Spark 1/43 model boxes are track themed, ie. Daytona, US. I too started collecting 1/64, Tarmac Works. Then, now 300 1/43 Spark models, only Spark, TSM and Looksmart. You are correct about Andy Blackmore. Cool thing about the Spark model you have us that they only made 500 of them. Tarmac Works are 10,000 per model. Even the best 1/64 will never come close to a Spark 1/43 or even better 1/18. Oh, the livery by Andy Blackmore is called "POP ART". He came up with that in only 3 months including the wrap. As mentioned, I have almost 300 Spark 1/43 scale, only have (2) models with slight defects. Almost every late model Spark are perfect. The air jacks are "pneumatic". If you ever remove the body from the chassis, you will be amazed at the interior detail that would never otherwise see.
@markzebr6463 Thanks for the info! I'm still only sitting at 5 Spark 1/43s in my collection, and I have the 1/43 TSM Rexy on the way. Trying to limit myself to only Huracan GT3s since 1/64 is my main collection. But the detail on 1/43 is hard to resist lol. I want to get some of the Evo2s that Spark and TSM are doing Also I would be too scared to even take these off their wooden plinths, so I'm not sure about taking them about. I'm sure the interior detail is amazing
great review and details, very concise and instructing. Discovering ur channel atm and these ones are starting to become hard to find. If im correct i tend to notice bigger and complex liveries are made with big decals, but spark, is very solid quality wise, casting and all, occasionaly theyre gonna be some flaws like slight incorrect color tone or not exact period correct details when the model is obscure and barely documented, it became my favorite brand to collect. Hope to see more
@patito8728 I still have very few 1/43 models in my collection, but Spark has blown me away by their quality! I have a few more Huracans on the way as we speak. Unfortunately I only collect the huracan GT3s as they're pretty expensive and 1/64 is my main thing. I wish I could be more help for other castings
The only times I have damaged 1/43 scale cars was taking them off the bases, two I did for reviews, quite angry with myself. However, those were cases when I surgically directed the cars and discovered how amazing the interiors were. I bought the Rexy Porsche at Sebring from my favorite dealers. They were the first to have it and only brought a dozen to the race and knew that they would sell out their allotment and were only taking online pre orders. The Rexy review has been on my channel for 4 months and has just gotten 1000 views. The most popular of all of my cars. Mine was the TSM IMSA Pro-Am, did you get the Spark?😊
Congrats on 1k for that vid! I'll go check out your channel! I just got the TSM Sebring Rexy in the other day and did a video on it as well! I'll soon be getting the RSR version from Spark when I can get one for a good price. I am slowly falling down the 1/43 rabbit hole lol

At that size the vent on the engine cover shoulda have real holes like the mini gt not painted
I believe that's how the car is designed. I don't think those vents lead straight down to the engine
