Everyone, This is a demake that can be found on Gamejolt, it is not a playable ROM for any Atari system. It was made in Game maker With Graphics and some of the sounds inspired by what an atari system would have been capable of but still well above the capabilities except for maybe the 8 bit line of computers or the 5200 or higher. The sprites have too much detail and colors (megaman having 3 colors and transparency plus the shots being yellow.), To many colors being used.
Thank you for the heads up. I was looking hard over these last few days trying to find this port and what platform it was for - Atari 2600 was clearly not it. I will take this one off my list of potential games to cover then. Much appreciated.
You're close, the Atari 400 and 800 is are mostly the same hardware as the 5200. The hint that it's the Atari 800 is the keyboard keys listing at the start.
No, it really doesn't. This was a demake running on a modern PC that can be found on Gamejolt with graphics and sounds inspired by, but not at the limitations of, any atari except maybe the 5200, or the 8 bit computer line. It is not a ROM. Even then, they could do better than that on those units. the 2600 wouldn't be able to do this even with bank switching, let alone the audio at the same time.
@@ricardohuff8774 they are definitely worth playing at least once. Now the Megaman 2 one actually looks more like the limitations of the 2600 if you feel inclined to look it up.
Which Atari? Not quite sure if 5200 or ST. The ST could sure do better graphics than this but might have been too slow in CPU to draw anything better at the frame rate? I think the 5200, as the per scanline coloring would not have helped much on the ST.

This has to be atari's graphic limit.
I would have to mute the audio then.
Great MegaMan Atari 2600 games I hope they make MegaMan 3 for Atari 2600
Era 19 de agosto del 2023 .
Y así se hizo megaman Atari.🎉
This looks more like an Atari 5200 game than Atari 2600.

Se for do Atari 7800 aí sim faz sentido!
i hope there was an actual atari version to see how much it could actually be done on the atari
I wish the NES version has this stages that long.
If this was on Atari I'll sell big.
I know what I'll be playing at night?😂
Why does it use midi versions of the music ?
From the same creator as _Mega Man 2 Atari,_ I hope?
Tá bonito até pro atari 7200 ele não faz isso nunca mesmo sem música
This prove Atari still got it for all these years.

people don't realize this is made in Game Maker lmfao
This looks more like a 7800 game
Strange telling someone wanna
Play megaman on Atari?😂
Cool and all that we live in an age where (de)making games like this is possible, but eesh, it's still rough looking. Okayish on the music.
