- What happens if you mix Coca Cola, Red Bull and Milk together. This video shows the reaction between these three drinks. The acidic fizzy drinks react with the protein in the milk and starts to curdle, forming a scummy foam layer on the top, and bottom of the drink.

the protein in the milk start to denature because the coke is quite acid. the redbull just speeds up the process. the gunk that you see on top and on the bottom of the glas is just denatured protein

It's a double reaction. The milk and Red Bull causes the casein in the milk to become sticky and bond together. Casein is lighter than water, so it floats to the top. The milk and coke bonds to the rest of the milk [phosphoric acid in the coke bonding with milk], making it heavier than water. The stuff in the middle is the rest of the stuff that hasn't reacted.

An interesting technique which, while gross in this instance, was a thing of beauty back in the day with a product known as Jello 1-2-3 which created different densities and textures as the jello separated into layers.

In the netherlands this is called "spoetnik". Instead of milk and red bull, we use coffee-milk (is more fat) and just sugar. You can use coke, but also sprite or other carbonated sodas. I dont drink it very often but it isnt gross.
The trick is to get a lot of foam and as less liquid as possible. You have to use right amounts
