Yes. Really good to hear Darden SAY what I knew all along. The jury, not considering the tons of evidence, decided they would "Get one for their side", like pay back for decades of violence and brutality of black people. Problem was - that wasn't what the trial was about. It was about a man who ruthlessly murdered two innocent people and the grieving families they left behind. It was about justice for the victims - not about future book deals and payback for police discrimination.

Well in the documentary, one of the less educated jurors, Carrie Bess, actually confirmed it. 90% of the jury decided to acquit him because of Rodney King.

@@socialmediademigod1496 And the sad thing was, they did get one for their side, but in the process lost thousands more, likely because even the more sympathetic whites would hate them and want revenge, let alone the racists and white supremacists who were already around. If they thought this was a victory, it was a VERY short-lived one. No one really won at all, even OJ lost in the long run.

Cochran and Robert Kardashian had no integrity and ultimately paid the price for their injustice. Darden and Marcia kept their integrity and are alive and getting everything the others lost.

What the sad part about this all is that Nicole and Ron were brutally and gruesomely murdered would be the possible term and they never got their justice as they should had and OJ walks as a free man today and both families have a lot of pain even after 26 years because they know the killer is free and living life as nothing ever happened but yes I agree if all twelve jurors were African Americans then you knew from the start that Chris Darden and Marcia Clark never stood a chance and were going to lose one way or another and they had a judge who bought into the circus while the trial was televised and OJ won the case, but now 26 years the Dream Team has paid the price Kardashian,Cochran and I forgot who else is dead and probably in hell suffering and OJ will too be next when his time comes and then that’s when Nicole and Ron will finally have their justice

Chris just isn't trial law material or at least a trial of high magnitude. If you are going to cover a case of this magnitude there is a requirement to grab people's attention, having the room gravitate towards your presence, even if they disagree with your points. I'm not saying every lawyer needs to be as animated as Cochran, but there needs to be some presence felt in the court room. This guy had none. There's more life in substitute high school teachers than this guy.

I think Chris is in denial. The prosecution wasted all their time with trying to win every argument. They spent so much time with getting every witness to say what they wanted the record to reflect so for hours they just kept going over and over the same things only asking in different ways. Then during closing it was so sad to see them look almost like they were begging the jury to trust and believe them. For the record I think OJ was at the crime scene the night of the murders. His size 12 bloody footprints place him there. However, one also knows they played with evidence. I.e. Missing blood from the sample OJ gave, EDTA (preservative found only in sample vials) was found in DNA testing of socks, back gate and bronco. The blood stain on back gate found several weeks after collection, which they found a pic taken the day of collection that showed it was not on the gate. Pressed in blood stain on sock. Equally shocking was the Fung testimony. I can fill two pages of instances where detectives manipulated evidence. None of it matters. As stated, I think he was there. If only they stayed honest and not try to bolster their case against him (dropping the glove) he would have been convicted. It makes no sense! If OJ arrived home and went from his bronco to the front door leaving a bloody trail, how does it square with him dropping the glove as he came home claiming over the fence? Considering this would be a high profile case involving a defendant who was rich and famous, they tried to make it as air tight as possible. The only problem with this is "there is no such thing as the perfect crime".

+ElPocho DelMundo I'm not referring to when an interviewer legitimately and meaningfully challenges a guest to plumb their minds for the audience. I believe--although that comment is over a year old--I was referencing how Charlie Rose kept baiting Darden to say what he thinks Cochran or the other defense attorneys thought about O.J. Darden had to repeat that he could only speculate as to what was in their minds. Fairly obnoxious.

Sometimes you have to play the bad guy to win the case. Cochran knew his defendant was guilty but treated his defendant as if Simpson was innocent. Perhaps that's the angle Chris should've gone with. He should've approached instead of head on "Simpsons guilty without a shadow of doubt!" But instead entertain the idea "what if Simpson was innocent?" Play that angle a bit only to stick the knife & twist the sword & say "but what innocent man has the same shoe make & size at the scene of the crime? What innocent man goes on a slow speed chase away from the law & police? If you were convicted of murdering ur ex spouse would u have reacted the way Simpson reacted?" And just make all those idiots feel guilt soso SO much guilt for even remotely thinking for a second Simpson was innocent

Doesn't matter what a person believes. We all have our hopes and beliefs. It's what the EVIDENCE SHOWS and the evidence, particularly the DNA and blood spatter evidence at the crime scenes, proved overwhelmingly and beyond any reasonable doubt...that OJ did it. Sorry - scientific evidence is legally everything. Belief and emotion are meaningless in court.
