Smashed it again mozza , did a few nights on Balaton this year roughing it. Walking the rods out 400 meters in the dark with a bucket of bait is insane , as is the place
This year's carp season on the Balaton was brilliant. I caught a lot of fish walking in!

Feel like 3 x 22mm boilies for a hookbait wouldnt be very effective. Even a big carp might struggle to get hooked because of the shape of it 🤔
First trip to France 16 years ago the French were putting on five big boillies and catching. mind blowing but yea it works also sleeping in Disney tents ⛺️ lol. But honestly can’t deny they were hauling

22mm is quite a small bait for lake balaton 😅i was there this year twice in spring with a friend, and we caught loads of carp. We ended up fishing bollox rig style with two 24mm baits and sometimes 30mm, but still caught 5-6kg carps on it🤣
We use only 24-28-35mm boilie at Lake Balaton
