its actually quite easy to get mahoraga. Binding vows make it crazy easy since there is no apparent limit to how much you can sacrifice and gain from them. you simply use a crazy version of Nanamis overtime vow. you also use full chants and hand signs on everything for that extra boost in output. Getting the ox on easy mode: 1. binding vow to limit your cursed energy output for month to 10% but you get 500% output for 24 hours once the month is over 2. summon the ox 3. fly above it on nue 4. distract it with rabbit escape and drop max elephants on it every now and then 5. repeat step 4 until you have the ox Getting Mahoraga on easy mode: 1. Fuse the ox with nue so it can fly 2. if there is a cap on how much extra damage the ox can get from charging then Binding vow that removes the cap in exchange for charging slower or less durability 3. binding vow that the ox is slower but it charges up faster 4. binding vow to limit your cursed energy output for month to 10% but you get 500% output for 24 hours once the month is over 5. look for a spot where the ox totality can travel a long range uninterupted, probably over the sea through flying 6. test out how long it takes to charge and time it perfectly 7. place it down with 500% output and fly with a plane back to where you wanna fight mahoraga, along the way you start the ox totality charging 8. once you arrive at the battleground you wait for the ox totality to be in vision 9. summon mahoraga in the line in which the ox travels 10. mahoraga has no time to react and gets one tapped Edit: The fact that "Maximum output" Techniques exists implies that sorcerers not only dont use their full output on most techniques but also that sorcerers can controls how much Output they use on their techniques. Logically this means you wouldnt be forced to summon mahoraga at 500% output if you have some level of cursed energy control. However if this isnt true then as a commenter stated, you could probably just binding vow your way out of it so mahoraga is only at regular strength.

So my idea for taming Maho is a bit headcanon-y but essentially you start by merging nue and piercing ox with totality to combine their abilities. Essentially creating a flying freight train whose output increases the further it travels. Then you're going to use the snake to coil around big raga the moment it's summoned, while using your domain's shadow manipulation to create numerous copies of them, allowing them to basically overwhelm and briefly submerge raga into the shadows. While it's fighting to get out (and likely occupying its adaptation with the new problematic phenomena), you have your nue/ox fly farther and farther away for as long as you possibly can. Then you're going to have them fly in a straight line, dive bombing directly toward your location while wreathing themselves in their electricity. Just as Mahoraga would escape, you drop your domain's barrier to let Nue/ox in, and they literally turn into a kamikaze lightning explosion that would HOPEFULLY obliterate Mahoraga and thus tame it. The big draw here would be that you would need to hit it with something completely new, and kill it in one shot so its regen and adaptation can't kick in. Thus, the snakes are designed to grapple and restrain, but not damage. That way Mahoraga is baited into adapting to the restricting effects, rather than something like blunt force or anything of that sort. This should allow you your best odds to one shot it with your piercing ox kamikaze attack. Assuming the best, bam you've tamed big raga. Now the best thing you could reasonably do for yourself would be to sacrifice ALL of your other shikigami and use totality to merge them all into Mahoraga. Since it'd have rabbit escape's ability, you can now summon thousands of mahoragas that start with all of the abilities of the other shikigami while also being able to rapidly adapt to get stronger. With rabbit escape's powers, you never even have to risk totality mahoraga since you can keep the original shrouded in your shadows while it sends clones to fight on your behalf, possibly even adapting continuously as its clones fight and experience phenomena on its behalf.
The plan is very good, but you could go a little further with maintaining ox for a while so it builds up speed before the fight, bindin vows to up your output and a sacrificial pact to further boost ox. As for the totality, I think there is a set number of shikigami that goes into each totality, so you would lose a lot of your flexibility by killing all of your shikigami.
Nah, there's a chance that rabbit escape just wouldn't give the shikigami the ability to multiply. Thus, sacrifice everything but rabbit escape and you get infinite big flying electric snake rabbits that can shoot water, heal, adapt to things, and they gain power the longer they run. Don't forget, the rabbits are also naturally full of fighting spirit as shown when they ran the ones with Toji.
It would be interesting to see rabbit escape fused with another Shikigami I'd personally see if I could fuse it with Round Deer to create a Jackalope that is able to constantly multiple and output RCT simultaneously It would be super disrupting to my opponent and provide me with healing and cover
Pretty much any shadow with the rabbit escape could be absolutely busted, at some point even if the individual potential of each fusion is halved you can just bust out 10-20 of them and you pretty much control the battlefield, not saying it alone is s grade potential but you could make a lot of hrade ones have a run for their money
The fact that Megumi had both the frog and Rabbit Escape and didn't just fuse them together with the Serpent day one to make a Hydra is the reason why he's a bum in my book.

I've heard the theory that Heavenly Restriction in the Zenin clan is meant to make taming Mahoraga possible. Because Maki doesn't have cursed energy, she's not part of the taming ritual. So she can cut up Mahoraga with SSK while Megumi finishes hom off with a big hit (piercing ox at full power should be able to do it if his soul is damaged), and boom. Mahoraga is tamed.
I think there are two main strategies for megumi to tame mahoraga, based on what we have in jjk up till now : 1- You use the ox. Summon the totality ox fused with all the offensive shikigamis to improve his damage. A week, a month or even more time prior you summon it and give it a long time to charge his run. At the last time, when the totality ox has charged for who knows how much, you summon mahoraga already in the domain where you swarm and blind him with the shadows and when he is occupied with the adaptation of dealing with a huge mass of week mobs you make the ox hit mahoraga. Based on how much you let it charge it should be able to one shot mahoraga. If needed, binding vows can be made to make the totality ox faster and stronger or even able to run in a not straight line. 2- You basically use the inverted spear of heaven to neutralize the adaptation technique of mahoraga. This strategy depends on if the process of adaptation is considered a technique by the cursed tool or if it is considered a smaller part of the 10 shadows ct. To be fair, it depends on the rules gege set for this ct but if that cursed tool can be used than it's easy. Again, summon mahoraga in the domain, swarm it with all the other shadows, "debuff" it this way and at that point depends on how long you can sustain the domain. If you can keep it up until mahoraga dies you're good

Here's how to tame Mahoraga (Ya'll keep forgetting how broken binding vows are) Combine Nue and Piercing Ox. Make a binding vow where the Ox's ability allows it to fly in circles rather than running in a straight line, but it takes a bit longer to build up power. Use evasions and distraction tactics to draw Mahoraga's attention for as long as possible but DO NOT hit it with any blunt force attacks or cause it to adapt the ability to fly. When the time is right, call down Nue-Ox to smash Mahoraga into chunks. Finally, activate a 2nd Binding Vow that sacrifices Nue-Ox in exchange for one final ungodly lightning attack to erase the rest of Mahoraga's remains that might regenerate.
I think it resets per user. If Mahoraga has been adapting since the 10 Shadows technique has even existed, if wouldn't be able to be hurt by basically anything. Gojo mentioned that a Limitless user and a 10S user both killed each other in a duel, likely because of Mahoraga. I think the secret of beating Big Raga is a technicality of the '1v1' rule. The zenin clan has two famous 'hereditary techniques'. The 10 shadows and 'sealed CT' Heavenly Restriction. We have seen the fact that Toji and Maki aren't affected by barriers. They probably aren't considered participants in the taming ritual. We know the other 9 shadows combined aren't enough. My current theory is that 10:47 is close to it... Raga's taming is suppose to be done by the 10S user combined with the heavenly restricted of the zenin (plural, maki and toji were alive at the same time). Problem is, the zenin are discriminatory af and hate their restricted homies. They have been exiled and possibly 💀💀💀. Everyone else is is relying on whatever the limit of BVs are or stall for bull. BVs are whatever gege decides, 10S on its own doesn't have enough stall to hit 1 shot raga range. But what about Rabbit + like 5 tojis with different weapons (can't adapt, no CE so invisible with rabbit smokescreen). Use the support shadows to keep everyone alive (deer, rabbit, toad). Nue stun as your lifeline and just rotate through attacks until big raga is done (with bull last). Minimum casualties and solves the running out of gas problem. ggwp

