Some of the most incredibly skilled people grew up in Appalachia, and Dickenson County had a lot of amazingly talented folks. My pal, Jimmy Scott Mullins, is one of the most amazingly talented guys I know. He could sing, play, write, and is an amazingly funny guy as well. He's one of the MULLINS FAMILY SINGERS, and leads THE NEW HARVEST BROTHERS. He does Mountain Tone music like no other. He and I used to make homemade comic books together as kids. He'd write them, and I'd draw them. He's just one of many, many talented people to come out of the Clintwood area. Dickenson County has some of the most creative people on Earth.
