I have the same problem that another guys told about the firewall turn on and turn off in few seconds. I tryed to use virtual box and vmware workstation, both the same error. I put 4 cores and 8 gb for the VM. Thanks!

please go to CMD of your Fortinet firewall and use command 'execute factoryreset' and at the same time go to your Fortinet firewall and add your credentials. it will take the image from your support website.

Please check your settings in winscp and please check the name you gave in eve-ng. I suggest you to provide the same name and also check for permissions to that.

The Problem could be that the browser isnt able to open the telnet address/putty. Try to Mouse-Over the Fortigate Node in eve-ng to see the telnet address. Now you can login manually with putty.
Didn't work for me. I followed your steps 3 times but when I add the node the firewall has still the no entry sign

Could you please check if u provide the correct permissions and also check if u can decom the fw from the support websites and add it back ( also add that video as well).

Hi, i have a problem, I can add the node but it won't let me turn it on, I turn it on and it turns off after 1 second, I gave all permissions to the folder and the file inside it

you need to probably increase the cores and ram. ( 4 cores and lets say 8gb). Then on the eve edit fortinet and add 2 gb and 2 cores

@@mahmouddaboul5222 I try to do this, but not work for me, I have the same problem the turn on e turn off. Just for the fortigate, when a I use cisco, it work normally.
When I click the firewall, Putty has been loaded but network error:connection refused. what could be the issue?

hello, i downloaded the "New deployment of FortiGate for KVM
FGT_VM64_KVM-v7.4.1.F-build2463-FORTINET.out.kvm.zip" but i can't extract on my Desktop?? it says "The Archive is either in unknown format or damaged