Mahoraga needs to be hit to begin his adaptation so I think you'd gave to use piercing ox running over a long ass distance then the moment you summon mahoraga round deer toad orochi fusion to bind him down so he has to take the piercing ox hit maybe if nue was fused to ox it could like skydive to get the needed distance
mahoraga is easier to beat if you know how his abilities work. assuming megumi doesn’t know how mahoraga’s adaptation works, once he’s tamed every other shikigami, he could ask gojo to interfere with the taming ritual for him to properly test what mahoraga is capable of. once he knows, and knows what all of his shikigami are capable of, he could create a totality of all his shikigami except rabbit escape and his toads. he would have to find a very large enclosed space, summon mahoraga, immediately pop domain so that everything i do next is enhanced to 120%, release rabbit escape then slip into the shadows and release his toads and his totality. while the toads restrain mahoraga and rabbit escape distracts him the totality would use max elephants ability to fill the domain with water, and once that was done charge from as far as possible at mahoraga. and as soon as the totality makes impact i would have it release all its lightning from nue to cause an explosion like kashimo did against hakari to destroy whatever remained after getting crushed with piercing ox’s technique. hopefully the totality would be able to survive the explosion itself due to round deers healing. agito, although not able to touch gojo was low end relative to mahoraga with just 4 shikigami fused. 7 of the 10 shadows should be enough to actually put it down with the right strategy, especially with a domain boost. hopefully he could even release rabbit escape and the toads before the impact so he can keep them because they’re better as just stand alone shikigami imo.

Great vid, always appreciate when people aren't blindly hating on Megumi, but there's a couple of thing that are not true/could be different. 1. Totalities need at least one living shikigami to work. 2. Tiger Funeral would probably not be a stronger Divine Dogs, Totality does that already. It would probably work for defense, like a simple domain or an area with a vow of nonviolence as tigers are a symbol of protection and good luck. 3. Gojo is there, you can do test runs with the taming ritual with a safety net. 4. Binding vows are crazy good and you can increase your output massively with a sacrificial pact. 5. Tranquil Deer deactivates cursed tools while they are in it's area of effect. 6. Get a busted ass cursed tool and/or a person without ct (because they're an inanimate object from the technique's point of view) make a ton of binding vows, a sacrificial pact and let piercing ox run on a specialized treadmill for a couple hours. Then summon Mahoraga, weaken him with the cursed tools (bonus points if they have a complicated effect that takes a while to adapt to) and unleash a sacrificial pact boosted Piercing Ox when Mahoraga is looking bad.
You can store the ox in the shadows and just spawn it in from the shadows to one hit KO Mahoraga, or if you fuse orochi and nue, flood the area with the max elephant and then with the nue+orochi fry him, and use the deer to RCT the Mahoraga since it is a construct made of cursed energy. Or just store something heavy in the shadows and drop it on Mahoraga, idk
how to 10 shadow, farm xp to get stronger make a 9 shadow totality, figure out how to make you the host of the power, find some loophole for raga to allow more than 1 person to fight him, win, become realized potential man.
A fusion of Nue(or the serpent as a road if flying wont work) and the bull could probably ko anything given enough time since it would have more room to run, and a fusion of the toad and rabbits could restrain/distract an opponent for the nue bull. So the main problem with taming Mahoraga is you would need to make sure it doesnt have time to adapt to the nue bulls attack before its ready.
I've been saying this since forever, but I think that combining Piercing Bull and Nue would be the BEST combo possible. Especially for subjugating Mahoraga. PB's biggest weakness, is that it needs to run in order to build up power, and obstancles can very easily disrupt this power. An enemy can dodge, the Bull can trip, it can't get solid footing like from a flood, or it doesn't have enough space to run. With Nue and Bull combining, you eliminate 90% of those weaknesses, while gaining a massive boost to charge time and evasion prevention. By transforming running into flying, you no longer have to worry about terrain obstacles. Plus, flying is faster than running, so the attack charges power quicker than running. With the extra speed, it also become harder to dodge, not to mention that it can attack from ANYWHERE above, and not just in straight predictable lines. The only downside is that it can't really be used indoors as much anymore, but that was already a major handicap for bull anyway with nowhere to run around inside to build up power. So here's my idea for taming Mahoraga. Summon Bull/Nue totality, and have it fly around to build up speed for AS LONG AS YOU CAN. Then summon a max elephant to flood the arena, along with some frogs and rabbits. Then you summon Mahoraga into the water, and immediately have the rabbits and frogs restrict his movement. Then RIGHT AFTER (or even right before if you time it well) Mahoraga's been summoned, you then have Nue/Bull comit an orbital bombardment on Mahoraga's ass killing him instantly. Maybe also using frogs and rabbits to escape right as you summon him to escape Bull/Nue's mega nuke attack. Just my 3 cents. Edit* you could also probably use binding vows, but I don't care about them right now. Rather another idea, is that you could also trap Mahoraga inside the domain, and then maybe have Nue/Ox break into the domain from the outside and hitting Mahoraga. Edit 2* Combining Deer with Rabbit might also be OP. Imagine having a hundred Jackalopes running around outputting RCT for you and all your friends.
Here's my idea to tame Makora: Step 1: Make one of those cat treadmills that let them run for as long as they feel like it, Step 2: Add some sort of switch so it can stop or be destroyed Step 3: Summon Piercing Bull Step 4: Let Piercing Bull run for months straight, or whatever amount of time you want Step 5: Summon Makora a few meters infront of Piercing Bull Step 6: Use Frogs to keep it in place for a second Step 7: Activate the switch, or destroy the treadmill so that Piercing Bull stops running in place Step 8: Makora recieves a bull-sized hole through their body seconds after being summoned It's as easy as that guys
Sukuna is inmune to poison so great serpent does have poison, so if we use a max elephant/nue/great serpent attack at maxmum output we could teachnally create acid (wather+eletricity= chlorine gas + poson) and with the volume of said acid thanks to max elephan we could have mahoraga not only melt but drown in it! Here is my strategy: Use rabbit scape to distract mahoraga, conbine max elephant, nue and serpent and CHARGE a attack, use pircing ox to push mahoraga to the charged acid attack and hits him with said acid 2 possibleties can happend 1st: he adapst to every thing 2nd: he dont have time to adapt to drowning, shocking, poison, chlorine gas, acid, sheer number of rabbit escape, pircong ox attack, and whatever cursed tool you have (recomended a slashing one)

I think problem why even if Megumi trained would never reach full ouput versatility or strengths of each shikigamis power and their utility is, by what we were shoen from Sukuna himself it seems that maybe requirements of Ten Shadows for having full optimization of it is curse energy/output amounts. This was my thought when i saw first time Sukuna version of Ten Shadows since, i will use example of Dagons Domain: He can split power of shikigami like how he attacked Nanami and Naobito with 80/20% meaning he could either send stronger shikigamis or more numbers of shikigami with his own limit of remains. But in Toji fight when Toji defeats two specific gigantic armored sea shikigamis Dagon said (I don't think this was true statement maybe made up?) those were his strongest ones meaning those gigantic shikigamis unlike smaller ones were made of high curse energy or output. This can be again actually shown/used as evidence by Megumi summons when he summons Mahoraga as his wild card, he maybe lose most of his curse energy for summon but with other shikigamis? Now that if we take that user itself must have high amounts of curse energy or output like Sukuna, this mean with enough fights and mastery of his own curse energy and his domain. He could access same form of shikigami like Sukuna or even just summon them in half -form like Divine dogs to not lose his shikigami. And why again i think this might be true? Agito chimera is composed of 4 shikigamis deer, tiger, nue and snake. We know Nue look very different than Megumis one so if Megumu example would try make chimera himself somehow by losing all specofic shikigamis, they would be weaker version of Sukunas Agito. Im nit sure how much would this affect or make sense for mastery of Ten Shadows but i think that is big part of it too.

