Africa to be more precise and we carry our babies on our backs while we clean and cook. It keeps them very calm and it's also a bonding experience

I moved into my Bus before it was finished...I think it even harder to complete things while you have all your stuff in there.
I see everyone get Bus Burnout at one point or another in all the channels that I follow...but I think it is all magnified
by movin amist the projects.There were a great many times I sat down and cried during construction it was way to
tooooo freeking hot, no shade, no AC and extremely hot days 104 outside at times /translatiing to im guessing 120 inside???
At least thats what it felt like??? I would often only be able to work for just four hours before
my face was red a beet and I felt like I would pass out.
Keep in mind I am in my late 50's...58 to be exact... and 3/4 the time I worked alone.
But I could leave the Bus go home take a nice ong hot shower sleep in a level bed, in a climate controlled room...
Cut to NOW I sit down and cry take a quick shower because my water heater in teeny ,
while iin a freezing Bus
soon to be a BUS OVEN
and go to sleep in a crooked bed...

I know you watch other bus folk but I thought I'd drop you the name of another couple I watch just in case you haven't heard of them because I think they offer good advice about bus life on the road. They go by "Tio Aventura" here on you-tube. Super sweet couple who pull a jeep with them everywhere so they have their own wisdom about parking spots and the conversion and such. The insurance thing is actually a problem with RV's as well. We live full time in our RV, but because we are not actually "allowed" to live in it full time, we could only insure it against damage. (Through State Farm) So our RV is insured structurally, but none of our belongings inside. Insurance is funny. We have been advised to seek further insurance through "Good Sam", as they specialize in RV's and I am wondering if your bus could fall under that umbrella??? After all, it is a mobile structure, on wheels, being used as a home. Have you checked into that, by chance? Best of luck to you guys. Take it slow and easy. Love your channel! ❤
One thing at a time...make a list....and walk it down until every thing is done. Thinking about it will overwhelm you so just go down the list until it is done...
Hey. loves I don't have a Bus yet but I am consuming as much information as possible so that I will be more prepared... I ran across a couple from S.C. they were talking about pics at the DMV ..... they were saying something about showing the seats gone with something in it's place, the bathroom area and living space so it's clearly not being used as a "bus" ... 🤷

HEY JUSTIN/JUBY! Glad to see you're back home safely. Could I make a suggestion? When u do videos it's kind of like a little story for us watching. One week you're in London, then next week you're back home and there's no talk about anything. It's kind of abrupt and I wondered, what happened to the trip? Only 1 video? Maybe u could just give a little transition about what happened or a couple of sentences that kind of tie it all together, if u understand what I'm saying. And the trip u planned... It's always good to have goals. I do daily "To Do Lists". Even if I don't get it all done, it gives me a feeling of accomplishment every time I scratch something off the list. Then I just take what didn't get done that day and add it into the week on another day. I do it a week at a time. Keeps you organized and accountable to yourself. I understand getting overwhelmed. It's no fun if u feel under pressure and there's no joy in the process. Good 4 u that u realized it was taking away from the joy of the trip and rearranged. It's just being realistic and human. The point is you have a goal and u will eventually get there! Azalea is getting sooo big. Her eyes are so big and beautifully blue! Really noticed it in the last video! She's Juby's mini-me for sure! Got my insurance foremost a state farm subsidiary no pics just mileage no restrictions on living in it and a good rate if you figure it will take 4 hours to do something it will take at least 6 and probably 8 hours and no bus is ever finished till you don't have it anymore

Hey, Juby, I have a serious question for you, I am a really bad diabetic and my right foot has been swelling up on me is there anything I can take that will help me? My doctor has me on all this wonderful medication, She just tells me to prop up my feet! my left foot swells some but nothing like my right foot! I am taking like 21 pills per morning and 10 at night. you name it I have everything wrong with me! Heart problems, high blood pressure, High Cholesterol. Diabetic, Thyroid problems, Arthritis, Back problems, I think that's it. I think! anyway, I need help! oh and I'm really fluffy! How could I forget I have COPD, Acid Reflux, And let's don't forget IBSD, oh and I have lots of Hernias from scar tissue from where I had so many surgeries. LOL And I want a Skoolie and travel! crazy I know!
What do you eat in a day? I was reading comments about insurance and this comment reminds me of an old friend. Her diet was not so good. Try to stay whole foods

I went w my son today to get his drivers license I thought we would be back soon than later, I couldn't even walk, I think it was like 7ish when we got home. I felt like I had a fever, I have never felt that bad! I really wanna get some kinda weight loss surgery! I am going to get a pain shot in my back I hope it helps! I don't think I have any business building a Schooli but That's all I'm going to have to live in! Thanks, Ladies, : )
Pamela Chadwell theres CBD rubs that you can use as well. When I had my concussion the pain medication was too much for me (idk if that makes sense), I didn’t like the feeling they gave me. Ended up trying a CBD rub and it helped so much !!!
