As someone that boxes and does Muay Thai…fighting an unorthodox fighter is sometimes THE most frustrating thing. Especially when they’re pressing you and moving forward. It’s just awkward and messy and sometimes becomes difficult to get anything going because they break your rhythm constantly… it’s really unlikely, but Francis might pull something off here if he rushes forward and starts throwing bombs.. his unorthodox boxing style in MMA gives so many experienced fighters issues…

Mathematically speaking Francis has an approximate chance of 9% knocking out Fury and a 17% chance of beating him in general. The odds are not in Ngannou’s favour. You don’t have to be an expert to realise the truth. The mayweather/mcgregor fight is proof that this is very much a one-sided fight. No matter how hard or how long Francis has trained for it won’t make a shred of difference. It’s not the fact that he’s fighting an experienced boxer it’s the fact that he’s playing by boxing rules therefore he’s extremely limited in what he can do. To say he’s out of his comfort zone would be an understatement. I just hope he doesn’t get knocked out by fury instead he lasts the full 12 rounds. In the event that Francis knocks out fury or beats him then it is obvious that the fight was fixed. The irony is, it’s a fixed fight, the outcome is predetermined already and both men are just being paid to put on an elaborate show.
I think this is the first time Frances has been the smaller guy in a fight. I wouldn’t say he’s sacred, but he looks uncomfortable. Probably because this is a new experience for him actually having to look up at a guy.