the way i'd tame mahoraga may or may not work but heres how id do it nue + orochi totality to hold mahoraga in place (doesnt have to be long depending on how long before you set the ox to charge) kill rabbit escape to merge it into a piercing ox totality (now multiple of piercing ox) and store in your shadow to charge summon mahoraga getting the giant nue totality to hold mahoraga in place and release the ox in a straight line one by one
In order to beat big raga, you gotta one hit him. Piercing ox does more damage the longer it travels in a straight line. Have nue fly it up as high as you can, drop him, and summon mahoraga underneath where ox will land. If will either one hit him, or put him in critical condition. If the later, have all of the other shikigami nearby to jump him the second ox hits.
I believe Mahoraga is meant to tamed with the help of someone like Toji or Maki. Someone with a Heavenly Restriction that strips them of cursed energy completely in exchange for a superhuman body. Such people register as inanimate objects to cursed energy and so would be able to help in the subjugation ritual.
First, physical training. Dood needs to be able to keep up with Gojo in straight hands at least, maybe brainstorm how they could maximize his cursed energy manipulation. Lastly, this fight goes down in an open field with no obstructions or obstacles. Ill be taking inspiration from Sakuna's usage of the technique, since he could use the shikigami ablities without fully summoning them, Megumi should have: Automatic RCT, flight, a piercing blood type watershot, lighting manipulation, claws, and shadow manipulation. This fight must end quick, we'll start with rabbit escape to dash around Mahoraga, he will most likely blow them all away in one shot so we'll take this chance to hide in his shadow. One Pierce Watershot right to the dome, fly behind him, and decapitate him. Piercing bull who had been running since before the fight as a follow up, a full barage of lightning, and then a One-Hit kill domain expansion to finish the job.
Use maki (since she doesn't have any ce to be detected by the ritual) to assist taming mahoraga, with a pretty strong set of shikigami there's a slim chance you can tame maho, also with a few binding vows here and there, and if you're sukuna's vessel, i guess you have a better chance?
The thing with Mahoraga is that you can assume someone in the last has tried to tame it using the ten shadows. So it may already have adapted to the other Ten Shadows abilities.
Honestly Mahoraga isn’t as ridiculously powerful as people think and the anime just made it look like a complete juggernaut. 15 finger Sukuna could have one shot it by punching it with an RCT fist or immediately opening his domain first i have no problem believing you could beat Mahoraga by opening domain expansion and with a giant treadmill or something and just have piecing Ox run in place for several hours and have round deer on standby. Then inside the domain you let the ox rip right as you summon Mahoraga and if it’s somehow still kicking after hit it with Round Deer and boom done. Now if Megumi had full power Maki or Toji still around hell both? I would have them waiting with inverted spear and soul spit katana and just do the same thing but have them on standby. Inverted Spear should stop the adaptation process and the soul cutting would quickly take it out if it somehow survived the opening act and since techniques that target living things like the ritual wouldn’t recognize them boom Mahoraga acquired.
Okay so the method to tame Mahoraga that I’ve heard said is to have a big ass treadmill, summon Piercing Bull, have him run on the treadmill for 12 hours, summon maho and turn the treadmill off and let peircing bull atomize Mahoraga and boom you’ve got him tamed

never let loophole mfrs get their hands on binding vows, Piercing Ox totality but not enough to turn it bipedal, on a treadmill while spawning raga in the domain make some vow that you cant use cursed energy for the last few months and are in horrific pain with no limbs or senses (obviously you have to be put into a medical induced coma to not go insane) but when thats over you get a boost for a day, leave the ox on the treadmill for 23 hours then sacrifice all other shadows with a vow that boosts the ox for a few seconds this should give it potential man level possibilities then particle accelerator ox launches at raga while hes spawning and probably causes some atomic chain reaction but hey you have raga, just adapt.
Idea of how to tame maho. 1.)Totality: Max Elephant + Orochi + Piercing Ox. Making the shikigami massive enough so that dodging it would be very difficult, while using max elephant similarly to how Sukuna used it on Yorozu or Megumi used it on owasaka, by dropping it from an insanely high height. Since it’s a totality, aspects of the techniques are transferred over rather than all if the technique, that’s y bottomless well’s abyss can’t shoot lightning, so in this completely hypothetical, at the cost of the technique overall being weaker, it should be able to still increase power based on momentum. It’s never stated to be momentum created specifically by running, only that the momentum can only charge up in linear movement in one direction. So if this giant, heavy shikigami is falling from a crazy height, then it should still build up enough momentum to one shot Maho since it’d be large enough to do so. 2.)Totality: Nue + Max elephant + rabbit escape. Combining Nue and Max Elephant through a complete totality somehow, by killing the shikigami between the two so that the one further down can inherit the technique and power is pretty much the only way this would work. Even if a totality between the two normally creates electricity, Nue’s electricity under Megumi’s control is already not the strongest as is, so they’d need all the power they can get. Anyway, this totality should be able to shoot electric beams since Nue’s electricity + max elephant’s water has great synergy. Combining it with rabbit escape to clone the shikigami potentially multiple times would give it the AOE to destroy maho in one use of the technique. Specifically if they can get past its defenses. 3.) DE. If Megumi traps Maho in a DE, while having access to the 9 other shikigami, he should have the advantage. If only briefly. Maho would have to focus on adapting to shadows to destroy his DE, if he even can do that since it’s incomplete. Just like how he had to adapt to Liquid Metal and UV to destroy the other domains. One of which took 5 experiences to adapt to. Assuming it would take longer than one spin to adapt to shadows, Megumi has the time to surround him in shikigami. Especially clones of his already summoned ones, since he was able to clone Nue in his domain. Round deer has something that disrupts CE. If u believe adaptations is a cursed technique, then this should slow down its adaptation speed if nothing else. If not, then round deer would be useless here. Instead, he can summon copies of max elephant to drop on maho, and DDT to stall him while he prepares to hit him with piercing ox. These r pretty much the only way I see it possible, but let’s be honest, Megumi is just a bum user.

@@OtakuTalksManga Outside of the talk of Megumi’s ability as a sorcerer, I got a theory on what Tiger funeral can do. Not its power lvl, but its technique. I think it’s a stealth based shikigami. Tigers are the kings of the jungle, hunting like predators and blending into their environments very well. I think its technique is related to invisible/hard to read cursed energy. My basis behind this is ch.234, after Gojo got his arm cut, he’s seen blocking Maho’s follow up (only time be kicked by Sukuna) and had Gojo’s infinity not been there, or agito had the ability to bypass it, they would’ve 100% landed that attack. They aren’t alive long enough to do anymore, and it is a reach, but I think Gojo genuinely lost track of the beast basically because it supports my theory. Also because it would explain why Gojo couldn’t tell that Sukuna was using dismantle in ch.236. Sukuna, who’s been seen using the applications of the 10S without summoning the shinigami completely like DD against Yorozu, or max elephan’s water on Gojo. So it’s not impossible that he’d take the ability to have invisible/hard to read CE to unleash this final attack. I believe there’s ways to explain the world slash being unavoidable that don’t include this theory, I just like to argue this because again, it supports my far fetched theory.
I'd combine something with rabbit escape, such as divine dogs, because it has the trump card of not being able to destroy it, imagine one hundred mini mahos fighting you.
If Megumi survives Shinjuku showdown, and doesn't suffer massively from the most intense PTSD ever, he's gonna be the strongest sorcerer around. Sukuna already put in the cheat codes for Megumi, on a scale far better than Yuji. Some shikigami may have got destroyed, but if he uses totality on them, GGskis. Not even talking about Mahoraga, imagine he uses all the shikigami for Agito and puts them on Maximum Elephant. We are talking an even stronger and more durable shikigami, that can regenerate and heal, and combine water blasts with electricity. I'm talking beams of electricity like Darui using storm release from Naruto. Anyone not named Gojo is having a real tough time with that one.
Taming mahoraga is easy. Just charge up piercing bull while the deer does chip damage (it gets faster the longer it runs) then use max elephant to crush him for a second to open for a single shot victory. At mach 2+ it'd be like getting hit with a car-sized bullet.
Probably not true but the wheel above mahoraga is a technique, and if you put RCT in place the technique is made ineffective so from then you can fight it on sight or I think so.
This is how megumi can tame mahoroga. He goes to gojo, he say, are you really the strongest, then you can tame him, please beat him for me. Then gojo prep time himself by removing everyone in a city for the fight. Gojo wins and megumi can use mahoroga. Then sukuna goes, oh shit.
I figured out the method to beat maharaga and it’s a few simple steps 1 go buy a treadmill 2 put piercing bull on said treadmill and have it run for three weeks to be safe 3 summon maharaga and blind it using rabbit escape 4 launch piercing bull into maharaga and one shot

