PaPa don't change a thing you or Liliac are doing. Melody has a voice that most listeners aren't used to hearing without auto-tune, I think her voice is raw, heavenly. Most bands out there today can't pull off a live performance and sound anything like their recordings, Liliac is a rare exception. Keep doing you, all of you, RO&RH 👍🤘🤘🇨🇦.
I'm sure there's a lot of bands, singers out there who are taking a good hard look and listening to THE LILIAC band and the singing capabilities of Melody!!! And realizing it's not just a flash in the pan, but something that's coming on strong! I'm not knocking other bands or female vocalists, but LILIAC is forging a path that's seemingly unstoppable!!!! And I don't hear anything out there as diverse as I do with LILIAC!!! I'm amazed at the progress they make !!! I think they will be even better with the use of their own Studio after it's finished!
I'm 56 have two adult children myself I'm a child of the 80s you guys kick ass with your music..here's what I really say is don't listen to any negative comments it will take you off track and we the fans don't want that we want you and liliac to keep on rocking hard so good luck in the future 🤘

When it was written by people sitting in the same room for hours. There’s a warmth there because rock music isn’t meant to sound perfect ❤ by Liliac gets damn close!
Great post! Don't EVER deviate from your roots. This highlights each persons talents and contributions in a way that most people never get to experience. I always find it interesting to hear it stripped down. Individual background vocals etc. Everyone adds reverb. In college I preferred to practice in one of the music theory rooms instead of a dead practice room. I think that what some naysayers are getting confused is all the background vocals with MeloDias natural rasp. I loved it when you broke down Dear Father and now Not Afraid. I loved this post. Not boring at all and filled with good information. It is so easy to only focus on Melody's vocals or Sam's solo, but the bass, rhythm guitar portion and drums really drive the song and set it up for Melody to deliver. The keyboards are more subtle, but your post here shows how the keyboard adds to the song. Hard to pick it up on a conscious level on first listen. A bit different than the blatantly obvious adaptation of your Master of Puppets cover which was clever and surprising itself. Liliac is so well produced that it sounds unfair to critics. Rock and metal artists all use reverb and delay, but given the standout vocals and lead guitar, people are grasping for artificial straws to expose some kind of Vampire magic and prove that the amazing sound we hear is not "real" somehow. Love it! Love the changes to the extended song. 👏 👏 👏

"Crushed diamonds on velvet"! What is cool to watch is how she changes octaves with no show of movement or effort. She changes the notes, and you can't ever see it. Hard to describe. Can't wait to see you all again next tour if you come to Colorado! Rawk on.

I BELIVE your right about that! I'm sure there are other bands looking at the rapid pace LIliac is gaining ground! Especially for a band without a large Record Label promoting them! There are a few other bands out there who sound pretty good, but I just don't hear the level of diversity in their music! LILIAC has a great deal of diversity and they don't just crank music out just to throw it against the wall to see if it sticks!

I love your approach of keeping the music real, because the more they keep it real in the studio the more it will be real live.
Dave, I found LILIAC about 4 1/2 years ago flipping across CZcams, It was Crazy train! I had to stop in my tracks! Had to listen to it again to make sure it was really these young kids playing! That was it for me! I researched everything I could find on the internet about them, the more I learned and heard, the more I liked them! I'm now 60 and haven't followed a band's progress or thier journey to fortune and fame in 35 years! But the integrity, workmanship, drive, and humbleness of this entire family is something I've never seen in the music industry as far as a Rock Metal band! There's no dought in my mind that these people will truly be successful in thier dreams and efferts!!!! It just doesn't seem to stop!!! I love all this music!! Big FANG HERE!!!

A few seconds in I was like "what are fhey, kids?". a few more seconds and I was like " Wow, they're good!". Then Melody kicked in with the vocals and I was like "OH MY GOD!!!". That was it. That was the moment I was forever hooked on Liliac.
I don't think you need to explain this but it interests me nevertheless. Many things go into recording and I love to hear about the process. Everybody uses Reverb and Layers though. As for Auto Tune, Liliac/Melody doesn't use it or even need it.
I am a audiophile (someone who likes GOOD sound, that's all ) ... I know all about 'auto tune' ... (That is usually done at the recording studio end) ... and reverb ... 'reverberation' ... Extra 'echo' ... I use to work for Radio Shack (Tandy Corporation) I use to sell cool audio stuff, allot of cool audio stuff can't be connected to NEW audio equipment
