For those of you who don’t know this movie is a Brendan Frazier movie called a blast from the past Brendan Fraser is born in a blast shelter because his dad builds a bombs shelter thinking that the Cold War will actually end in World War III interesting because they’re underground for like 50 years. I forget what it was and this boy Brendan Frazier is now a man and he’s never ever ever left the Bombshelter so he’s learning about the world but the world is not what he learned about because of course it’s how many years later.

A PSA 8-8.5 graded Mickey Mantle (only 35 cards known) is worth between $1.1 and 1.8 million; a PSA 9 (only 6 cards known) is worth around $7 million; and with only three cards graded a perfect 10 each are worth somewhere well north of $10 million. But I know where you're coming from. My mother invested serious money into stamps and they're effectively worthless now.

"Blast from the Past" -- This is one of the most delightful movies I've ever seen. Whenever I'm flipping channels and come across this film I watch it from that point until the end. So FUNNY and such a unique premise. Christopher Walken and Sissy Spacek play Brendan's parents and are HILARIOUS.
This is one of my favorite movies. Sooooo funny and it has Christopher walken as his dad. Everyone forgets how good Brendan was he has a lot of good movies.
He looks just like my dad. Hes gone now. Its always so bittersweet to see his movies. In a weird way its like getting to see my dad again. That combined with the childhood memories of watching these movies with my actual father
I got this movie out of a cereal box many years ago and watched it over and over when I was younger, it gave it a different experience. My parents coming home with cereal and me and my siblings finding out there was a gift inside, a DVD, rushing over to our DVD player and watching this film.
This movie was awesome to watch in the theater back in the day. I think it still holds up to day. Other great actors in this movie too. Kids in the Hall actor. Along with that guy that wants to dance in every movie.
Watching this movie at 7 years old in '99 gave me unrealistic expectations of mannerisms and what was appreciated. Brandon Frasier kills it and it's still of my favorite movies.

It's a nice thing to do not the "right thing", if someone comes to you willing to sell something without even checking what its worth its on him. If you're a nice guy you'll tell him but you're under no moral obligation to. Its "neutral vs nice" instead of "right vs wrong"
I remember going to see this in the movie theater with my old drummer from my first band and I had just had a root canal and was totally bombed on Vicodin so I couldn't feel the pain of eating a ton of popcorn and milk duds....until the next day. Good times. I miss my old band...and Vicodin.lol
i remember watching this movie with my dad. A lot of mannerisms and things he did went over my brother and i’s head so we would have to ask my dad and he would explain. He thought it was funny i enjoyed the movie even tho i didnt wanna watch it at first. I like that memory of my dad and the way watching movies felt special and nice.
if you are going to try and fool someone then pretend to be on their side, tell them "older is better with these cards they are worth a pretty penny, I think about 1-2k for the lot and I'll see if I can squeeze out more at auction, if I can then 50% of anything more I can get over that is yours to keep" then you make like 2k from the 6k card alone and half of all the others, they feel like you are helping them and you are making a tidy profit while not actually scamming them too badly too so you can somewhat sleep at night knowing you might only go to hell a little bit
