    On that particular day almost all bells of Vienna were pealed minutes before the Pummerin.
    How can you know if the bells I filmed that moment are not from one of the dozens of churches near the Stephansdom?

    Difficult to say. This was a test of almost all Bells in Vienna, so the other bells you hear are actually from other Viennese churches in proximity too.
    Before that I witnessed the Pummerin twice upclose, during the funerals of Cardinal Koenig and Austrian President Klestil (I was guard of honor during my military service) and if I remember correctly it was not preceded by the smaller bells then. Funerals may be an exception though.
