I imagine that once Em is your friend he is fiercely loyal and and seems like he loves his friends and is maybe vulnerable as a result, so he tends to stay guarded against letting people in.

What a weird thing to say.
EM has always been an extremely nice person in real life. People get this idea that he's this angry asshole all the time because he vents his frustrations in some of his songs. Most of the time he's just being hilarious and goofy, and/or he's just being really nice and introverted. That's how I am most of the time, though EM is WAY funnier than me and pretty much everyone else. EM is funnier than 99% of real, professional stand-up comedians, & he's the most insane wordsmith the world has ever known. He's a fvcking genius. He's the greatest rapper to ever live, he's just extremely humble about all that. He could put together a fvcking incredible stand-up comedy special if he felt so inclined, but he's a rapper. He's mastered the art of rap, so he'll always be a rapper. He's also an incredible producer, a true protege of the greatest hip-hop producer ever, Dr. Dre. EM is BY FAR the most underrated producers ever. It's insane how many people don't even know he produces not me his own songs, but he's made beats for some of the greatest rappers eber like Jay-Z & Nas, Obie Trice, D12, Stat Quo, Ca$his, Yalawolf, Royce da 5'9", Slaughterhouse, etc. he even produced Skylar Grey's entire first album. He's one of the greatest producers in not just hip-hop, but pretty much anything he decides to produce. There's an entire Wikipedia page devoted to every song and every album he's ever produced. I highly recommend checking out that list, you'd be amazed by the amount of songs and albums he's produced for some of the great artists ever. EM is insanely talented, and I'm not just talking about his God-Level lyricism skills. -

Shit makes me happy. Listening to all of Marshalls music, dudes life was fucking rough. Having heard his fucking journey and making the friends hes had has me so fucking happy. I couldn't agree more. Remember when the tracklist for REVIVAL came out & seemingly everyone on the internet lost their minds because Ed was on River, Beyoncé on Walk On Water, Skylar Grey, etc. and all those people said REVIVAL was "Trash" or "Garbage" before they had even heard a single song from that album? That was the most ridiculous shit, I defended that album immediately l, and still do from time to time. That album is a fvcking masterpiece. I just got it on vinyl (It was the only EM vinyl I was missing. So I revisited REVIVAL from beginning to end, and it was even better than the last time I listened to it. People are fucking retarded, features or no features, that album is fvcking fantastic. N how lucky is Ed?!? He got to collaborate & be featured on not one but two EMINEM album, AND he got EM & 50 together on a song with him. He's like the luckiest EM fan ever. -
@@shroomshady27Exactly, revival isn’t that bad of an album and people definitely hated on it because of the pop features and how it was political. Walk on Water and River wasn’t that bad and I thought they were great songs. I agree that Ed Sheeran is lucky to collaborate with Eminem, his idol for more than three times and have him with 50 on a track together. People hate on Eminem and he doesn’t deserve it because he’s the Goat 🐐
