- Welcome to my video for DX Chogokin Bull Taurus [DX 超合金 ブルタウラス] from Seijuu Sentai Gingaman [星獣戦隊ギンガマン].
Bull Taurus is the mecha of KuroKishi Bull Black/KuroKishi Hyuuga [黒騎士ブルブラック / 黒騎士ヒュウガ]. Bull Taurus is intially in the form called Go Taurus [ゴウタウラス] which is essentially a large taurus. Kuro Kishi enlarges to become Ju Kishi [重騎士] who can then ride Go Taurus and use the Bull Swords [ブルソード]. As Go Taurus transforms into Bull Taurus, Ju Kishi rides inside of Bull Taurus. The Bull Swords combine to form the Twin Bullsword [ツインブルソード].
This is a pretty cool toy. As far a mecha go, this is quite unusual. It's...kind of a two piece mecha, but at the same time it isn't. One of the components is an enlarged version of a character which is related to the Jusho from Kakuranger, except different since Ju Kishi wears Bull Taurus as armor and is completely obscured.
There is definitely enough metal in this toy. When Gingaman toys say Chogokin on them, they mean it. Though not nearly as heavy as Gingaioh is, Bull Taurus is pretty heavy for it's size. Speaking of size, it is scaled pretty nicely with Gingaioh as Bull Taurus and the Gin Seijuu [銀星獣] as Go Taurus. It's not perfect scaling, but it's pretty good. Quality-wise this toy is great. Easy to use and transform, with a nice set of gimmicks.
This toy was released by Bandai America as the Torozord for Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.

I ALMOST got this back in the day, but something told me "no".
Now that I'm watching- and enjoying!- _Gingaman_ on DVD from Shout! Factory, I'm taking a second look.
Of all of the Gingaman mecha, this one is easily my favorite.
The big put-off for me was/is that none of the robos combine with each other, which they hadn't done since _Maskman_ [or _never_ if you only saw _Power Rangers_ ]. This still gets my heckles up even today. But even though I never watched much of _PR Lost Galaxy,_ years later I did buy a Dlx Stratoforce Megazord specifically because it had a different tone to any mecha before it, save perhaps RyuSeiOh/Red Dragon Thunderzord.
I always have and still want one of those multi-function Jizaiken Kiba/Transdagger. Perhaps the only downside to those is it did not have electronics (eh, I can live with that), it only comes in red flavor (sigh), and where the handles clip together at their base(s) wears out fast (which CAN be an issue for Kiba Arrow mode).
I'm also taking a second look at the Seijuuken/Quazar Saber (ehhhh... kinda...) and Jugekibo/Quazar Launcher (neat idea but the toy... =/ ).
But, now I'm starting to anticipate Bandai giving us a Super Sentai Artisan Ginga Brace/Galaxy Morpher!
Ah, not so. They sold the Jizaiken Kiba in all five flavors in Japan.

I already have the Karakuri Hengen/Ninja Battle Morpher and Kyuza Weapon/______ because they do the same thing, but their shared problem- as is the case with most _Super Sentai Series_ common-use weapons- is that they're all *red* and _usually don't_ give equal attention to the other core team members' colors.
Yep. The other colors are kinda scarce, but you’ll see them pop up from time to time

It still bugs me that NONE of the Gingaman mecha interacted with eachother at all. No part swapping or some kind of combination thing. I know this is overdone in the new series and such, but dammit this series had good mecha..They couldn't find some way to make this stuff combinable without sacrificing aesthetic?
Rethink the Gingaman lore. The Gingaman team was created with the power of the Seijuu and their arsenal was empowered by the Seijuu thousands of years prior. BullBlack also had powers that were connected to a Seijuu... well a JuSeijuu(Heavy Starbeast) BullBlacks powers were not created with any collaboration with whomever crafted the Gingaman power set. The fact they come from similair sources is the only reason Hyuga joins the team as KuroKishi. Whoever created the Jizaiken Kiba intended for the main 5 Seijuu to turn into GinSeijuu and combine into Gingaioh but likely had no clue about BullTaurus, and GingaPhoenix Rhinos and Bitus were killed light years away and were revived as Cyborgs by Biznella. BullBlack, Biznella, and whoever created the Gingaman arsenal had no means of comparing notes so by all logic their mecha shouldn't have any reason to combine further than Gingai-oh. In Power Rangers it makes little sense, but watching and understanding Gingaman it makes perfect sense
I had the Galaxy Torozord, so INFERIOR! There was no chain, the mini Magna Defender was lacking almost all detail, just red plastic who's legs folded up behind him. I'm pretty sure Bandai America shrunk down this whole mold or filled it with extra plastic for that.

i reject your reality and replace it with my own. dude, the toys replicate the show, they never combined in the show, therefore none of the toys do so, IMO: this is one of the better toy lines, Gingaman: Lost galaxy, was one of my favorites in the Power rangers line, it showed that each animal had their own feelings and can do whatever they wanted to. instead of mindless robots who obey their masters, i believe the only reason they never combined was because Bull Taurus never wanted to
In terms of two piece mecha between the user and the mecha itself, I think WolKaiser wins out.

I was referring to the series as a whole though...I suppose no combining mecha over shitty combining mecha is better..but dammit if live man and zyu ranger can pull it off, this could have too.