Use a binding vow to make make all the rabbits of rabbit escape become incredibly powerful in exchange for their lives, like mei mei's bird strike(except for the rabbit with the marking). Basically carpet bombing any foe Megumi comes against.
Im seeing lots of people saying that to tame mahoraga use piercing ox with a huge run build time but i have a different ideia So in this scenario that megumi is the head of the zenim clan its presumable that he does have a lot of resources so my plan is First buy a immense amount of remote controlled explosives Second find a cave or just a dark and open space Third setup a perimeter of remote explosives and set up camp away from the perimeter with someone with the controller for the explosion Fourth summon agito then mahoraga Sixth hide in the shadows and run while agito is fighting mahoraga Seventh despawn agito and call on the explosion whilst youre far from the area And boom its done because if the explosion are all happening at the same time there aint time to adapt And as mahoraga is a shikigami not a cursed spirit it will not become a vengeful spirit

While a 15 finger Sukuna did defeat mahoraga in the fight in the narration we’re told that Sukuna could have defeated Mahoraga with cleave if he hadn’t already used dismantle and Mahorag had already adapted to slashing attacks. Also in the fight Sukuna said Mahorga might have had a chance at beating him like he was before, and that was a three finger Sukuna (after Yuji lost control of Sukuna in season 1). Meaning three fingers is a better comparison for Mahoraga (though from sukuna’s dialogue he makes it clear he believes he’d still be stronger than Mahoraga at three fingers/that the fight is in his favor even at three fingers). I think the way the beat Mahoraga is with the domain after all domains are the most supreme form one’s technique can take. And that you prep. Summon the domain, make a bunch of piercing ox, and potentially make them a totality as well using the wolf and snake or whatever other shikigami have died. Just let the bunch build up momentum, and if it’s a completed domain which is possible for Megumi since the thing he’s missing is being able to use barrier techniques to complete his domain. A completed one would have the guaranteed hit, and just make it the totality ox and make a bunch of them, after they’ve build up enough momentum summon Mahoraga and slam all the oxen into him, and maybe also have a bunch of nue’s blast him with electricity at the same time.
I think the best way to tame mahoraga is with these 2 totalities: 1. toad and rabbit totality to immobilize maho with countless tongues. 2. bull, dogs, tiger, nue, serpent and elephant for high damage, speed, and weight. Find a really long tunnel and summon the bull totality at one end, summon maho and 1000 toads at the other end to hold him still until the bull hits maho and hopefully 1 shots.
You would have to use the snake and Nua to start the damage and then have the bull get as much power as possible to hit the finishing blow. Besides that I have no clue.
Believe the only way that i think can defeat mahoraga that isnt realiant on Binding vow or Ox on a treadmill is sacrifice every animal except 1, doesnt really matter which. Just because it would have the strenght to do it, and the variety to "ignore" adaptation. Also imagine Mahoraga x Rabbit escape shikigame. Like 50 mahoragas (weaker than normal of course) but all of their wheels are connected. So when one rabbit gets hit by Hollow purple, the adaptation for all of them will start. And if HP kills 5 Maho then its faster
I believe in order to defeat Mahoraga you need to destroy all of it at once or somehow tire it out until it can’t regenerate anymore. Both Gojo and Sukuna defeated Maho by completely obliterating it, not just destroying part of it. But I do believe there is one set up that could allow Megumi to completely obliterate Mahoraga. Megumi would need Maki armed with a sharpened version of Namami’s sword with his CT imbued into and an extreme binding bow. The plan here is to replicate how Sukuna defeated Mahoraga. Maki would not be able to be targeted by the ritual because techniques and domains consider her an object (the invisible woman). So she would be able to assist Megumi in the ritual. Maki would be awakened so her heavenly restriction would be fully active. And she would make use of Nanami’s knife with the ratio CT to ensure she cuts Mahoraga to bits with each hit. Megumi would assist with his sword and they would try to slice and dice Mahoraga slowly tiring it out and wearing it down. After pushing Mahoraga to its extreme Megumi would summon a maximum power Nue to vaporize Mahoraga, hopefully defeating it. Nue’s electrical output could be enhanced by first getting Mahoraga wet with Max Elephant and using binding vows before the battle starts. For example “I will not use my cursed technique for 60 days in exchange for my next tamed shikigami being 30 times as strong” on top of making it a totality of all his other Shikigami. Summoning this super beefed up Shikigami in his domain expansion alongside multiple copies of it to ensure maximum strength of the lighting. The real question here is if Megumi and Maki could survive long enough to do enough damage to ensure the Shikigami lighting kills Maho in 1 hit. Maki could bring more cursed tools (like playful cloud a tool which scales with the user’s strength extremely well) to alternate between in hopes of delaying Maho’s adaptation to the ratio CT but even then the battle would be close. Megumi would pretty much be locked out of using his CT except for hiding in the shadows because he needs to save his summoned Shikigami for the beefed up use of Nue’s technique. Allowing Maho to adapt to that technique even once would mean game over. The battle would be a battle of endurance and when Megumi feels Maho is low enough on health he unleashes his ultimate attack in hopes of overwhelming Mahoraga with an unexpected and unadapted new attack which would wipe it out. Similar to how Sukuna used Fuga to destroy Maho as it was being sliced up inside his domain.
One lesser known way to tame Mahograga would be to partner with a fully realized heavenly restricted user(no cursed energy), and have them use powerful cursed tools to assist whilst you charge up the ox.
How I'd go with the tst Dogs Frogs Serpent Nue Round deer Max elephant Piercing bull Mahoraga through the popular piercing bull method Mourning tiger I'm then killing mourning tiger, round deer and serpant to add to mahoraga
megumi could tame mahoraga but it has to be like this: he goes to anywhere with a straight road or a straight path, to cut out any chance of it failing I chose Saudi Arabia's Highway 10, a 256 kilometer road which is just a straight line. he evacuates the entire area(he's got connections if he's zenin clan leader, can be done) and at the start of the road summons piercing ox. he'll douse maho using elephant, stun him in place using nue and hit him with a PO that's ran 256 kilometers. if maho isn't dead yet then his only hope is some cursed tool to finish him off or if it's that deep he could spawn him in space and drop him to earth idk.
This only works if there's no upper range on how far the 10 shadows can be from the user without despawning. If there is, then he'll have to ride the bull as it reaches speeds humans are incapable of surviving and summon Mahoraga directly in front of him right at the end. Maybe he can summon the bull, go to the other end, then tell the bull to charge, then summon Mahoraga with perfect timing (very risky, hope you have a mathematician handy to tell you exactly when that bull will get there so you don't end up summoning Raga too early or late. Also, is there a delay to Mahoraga forming after the ritual? Have to factor that in too if so, but you don't get any trial rounds unless Gojo is around to take care of business while you experiment). This still requires there being no upper range on the distance the Shikigami can be from the user, and it also asks the question of just how much control 10 Shadows users have over how their Shikigami behave. Are they like an extension of their body, they will things and the Shikigami do it? Mahoraga and Sukuna suggest no, but that might just be Mahoraga, I tend to think they act at their discretion but might have an idea of what the user wants them to do, it's hard to tell though. If the bull acts at its own discretion or has to receive commands from the user vocally, then it won't know when to start charging. I think Mahoraga would probably be able to adapt gravity negation as he fell, any height you could drop him from that might kill him is probably so high he'll adapt in the middle.
what i would do is me and 8 shikigami would blaze mahoraga also i would use cursed tools and use madoka deers rct which is possible as seen when sukuna adapted through mahoraga and meanwhile maho is getting jumped piercing ox is running up and down as the more he runs the stronger his attack gets and when i think ive exausted all options i use the snake to constrict mahoraga knowing full well he will escape and the very moment he does piercing ox right to through his chest
There's a theory that taming Mahoraga requires the ten shadow user to cooperate with a person who has the Toji heavenly restriction. Theoreticaly Mahoragas ritual wouldn't recognize somebody with no CE.

