This is a BADUF movement. The Jmius movements cut away are a wide "Backwards J" or "Question mark" where BADUF movements are a narrow "Backwards J". The BADUF movements also have narrow long cut outs on each side of that middle section where Jmius movements have a oval type cut out on each side of that middle section. Per a google search "Jos Burger und Sohn acquired the BADUF cuckoo clock factory. But in 1984, the production in Furtwangen ceased, and the factory was dismantled." Burger und Sohn are the same people that have the trademark for Regula. Who you know still make movements for all most all the clock makers of today. I believe that AMS still makes clocks. You did a great job at fixing this clock and making it look presentable. I agree that the bellow tops need to be changed as they are too big. Thanks for the verbal shout out, the shout out in the description and the shout out at the end of the video. God bless you and yours.
can you tell me more about the movement? some cuckoos in my collection have this movement. very cute and compact small movement very loud governor tho. i have one with no markings in a swiss chalet styled cuckoo and one marked JMIUS in a german cuckoo clock, one simular to the one in the video.
I think it is a Baduf 100 movement (Badische Uhenfabrik AG.) They use the Cuckoo Clock MFG Co. name too. The plate design matches one in a book I have on clock movements

These older clocks are nicer because of the memories people have when they were kids. Thanks for watching and you have a wonderful day.
Good job Mike, I enjoyed the video. I am going to pick up a magnetic screwdriver at Menards and I will be all set for my next project.
They do come in handy for most of the jobs you do with clocks. Thanks so much for stopping in and you have a great week.
