I used to have imaginary friend: the toad. Years went by, I still remember the toad
I know people are saying that this is ripping off Fosters Home for Imaginary. But it’s an original concept for a movie. Aka AN ORIGINAL MOVIE IN THEATERS one that’s ACTUALLY BEING MARKETED and that’s actually being given the chance to show in theaters. The sad thing is I don’t think this ORIGINAL movie would’ve been given a chance if it wasn’t made a star as big as John Krasinski
Yeah and there were a dozen of ideas like this before Fosters' Home for Imaginary Friends and this movie, kind of like with Monsters, Inc., Inside Out and yes Toy Story. Also John Krasinski saying the movie is a live action PIXAR movie got me wanting to see this more and it looks like it will be ten times better than Blumhouse's Imaginary and of course Drop Dead Fred, yeah I said that!
People saying it's a ripoff of Fosters are being trolls and it's annoying. Just because they're imaginary characters doesn't mean it's the same idea. The concept is different, as are the characters, setting and age demographic. They're pointing to characters named "Blue" and "Bloo" but that simply may have been a cute little nod to the cartoon as homage, or completely unintentional and just the color/name that made sense since the kid that created him is said to be colorblind in the movie.

I always had imaginary friends when I was younger. One of them was named Robert. And I feel like this movie is gonna be a great call back to something I loved as a kid. 🩷🩵🧡