Considering that Well's Bottomless Abyss didn't require Megumi to sacrifice Gama or Nue, it could be that the user can combine other Shadows in a similar fashion. Personally, I prefer the versatility of having multiple Shadows with different purposes, rather than sacrificing all of them for one heavy hitter.
Ya know when you really think about it, Sukuna's strength didn't really matter in his fight with Mahoraga. Because if he didn't have Fuga Mahoraga definitely would have adapted to his slashes and eventually beat him. It's the potent effect of the strength of his blast area effect, plus the binding vow attached to it that makes all living things and none living stings a addition catalyst for even more power. Yes it is his ability but what if the binding vows attached to it, would it still be as strong?

Before you say anything megumi using his DE can summon as many mahoraga's as he's capable of. He also seems to have the potential to be an barrierless domain meaning he can square up with 4 mahoragas with no issue something im surprised sukuna didn't attempt to do (albeit its probably not allowed for him to do this since its soul realted)
Having an actual barrier-less domain seems to be related to experiencing life without a body (both Sukuna and Kenjaku abandoned their original bodies to become souls without an outer shell). Sukuna likely can't use the ten shadows domain, only Malevolent Shrine. Since domains seem to heavily tied to the soul, and it's Megumi's domain, not Sukuna's.

It's not worth taming Maho if you're not fighting sorcerers like Gojo or Sukuna. If you're just a lucky guy with 10S and all you do is kill curses and deal with the occasional curse user, Maho is always better off as a last-report trump card when all else fails. Not just that, but RCT users are canonically extremely rare, and RCT users who can use it on others for healing purposes are even rarer. Looking at it from a wider perspective than just getting stronger as a sorcerer, subjecting yourself to Maho's ritual is just not worth the squeeze if you have Tranquil Deer alone.
The real question is if the rabbits are combined with a shikigami does that allow them to multiply? Because if so I could see that giving them a chance to beat maharaga
Don't you think Gege gave up very easily with the 10 shadows technique? It sucks having to take care of the shikigami from dying, and if they all die then you have nothing, it's not the same as cursed spirit manipulation, if they destroy your curses then you can always get more, but the 10 shadows can't do that I thought Gege was going to include a resurrection element to the technique (maximum technique perhaps) but Sukuna apparently gave up on the technique, and Megumi is trash as a sorcerer, so I don't expect anything from him

Please, let's stop clowning on Megumi. There is a cursed energy quantity problem that has to be bridged before he can summon the shinigami Sukuna was able to reveal. We already know that Megumi finds it hard to summon Max elephant and even pull off an incomplete domain back to back. Let's give the brother a break. If he is allowed to mature to Gojo's age and is still unable to match Gojo, then we can say he is a bum. At this point in time however, he is just as strong or even stronger than pre-awakened teen Gojo because he already has a domain expansion while pre-awakening Teen Gojo did not. Note that if Megumi also gains reversed cursed energy like teen Gojo did, this will add more features to his technique. It will likely unlock more mechanics, perhaps an ability to even enslave new shikigami, more applications of the shadows, reviving "dead" shikigami, etc.

its actually quite easy to get mahoraga.
Binding vows make it crazy easy since there is no apparent limit to how much you can sacrifice and gain from them. you simply use a crazy version of Nanamis overtime vow. you also use full chants and hand signs on everything for that extra boost in output.
Getting the ox on easy mode:
1. binding vow to limit your cursed energy output for month to 10% but you get 500% output for 24 hours once the month is over
2. summon the ox
3. fly above it on nue
4. distract it with rabbit escape and drop max elephants on it every now and then
5. repeat step 4 until you have the ox
Getting Mahoraga on easy mode:
1. Fuse the ox with nue so it can fly
2. if there is a cap on how much extra damage the ox can get from charging then Binding vow that removes the cap in exchange for charging slower or less durability
3. binding vow that the ox is slower but it charges up faster
4. binding vow to limit your cursed energy output for month to 10% but you get 500% output for 24 hours once the month is over
5. look for a spot where the ox totality can travel a long range uninterupted, probably over the sea through flying
6. test out how long it takes to charge and time it perfectly
7. place it down with 500% output and fly with a plane back to where you wanna fight mahoraga, along the way you start the ox totality charging
8. once you arrive at the battleground you wait for the ox totality to be in vision
9. summon mahoraga in the line in which the ox travels
10. mahoraga has no time to react and gets one tapped
Edit: The fact that "Maximum output" Techniques exists implies that sorcerers not only dont use their full output on most techniques but also that sorcerers can controls how much Output they use on their techniques. Logically this means you wouldnt be forced to summon mahoraga at 500% output if you have some level of cursed energy control. However if this isnt true then as a commenter stated, you could probably just binding vow your way out of it so mahoraga is only at regular strength.

So my idea for taming Maho is a bit headcanon-y but essentially you start by merging nue and piercing ox with totality to combine their abilities. Essentially creating a flying freight train whose output increases the further it travels. Then you're going to use the snake to coil around big raga the moment it's summoned, while using your domain's shadow manipulation to create numerous copies of them, allowing them to basically overwhelm and briefly submerge raga into the shadows. While it's fighting to get out (and likely occupying its adaptation with the new problematic phenomena), you have your nue/ox fly farther and farther away for as long as you possibly can. Then you're going to have them fly in a straight line, dive bombing directly toward your location while wreathing themselves in their electricity. Just as Mahoraga would escape, you drop your domain's barrier to let Nue/ox in, and they literally turn into a kamikaze lightning explosion that would HOPEFULLY obliterate Mahoraga and thus tame it.
The big draw here would be that you would need to hit it with something completely new, and kill it in one shot so its regen and adaptation can't kick in. Thus, the snakes are designed to grapple and restrain, but not damage. That way Mahoraga is baited into adapting to the restricting effects, rather than something like blunt force or anything of that sort. This should allow you your best odds to one shot it with your piercing ox kamikaze attack.
Assuming the best, bam you've tamed big raga. Now the best thing you could reasonably do for yourself would be to sacrifice ALL of your other shikigami and use totality to merge them all into Mahoraga. Since it'd have rabbit escape's ability, you can now summon thousands of mahoragas that start with all of the abilities of the other shikigami while also being able to rapidly adapt to get stronger. With rabbit escape's powers, you never even have to risk totality mahoraga since you can keep the original shrouded in your shadows while it sends clones to fight on your behalf, possibly even adapting continuously as its clones fight and experience phenomena on its behalf.
The plan is very good, but you could go a little further with maintaining ox for a while so it builds up speed before the fight, bindin vows to up your output and a sacrificial pact to further boost ox.
As for the totality, I think there is a set number of shikigami that goes into each totality, so you would lose a lot of your flexibility by killing all of your shikigami.
Nah, there's a chance that rabbit escape just wouldn't give the shikigami the ability to multiply. Thus, sacrifice everything but rabbit escape and you get infinite big flying electric snake rabbits that can shoot water, heal, adapt to things, and they gain power the longer they run. Don't forget, the rabbits are also naturally full of fighting spirit as shown when they ran the ones with Toji.
It would be interesting to see rabbit escape fused with another Shikigami
I'd personally see if I could fuse it with Round Deer to create a Jackalope that is able to constantly multiple and output RCT simultaneously

Pretty much any shadow with the rabbit escape could be absolutely busted, at some point even if the individual potential of each fusion is halved you can just bust out 10-20 of them and you pretty much control the battlefield, not saying it alone is s grade potential but you could make a lot of hrade ones have a run for their money
The fact that Megumi had both the frog and Rabbit Escape and didn't just fuse them together with the Serpent day one to make a Hydra is the reason why he's a bum in my book.

