I'm a sophomore in highschool and I'm interested in being a cheerleader for UCLA but I'm confused on how to sign up .
Your best bet would be to attend UCLA.

@@jessduh5761 It's pretty hard to get into UCLA. It's the second best public college in the country. The acceptance rate is 14.3%.

Absolutely!
UCLA Spirit Squad can you also get a scholarship that way or is that only for Americans?

i’m a sophomore in high school and i’m on the cheer squad but I don’t have any tumbling but a roundolph but would they care if u have tumbling? meaning that do u need tumbling to be on the squad
i’m a sophomore too and i have a round off too. i’m in tumbling classes so try calling up your local cheer gyms and see if you could take tumbling classes :)

UCLA has a separate dance team, as many universities do
Do I have to have any experience?
Well for most college cheer teams you do need tumbling and stunting experience. (From what I’ve seen from other colleges, mostly tumbling) But it’s okay if you don’t, it’s best to practice getting those skills before trying out. There’s also prep clinics for high school students who are interested, so I would recommend going to one(either for UCLA or clinic for a college that’s in your home state if your out of state. And trust me, taking one of these clinics will help you in a long run, especially if you don’t any skills.
