They chat about his work and how it's not easily describable, the issues with working with other people, the effect of creating satire, and, of course, Salad Fingers. Steve and Sean then answer a few questions from Instagram and TikTok! Ghosts, murder, cream, and more on this week's episode of MHMN.

Hi videos resinate because they touch on actual aspects of horror and trauma like isolation, delusion, the macabre, abstract ideation, the surreal...unlike most horror cliches which are vapid

When asked the question of which movies hit the horror and tension perfectly, I said ALIEN aloud and was so pleased to hear David say it right after I did. I feel I’m in good company on that opinion. I’m just getting into animation, so, he’s quite an inspiration for the range of what can be done and most importantly , he seems like a really good dude. Cheers for the interview and I hope all is well during COVID (or as well as it can be). :)

@@placeholder4038 I never said I was going to like it. Everything would be pretty boring if we already knew if we like it or not before watching it.
@@ForneusThirty I don’t want to be mean but I don’t know where you’re getting that from. I’ve watched plenty of things I knew I was going to like and still had a great time. Even when I knew what would happen in them. I recently re-watched a movie called Election and it was still funny even though I remembered all the plot points, a good portion of the jokes, and knew I would like it. And if you have to wait until eighteen, for one reason or another, until you will be able to watch Sock Six it seems like you wouldn’t have watched a lot of David Firth’s other stuff.

In that case I recommend the TV show 'Jam'. A cult classic, dark and surreal with a good feeling of dread.
"Wheronman" is a youtuber who do very weird but sometimes funny stuff too! He makes me think about david firth creations sometimes... g