I've heard the theory that Heavenly Restriction in the Zenin clan is meant to make taming Mahoraga possible.
Because Maki doesn't have cursed energy, she's not part of the taming ritual. So she can cut up Mahoraga with SSK while Megumi finishes hom off with a big hit (piercing ox at full power should be able to do it if his soul is damaged), and boom. Mahoraga is tamed.
I think there are two main strategies for megumi to tame mahoraga, based on what we have in jjk up till now :
1- You use the ox. Summon the totality ox fused with all the offensive shikigamis to improve his damage. A week, a month or even more time prior you summon it and give it a long time to charge his run. At the last time, when the totality ox has charged for who knows how much, you summon mahoraga already in the domain where you swarm and blind him with the shadows and when he is occupied with the adaptation of dealing with a huge mass of week mobs you make the ox hit mahoraga. Based on how much you let it charge it should be able to one shot mahoraga. If needed, binding vows can be made to make the totality ox faster and stronger or even able to run in a not straight line.
2- You basically use the inverted spear of heaven to neutralize the adaptation technique of mahoraga. This strategy depends on if the process of adaptation is considered a technique by the cursed tool or if it is considered a smaller part of the 10 shadows ct. To be fair, it depends on the rules gege set for this ct but if that cursed tool can be used than it's easy. Again, summon mahoraga in the domain, swarm it with all the other shadows, "debuff" it this way and at that point depends on how long you can sustain the domain. If you can keep it up until mahoraga dies you're good
This presumes that if you layers 2 CT’s on top of each other that only one would stop the ritual would more than likely end if hit with isoh

Here's how to tame Mahoraga (Ya'll keep forgetting how broken binding vows are)
Combine Nue and Piercing Ox. Make a binding vow where the Ox's ability allows it to fly in circles rather than running in a straight line, but it takes a bit longer to build up power. Use evasions and distraction tactics to draw Mahoraga's attention for as long as possible but DO NOT hit it with any blunt force attacks or cause it to adapt the ability to fly. When the time is right, call down Nue-Ox to smash Mahoraga into chunks. Finally, activate a 2nd Binding Vow that sacrifices Nue-Ox in exchange for one final ungodly lightning attack to erase the rest of Mahoraga's remains that might regenerate.

Gojo mentioned that a Limitless user and a 10S user both killed each other in a duel, likely because of Mahoraga. In that case, Mahoraga should already have adapted to Limitless prior to fighting Sukuna battling Gojo

I think the secret of beating Big Raga is a technicality of the '1v1' rule. The zenin clan has two famous 'hereditary techniques'. The 10 shadows and 'sealed CT' Heavenly Restriction. We have seen the fact that Toji and Maki aren't affected by barriers. They probably aren't considered participants in the taming ritual. We know the other 9 shadows combined aren't enough. My current theory is that 10:47 is close to it... Raga's taming is suppose to be done by the 10S user combined with the heavenly restricted of the zenin (plural, maki and toji were alive at the same time). Problem is, the zenin are discriminatory af and hate their restricted homies. They have been exiled and possibly 💀💀💀. Everyone else is is relying on whatever the limit of BVs are or stall for bull. BVs are whatever gege decides, 10S on its own doesn't have enough stall to hit 1 shot raga range. But what about Rabbit + like 5 tojis with different weapons (can't adapt, no CE so invisible with rabbit smokescreen). Use the support shadows to keep everyone alive (deer, rabbit, toad). Nue stun as your lifeline and just rotate through attacks until big raga is done (with bull last). Minimum casualties and solves the running out of gas problem. ggwp

Mahoraga needs to be hit to begin his adaptation so I think you'd gave to use piercing ox running over a long ass distance then the moment you summon mahoraga round deer toad orochi fusion to bind him down so he has to take the piercing ox hit maybe if nue was fused to ox it could like skydive to get the needed distance

mahoraga is easier to beat if you know how his abilities work. assuming megumi doesn’t know how mahoraga’s adaptation works, once he’s tamed every other shikigami, he could ask gojo to interfere with the taming ritual for him to properly test what mahoraga is capable of. once he knows, and knows what all of his shikigami are capable of, he could create a totality of all his shikigami except rabbit escape and his toads. he would have to find a very large enclosed space, summon mahoraga, immediately pop domain so that everything i do next is enhanced to 120%, release rabbit escape then slip into the shadows and release his toads and his totality. while the toads restrain mahoraga and rabbit escape distracts him the totality would use max elephants ability to fill the domain with water, and once that was done charge from as far as possible at mahoraga. and as soon as the totality makes impact i would have it release all its lightning from nue to cause an explosion like kashimo did against hakari to destroy whatever remained after getting crushed with piercing ox’s technique. hopefully the totality would be able to survive the explosion itself due to round deers healing. agito, although not able to touch gojo was low end relative to mahoraga with just 4 shikigami fused. 7 of the 10 shadows should be enough to actually put it down with the right strategy, especially with a domain boost. hopefully he could even release rabbit escape and the toads before the impact so he can keep them because they’re better as just stand alone shikigami imo.

Great vid, always appreciate when people aren't blindly hating on Megumi, but there's a couple of thing that are not true/could be different.
1. Totalities need at least one living shikigami to work.
2. Tiger Funeral would probably not be a stronger Divine Dogs, Totality does that already. It would probably work for defense, like a simple domain or an area with a vow of nonviolence as tigers are a symbol of protection and good luck.
3. Gojo is there, you can do test runs with the taming ritual with a safety net.
4. Binding vows are crazy good and you can increase your output massively with a sacrificial pact.
5. Tranquil Deer deactivates cursed tools while they are in it's area of effect.
6. Get a busted ass cursed tool and/or a person without ct (because they're an inanimate object from the technique's point of view) make a ton of binding vows, a sacrificial pact and let piercing ox run on a specialized treadmill for a couple hours. Then summon Mahoraga, weaken him with the cursed tools (bonus points if they have a complicated effect that takes a while to adapt to) and unleash a sacrificial pact boosted Piercing Ox when Mahoraga is looking bad.
You can store the ox in the shadows and just spawn it in from the shadows to one hit KO Mahoraga, or if you fuse orochi and nue, flood the area with the max elephant and then with the nue+orochi fry him, and use the deer to RCT the Mahoraga since it is a construct made of cursed energy. Or just store something heavy in the shadows and drop it on Mahoraga, idk
how to 10 shadow, farm xp to get stronger make a 9 shadow totality, figure out how to make you the host of the power, find some loophole for raga to allow more than 1 person to fight him, win, become realized potential man.

