There are case adapters you can get that add triggers, heard some are better than others, some might kinda scratch the system so you’d need to make sure it’s not one of those. It works by using the touch back. Sounds like it’s worth getting that to play some games, especially for remote play.

I was looking at the Logitech G Cloud and the Switch lite. The G cloud for the money feel lighter but cheaper. The Switch Lite feels like a solid handheld. I wanted to buy it but am waiting cause I got bills. I have two Vita 2000s. I had helped my co worker purchase one from Japan and he wasn't feeling it. He sold it to me for $100 so I modded it. My other Vita is just sitting on the shelf. I may mod that one too. The Switch Lite is appealing to me.

As far as i see it, it just depends on what you want i mean more portable and easy gaming with some good uses the Vitas got you covered but in terms of home console games even if they are lower end versions the Switch Lite has got you covered. But in terms of Emulation Vita is easiest and best to run due to what you can do with it and how little money it costs to do it with you just needing a web browser and a SD2VITA for the extra storage but with the Switch Lite sure when you hack it and use that mode its better but it takes too much time and money to make it work since you need a modchip and either a guy who can solder it in or to buy equipment yourself and learn to solder which can be messy and can damage the system.

Yeh the nintendo switch is not worth it anymore. Plus they games are so expensive. You can mode a vita and playing every game for free. I'm planning to buy another vita
@@Kevinhb_pls research, world have moved now, now Nintendo switch is being modded, and not much people buying games, all is available for free, and ppsspp (psp) emulator avail on switch. But switch has a good collection of games which is console level, from Harry Potter to Assassin's creed to hot pursuit to Naruto plus many more games coming up. U can connect external game pad and play like a console on switch lite easily.

The other slot next to the card slot is for the Sony proprietary memory cards.
Which are very expensive, and helped lead to the demise of the vita.

It’s actually for an accessory that was never released. The memory card slot is at the bottom of the Vita. And the SIM card is on the left side. The SIM card reader can now be repurposed to use micro sd.

PSVita doesn't have a lot of games on it that aren't alrdy ported and/or remastered/remade on other platforms
The NS has a larger game library than like the last 3 PS generations combined. And Nintendo consoles arenlt difficult to 'hack', so you could get it all for free

If you're low on funds or without a steady income, then the Vita will definitely take you further. You basically get a whole PS1 and PSP, and free Vita, ps1 and psp games if you mod it, which is easy to do these days. For quality, the switch is better due to the library of games. As for features, I rarely use the ones for the Vita. Mostly because devs don't seem to focus on implementing them besides minor touch screen usage. This goes the same with the Switch, though the light has less features. But I have to point out that audio Bluetooth for both handhelds aren't the best. I've never got my vita Bluetooth to output audio through wireless headphones. The switch Bluetooth audio output works, though the connectivity isn't that great. It's best to wire up on both if you can. The original switch durability is low tier. Attached Joycons will disconnect if you nudge them up a little after a while of wear and tear. The Switch light shouldn't have that problem. The Vita is pretty solid. Holding it can feel awkward. Though that depends on the individuals hands and preferences. Having some kind of rubber grip should help. I just have a hard time playing fast action type games on the Vita. Playing something like UMVC3 on it is pretty much a joke. The switch has controller support so there's no problems in terms of holding. Overall all both the Switch and vita are great investment to make. In the end, games are what really matter. All you have to do for a great Vita experience is buy a Vita, sd2vita, and a memory sd card. After that you're set. Many Switch games are also on Vita. Great games like Ys8, all 3 Danganronpas, trails of cold steel 1 and 2, trails to zero English Patch, steins gate (and zero), House of Fata Morgana for a few worthwhile titles. It's a steal pretty much.
Thanks for your comment. The vita has so many flows which is why I got a steam deck. Cause I tried playing kill zone on the vita but it very awkward to hold for a long time and the fact that the vita is also small.

My steam deck can emulate PlayStation 1-3 as well as PSP, PSVITA, PS2, SWITCH, WIIU and more and play AAA PC games with constant support from steam and a massive community
Your PSVITA can't even run borderlands 2 at 30fps locked and the switch can and my deck can run borderlands 1-3 all at great settings and frame rate lmao

Compare the marketplace where you buy your games.
Compare the big releases games like rdr2, witch is not released for switch.
Compare the batteries. Compare the accesories. Compare the operating systems, r they hack-able or not. Compare the view angle. Compare the customer service.
