You doing some solid job car reviewing by not reviewing everything as a sports car unlike many car reviewers. I've seen so many car reviewers critique a car's ability to rip corners on a car that's not meant for it.

Thanks mate. As soon as you opened the trunk, you had my heart ... I love liftbacks/fastbacks/sportbacks/hatchbacks, you name it ❤ . I will never understand how designer compromise the trunk of regular sedans with a small opening. Thats like blasphemy for me😂
amazing. another Tesla Model S size and hatchback liftback for the price of a Model 3!🤯 It is really interesting that one should expect Chinese cars to be small but no, they make cars wide and long to fit the decent capacity LFP batteries.
It is actually far cheaper than a Model 3. The most expensive variants of the A07 (both BEV and EREV) top out at like 24k USD in China, while the Model 3 STARTS at 32k USD in China.

In ''the west'' is hard to find an EV with better price /quality than Tesla... in China... almost all of them. - you can buy a very good car for 60-80% of a Tesla... try that in ''the west''

That trunk button is so cool. Thanks for allowing us to lock our cars with the keys inside again.
I think since the car can detect the key inside, it should sound warning or won't allow you lock it. Just like any push button start car, you leave key inside the car and walk out to touch the outside door handle, it won't lock.

You have never seen the lock button at the rear? If your BYD Yuan Plus had the electric close it would also have the lock function, although the lock only works if you have a key with you when you press it.

Not bad at all. My only gripe would be the HUD, I would much rather have a driver's display panel. My wife will probably now watch too, she has just passed her test. (Of course that means she now has to learn to drive safely on the roads at over 20kph) She has some strange ideas about prices. Today we saw a Hyundai Elantra and she told me that these days it only costs RMB60,000.00. If that was true the EV market would be in trouble I'm sure. Keep up the good work!

Chinese are highly productive and efficient in the manufacturing compared to Indians.
With no R&D anything can be sold with very low price, in china every new week a new car brands launches. This car is similar to Nio and Xpeng, even look at the software. Everything is copied from their market because Chinese govt helps brands to get the design/information.

What's wrong with choices? Some people want the smoothness of an EV but the range and ease of refueling of a PHEV. For those people EREVs are the best option. You can get EREV or BEV versions of this exact car for the SAME PRICE.