A fusion of Nue(or the serpent as a road if flying wont work) and the bull could probably ko anything given enough time since it would have more room to run, and a fusion of the toad and rabbits could restrain/distract an opponent for the nue bull. So the main problem with taming Mahoraga is you would need to make sure it doesnt have time to adapt to the nue bulls attack before its ready.
I've been saying this since forever, but I think that combining Piercing Bull and Nue would be the BEST combo possible. Especially for subjugating Mahoraga. PB's biggest weakness, is that it needs to run in order to build up power, and obstancles can very easily disrupt this power. An enemy can dodge, the Bull can trip, it can't get solid footing like from a flood, or it doesn't have enough space to run. With Nue and Bull combining, you eliminate 90% of those weaknesses, while gaining a massive boost to charge time and evasion prevention. By transforming running into flying, you no longer have to worry about terrain obstacles. Plus, flying is faster than running, so the attack charges power quicker than running. With the extra speed, it also become harder to dodge, not to mention that it can attack from ANYWHERE above, and not just in straight predictable lines. The only downside is that it can't really be used indoors as much anymore, but that was already a major handicap for bull anyway with nowhere to run around inside to build up power.
So here's my idea for taming Mahoraga. Summon Bull/Nue totality, and have it fly around to build up speed for AS LONG AS YOU CAN. Then summon a max elephant to flood the arena, along with some frogs and rabbits. Then you summon Mahoraga into the water, and immediately have the rabbits and frogs restrict his movement. Then RIGHT AFTER (or even right before if you time it well) Mahoraga's been summoned, you then have Nue/Bull comit an orbital bombardment on Mahoraga's ass killing him instantly. Maybe also using frogs and rabbits to escape right as you summon him to escape Bull/Nue's mega nuke attack.
Just my 3 cents.
Edit* you could also probably use binding vows, but I don't care about them right now. Rather another idea, is that you could also trap Mahoraga inside the domain, and then maybe have Nue/Ox break into the domain from the outside and hitting Mahoraga.
Edit 2* Combining Deer with Rabbit might also be OP. Imagine having a hundred Jackalopes running around outputting RCT for you and all your friends.
Here's my idea to tame Makora:
Step 1: Make one of those cat treadmills that let them run for as long as they feel like it,
Step 2: Add some sort of switch so it can stop or be destroyed
Step 3: Summon Piercing Bull
Step 4: Let Piercing Bull run for months straight, or whatever amount of time you want
Step 5: Summon Makora a few meters infront of Piercing Bull
Step 6: Use Frogs to keep it in place for a second
Step 7: Activate the switch, or destroy the treadmill so that Piercing Bull stops running in place
Step 8: Makora recieves a bull-sized hole through their body seconds after being summoned
It's as easy as that guys
Sukuna is inmune to poison so great serpent does have poison, so if we use a max elephant/nue/great serpent attack at maxmum output we could teachnally create acid (wather+eletricity= chlorine gas + poson) and with the volume of said acid thanks to max elephan we could have mahoraga not only melt but drown in it!
Here is my strategy:
Use rabbit scape to distract mahoraga, conbine max elephant, nue and serpent and CHARGE a attack, use pircing ox to push mahoraga to the charged acid attack and hits him with said acid
2 possibleties can happend
1st: he adapst to every thing
2nd: he dont have time to adapt to drowning, shocking, poison, chlorine gas, acid, sheer number of rabbit escape, pircong ox attack, and whatever cursed tool you have (recomended a slashing one)

I think problem why even if Megumi trained would never reach full ouput versatility or strengths of each shikigamis power and their utility is, by what we were shoen from Sukuna himself it seems that maybe requirements of Ten Shadows for having full optimization of it is curse energy/output amounts.
This was my thought when i saw first time Sukuna version of Ten Shadows since, i will use example of Dagons Domain: He can split power of shikigami like how he attacked Nanami and Naobito with 80/20% meaning he could either send stronger shikigamis or more numbers of shikigami with his own limit of remains.
But in Toji fight when Toji defeats two specific gigantic armored sea shikigamis Dagon said (I don't think this was true statement maybe made up?) those were his strongest ones meaning those gigantic shikigamis unlike smaller ones were made of high curse energy or output.
This can be again actually shown/used as evidence by Megumi summons when he summons Mahoraga as his wild card, he maybe lose most of his curse energy for summon but with other shikigamis?
Now that if we take that user itself must have high amounts of curse energy or output like Sukuna, this mean with enough fights and mastery of his own curse energy and his domain.
He could access same form of shikigami like Sukuna or even just summon them in half -form like Divine dogs to not lose his shikigami.
And why again i think this might be true? Agito chimera is composed of 4 shikigamis deer, tiger, nue and snake. We know Nue look very different than Megumis one so if Megumu example would try make chimera himself somehow by losing all specofic shikigamis, they would be weaker version of Sukunas Agito.
Im nit sure how much would this affect or make sense for mastery of Ten Shadows but i think that is big part of it too.

nue + orochi totality to hold mahoraga in place (doesnt have to be long depending on how long before you set the ox to charge)
kill rabbit escape to merge it into a piercing ox totality (now multiple of piercing ox) and store in your shadow to charge
summon mahoraga getting the giant nue totality to hold mahoraga in place and release the ox in a straight line one by one
In order to beat big raga, you gotta one hit him. Piercing ox does more damage the longer it travels in a straight line. Have nue fly it up as high as you can, drop him, and summon mahoraga underneath where ox will land. If will either one hit him, or put him in critical condition. If the later, have all of the other shikigami nearby to jump him the second ox hits.
I believe Mahoraga is meant to tamed with the help of someone like Toji or Maki. Someone with a Heavenly Restriction that strips them of cursed energy completely in exchange for a superhuman body. Such people register as inanimate objects to cursed energy and so would be able to help in the subjugation ritual.
First, physical training. Dood needs to be able to keep up with Gojo in straight hands at least, maybe brainstorm how they could maximize his cursed energy manipulation. Lastly, this fight goes down in an open field with no obstructions or obstacles. Ill be taking inspiration from Sakuna's usage of the technique, since he could use the shikigami ablities without fully summoning them, Megumi should have: Automatic RCT, flight, a piercing blood type watershot, lighting manipulation, claws, and shadow manipulation. This fight must end quick, we'll start with rabbit escape to dash around Mahoraga, he will most likely blow them all away in one shot so we'll take this chance to hide in his shadow. One Pierce Watershot right to the dome, fly behind him, and decapitate him. Piercing bull who had been running since before the fight as a follow up, a full barage of lightning, and then a One-Hit kill domain expansion to finish the job.
Use maki (since she doesn't have any ce to be detected by the ritual) to assist taming mahoraga, with a pretty strong set of shikigami there's a slim chance you can tame maho, also with a few binding vows here and there, and if you're sukuna's vessel, i guess you have a better chance?
The thing with Mahoraga is that you can assume someone in the last has tried to tame it using the ten shadows. So it may already have adapted to the other Ten Shadows abilities.

Honestly Mahoraga isn’t as ridiculously powerful as people think and the anime just made it look like a complete juggernaut.
15 finger Sukuna could have one shot it by punching it with an RCT fist or immediately opening his domain first
i have no problem believing you could beat Mahoraga by opening domain expansion and with a giant treadmill or something and just have piecing Ox run in place for several hours and have round deer on standby. Then inside the domain you let the ox rip right as you summon Mahoraga and if it’s somehow still kicking after hit it with Round Deer and boom done.
Now if Megumi had full power Maki or Toji still around hell both? I would have them waiting with inverted spear and soul spit katana and just do the same thing but have them on standby.
Inverted Spear should stop the adaptation process and the soul cutting would quickly take it out if it somehow survived the opening act and since techniques that target living things like the ritual wouldn’t recognize them boom Mahoraga acquired.
Just wait till Megumi eats Suckuna
Okay so the method to tame Mahoraga that I’ve heard said is to have a big ass treadmill, summon Piercing Bull, have him run on the treadmill for 12 hours, summon maho and turn the treadmill off and let peircing bull atomize Mahoraga and boom you’ve got him tamed

never let loophole mfrs get their hands on binding vows, Piercing Ox totality but not enough to turn it bipedal, on a treadmill while spawning raga in the domain make some vow that you cant use cursed energy for the last few months and are in horrific pain with no limbs or senses (obviously you have to be put into a medical induced coma to not go insane) but when thats over you get a boost for a day, leave the ox on the treadmill for 23 hours then sacrifice all other shadows with a vow that boosts the ox for a few seconds this should give it potential man level possibilities then particle accelerator ox launches at raga while hes spawning and probably causes some atomic chain reaction but hey you have raga, just adapt.

