Thank you so much Scottie! I never knew I could be good at sketching and that too with ink but these days I am enjoying it very much❣️
That's awesome to hear Vidhi! Keep up the great work.
Can u please tell about the pen for sketch which u have used? Please also tell about What types of pen u have used at the end that was white ? Actually the technique of sketch with white pen that was amazing 😍😍😍......
@@aradhyabiswas5050 Uniball eye ultra micro (Probably 0.38 mm, black) pen is his main sketching pen. An alternative to this can be any technical drawing pen (0.3 or 0.4 mm) like Faber Castell (Pitt artist and Ecco Pigment), Sakura Pigma Micron, Uniball finliner drawing pen, Pentel drawing pen, etc.
Loose sketch. Makes me happy.
Water colors. Makes me happy.
Awesome confident sketching! Fantastic talent my friend.
I love this! Was feeling so frustrated this morning, and sketching along with each image was just what I needed.
Thanks Mary! I'm glad the video helped🤗
Wow! So relaxing to follow along, so much fun, and such great instruction! Love the easy going style of your videos...a style I aspire to! Thank you!
That's awesome! All the best with your sketching👍🏼
Oh my….love, love, love this information. I am impatient and hate spending a lot of time on my artwork, so these tips gives me the license to move even faster. Thank you!!
😊Thanks Ruth! haha yes faster the better👍🏼
Hats off for your imagination! Those are so impressive!
I love the loose curves you add in clothing where they have folds…
Thanks Ashie!
Yine harika iş, eskizlerinizi izlemekten cok keyif aliyorum, hepsini denemek istiyorum, tesekkürler💕
Great idea for art block and warm up I used it on a bumpy bus ride from Cardiff and it worked perfectly
👍🏼 that's a perfect place to use it!
Nice Scotty. I feel like this one was made for me. lol. I'm one of the ones afraid to start with ink but i've been practicing and my confidence is really growing. Thanks!
🤗 Yes I think you were one of the people who mentioned this to me in a comment! Hope this exercise will help you🙌🏼
I never understood the purpose of the one-line technique…. because when I read about it, my interpretation was that you do it slowly and deliberately. CZcams is great, I’ve learned much more on here than any class I’ve taken or book I’ve read because you hear the explanation and see the demo up close. Now I know this technique is appropriate in a fast moving situation, and I can’t wait to try it out with a different purpose/perspective in mind. Thanks!!
That’s great to hear! Glad this video could help you on that. All the best🙌🏼
Awesome 👏👏👏👏really helpful thank you 😊
thanks Saaliyah🤗
thank you...
it's so helpfull for release preasure
Glad this could help you👍🏼
This is a great video, Scottie! I know I should be doing continuous line drawing, but it is difficult! I think it’s a great idea to use it as a warm-up.
Yes this warm up exercise would help any kind of art👍🏼
Some great advice here I'm really liking your videos. Have to say my sketching has gotten a bit ridged and stale, just not loose. This is helping a lot, I'm still not very good but that doesn't matter. I draw for fun I'm never going to be a pro😅 its about the process and enjoying it. Keep up the good work😀👍
That's exactly right Gary! It is all about the process and enjoying it🙌🏼. So happy to hear you say that! All the best with your sketching😊
your videos are really helpful thankyou😊
that’s great to hear Leni!👍🏼
Excellent 😍😍😍..... I love your sketching ❤️❤️❤️❤️..... always u teach something new so that I am very interested to your sketch 😍 ...... Thanks for sharing 😍😍
Thanks a lot Aradhya🤗
it's a serious technique. if you pair this with strong visualization skills .... you can lit sketch what ever you imagine as you're literally tracing your imagination at that point.
This exercise is great ❤️🔥
Thanks Samik!
This is awesome, love the video. The issue I have and that I was amazed at in your video is getting the proportions so accurate. I tried doing this technique but I really struggle with drawing people in general haha. Any tips
Yes it can be hard! Have you seen these two videos? They have a few tips that might help for this kind of loose sketching.

this is great!
thanks Kenny!
I’ve been working on my people by using a magazine. Tons of ads with people.
Absolutely great! I just got into sketching and am wondering: What are you looking at while sketching? Are your eyes on your sketch or your motive? How often or quickly do you jump between them? I am struggling a bit with this and would be great to hear your advice, thanks!
I think you switch looking up and then down at your sketch quite regularly. It does depend how advanced you are but you might need to look more regularly if you are a beginner. I try to see the shape I'm sketching then loo at the page and then look back up for the next shape.
nice
잘보고갑니다 😀 ㅎㅎ
즐거운 하루 되세요
Where do you find your reference photos please I’m really struggling with that
I happen to just make a video on that! czcams.com/video/_alUAR9jXM0/video.html
👍🏼
you sound like Clickspring's tween brother :)
Great video BTW
haha he must be Australian too. Thanks Aleksey!
Do you use a “Lucy” to help you sketch? Or do you wing it?
No I sketch from observation and measure by eye as I go. So yea, winging it 😊
@@SketchingScottie I’m back to my love of art at 80 years old. I tried working with watercolor while working full time……became very frustrated, went back to acrylics. Never stayed with them. Now retired, thought I would try again. I’m having fun getting to paint again! Yes, I do copy some ideas from you tube, but strictly for my own study. I do not sell any. You and Laura Hart are my teachers of late. Thank goodness for technology!
I spend a lot of time sketching and painting. Better than housework! I mean really, how dirty can a home get when only one person lives here? Lol!
Thank you for your videos!
