I think the banana flavored Runts still have the old banana flavor(Gros Michel) too. It's also not extinct and you can still find it in Central America, it's just not exported anymore because it's still too susceptible to the fungus for large scale cultivation.

Omg I love candy corn 😅 I don’t get why people think it tastes so bad. It’s sweet but not too sweet. It has like a honey vanilla caramel flavor… idk it’s a very unique flavor that I love. I do agree that the pumpkin ones are not as good.
I think its a little too sweet but overall a low-mid treat for me. I can eat maybe like half a handful before i get sick of it but its a nice unique sweetness. The laffy taffy placement was criminal, not only because laffy taffy is goated but because of how they disrespected banana, which is the best flavor, equalled maybe only by strawberry.

Tootsie Rolls were used during WW2 , i believe, as a means to repair vehicles and food. Soldiers would chew the tootsie rolls giving it a guey/sticky consistency. They would then use the chewed tootsie rolls by applying it to certain areas that needed reinforcements or some sort of repair. Idk heard this somewhere at somepoint
Apparently “Tootsie Roll” was codename for 60mm artillery rounds.
They accidentally shipped a crate of actual Tootsie Rolls to the Korean War front. Got used as putty and spackle. Think that backs up the rating a bit. 😂

Hershey's were made with the first industrial process for milk chocolate and the milk ends up fermenting a little and American consumers got used to that flavor where to me chocolate without it just tastes a bit hollow