Idea of how to tame maho.
1.)Totality: Max Elephant + Orochi + Piercing Ox. Making the shikigami massive enough so that dodging it would be very difficult, while using max elephant similarly to how Sukuna used it on Yorozu or Megumi used it on owasaka, by dropping it from an insanely high height. Since it’s a totality, aspects of the techniques are transferred over rather than all if the technique, that’s y bottomless well’s abyss can’t shoot lightning, so in this completely hypothetical, at the cost of the technique overall being weaker, it should be able to still increase power based on momentum. It’s never stated to be momentum created specifically by running, only that the momentum can only charge up in linear movement in one direction. So if this giant, heavy shikigami is falling from a crazy height, then it should still build up enough momentum to one shot Maho since it’d be large enough to do so.
2.)Totality: Nue + Max elephant + rabbit escape. Combining Nue and Max Elephant through a complete totality somehow, by killing the shikigami between the two so that the one further down can inherit the technique and power is pretty much the only way this would work. Even if a totality between the two normally creates electricity, Nue’s electricity under Megumi’s control is already not the strongest as is, so they’d need all the power they can get. Anyway, this totality should be able to shoot electric beams since Nue’s electricity + max elephant’s water has great synergy. Combining it with rabbit escape to clone the shikigami potentially multiple times would give it the AOE to destroy maho in one use of the technique. Specifically if they can get past its defenses.
3.) DE. If Megumi traps Maho in a DE, while having access to the 9 other shikigami, he should have the advantage. If only briefly. Maho would have to focus on adapting to shadows to destroy his DE, if he even can do that since it’s incomplete. Just like how he had to adapt to Liquid Metal and UV to destroy the other domains. One of which took 5 experiences to adapt to. Assuming it would take longer than one spin to adapt to shadows, Megumi has the time to surround him in shikigami. Especially clones of his already summoned ones, since he was able to clone Nue in his domain. Round deer has something that disrupts CE. If u believe adaptations is a cursed technique, then this should slow down its adaptation speed if nothing else. If not, then round deer would be useless here. Instead, he can summon copies of max elephant to drop on maho, and DDT to stall him while he prepares to hit him with piercing ox.
These r pretty much the only way I see it possible, but let’s be honest, Megumi is just a bum user.

Outside of the talk of Megumi’s ability as a sorcerer, I got a theory on what Tiger funeral can do. Not its power lvl, but its technique. I think it’s a stealth based shikigami. Tigers are the kings of the jungle, hunting like predators and blending into their environments very well. I think its technique is related to invisible/hard to read cursed energy. My basis behind this is ch.234, after Gojo got his arm cut, he’s seen blocking Maho’s follow up (only time be kicked by Sukuna) and had Gojo’s infinity not been there, or agito had the ability to bypass it, they would’ve 100% landed that attack. They aren’t alive long enough to do anymore, and it is a reach, but I think Gojo genuinely lost track of the beast basically because it supports my theory. Also because it would explain why Gojo couldn’t tell that Sukuna was using dismantle in ch.236. Sukuna, who’s been seen using the applications of the 10S without summoning the shinigami completely like DD against Yorozu, or max elephan’s water on Gojo. So it’s not impossible that he’d take the ability to have invisible/hard to read CE to unleash this final attack.
I believe there’s ways to explain the world slash being unavoidable that don’t include this theory, I just like to argue this because again, it supports my far fetched theory.

I'd combine something with rabbit escape, such as divine dogs, because it has the trump card of not being able to destroy it, imagine one hundred mini mahos fighting you.
If Megumi survives Shinjuku showdown, and doesn't suffer massively from the most intense PTSD ever, he's gonna be the strongest sorcerer around. Sukuna already put in the cheat codes for Megumi, on a scale far better than Yuji. Some shikigami may have got destroyed, but if he uses totality on them, GGskis. Not even talking about Mahoraga, imagine he uses all the shikigami for Agito and puts them on Maximum Elephant. We are talking an even stronger and more durable shikigami, that can regenerate and heal, and combine water blasts with electricity. I'm talking beams of electricity like Darui using storm release from Naruto. Anyone not named Gojo is having a real tough time with that one.
Taming mahoraga is easy. Just charge up piercing bull while the deer does chip damage (it gets faster the longer it runs) then use max elephant to crush him for a second to open for a single shot victory. At mach 2+ it'd be like getting hit with a car-sized bullet.
Probably not true but the wheel above mahoraga is a technique, and if you put RCT in place the technique is made ineffective so from then you can fight it on sight or I think so.
This is how megumi can tame mahoroga. He goes to gojo, he say, are you really the strongest, then you can tame him, please beat him for me.
Then gojo prep time himself by removing everyone in a city for the fight.
Gojo wins and megumi can use mahoroga.
Then sukuna goes, oh shit.
I figured out the method to beat maharaga and it’s a few simple steps
1 go buy a treadmill
2 put piercing bull on said treadmill and have it run for three weeks to be safe
3 summon maharaga and blind it using rabbit escape
4 launch piercing bull into maharaga and one shot
That treadmill at the end is functioning entirely on hopes and dreams.

Use a binding vow to make make all the rabbits of rabbit escape become incredibly powerful in exchange for their lives, like mei mei's bird strike(except for the rabbit with the marking). Basically carpet bombing any foe Megumi comes against.
Im seeing lots of people saying that to tame mahoraga use piercing ox with a huge run build time but i have a different ideia
So in this scenario that megumi is the head of the zenim clan its presumable that he does have a lot of resources so my plan is
First buy a immense amount of remote controlled explosives
Second find a cave or just a dark and open space
Third setup a perimeter of remote explosives and set up camp away from the perimeter with someone with the controller for the explosion
Fourth summon agito then mahoraga
Sixth hide in the shadows and run while agito is fighting mahoraga
Seventh despawn agito and call on the explosion whilst youre far from the area
And boom its done because if the explosion are all happening at the same time there aint time to adapt
And as mahoraga is a shikigami not a cursed spirit it will not become a vengeful spirit

While a 15 finger Sukuna did defeat mahoraga in the fight in the narration we’re told that Sukuna could have defeated Mahoraga with cleave if he hadn’t already used dismantle and Mahorag had already adapted to slashing attacks.
Also in the fight Sukuna said Mahorga might have had a chance at beating him like he was before, and that was a three finger Sukuna (after Yuji lost control of Sukuna in season 1). Meaning three fingers is a better comparison for Mahoraga (though from sukuna’s dialogue he makes it clear he believes he’d still be stronger than Mahoraga at three fingers/that the fight is in his favor even at three fingers).
I think the way the beat Mahoraga is with the domain after all domains are the most supreme form one’s technique can take. And that you prep. Summon the domain, make a bunch of piercing ox, and potentially make them a totality as well using the wolf and snake or whatever other shikigami have died.
Just let the bunch build up momentum, and if it’s a completed domain which is possible for Megumi since the thing he’s missing is being able to use barrier techniques to complete his domain. A completed one would have the guaranteed hit, and just make it the totality ox and make a bunch of them, after they’ve build up enough momentum summon Mahoraga and slam all the oxen into him, and maybe also have a bunch of nue’s blast him with electricity at the same time.
Bull + treadmill + prep time
I think the best way to tame mahoraga is with these 2 totalities: 1. toad and rabbit totality to immobilize maho with countless tongues. 2. bull, dogs, tiger, nue, serpent and elephant for high damage, speed, and weight. Find a really long tunnel and summon the bull totality at one end, summon maho and 1000 toads at the other end to hold him still until the bull hits maho and hopefully 1 shots.
You would have to use the snake and Nua to start the damage and then have the bull get as much power as possible to hit the finishing blow. Besides that I have no clue.
Believe the only way that i think can defeat mahoraga that isnt realiant on Binding vow or Ox on a treadmill is sacrifice every animal except 1, doesnt really matter which. Just because it would have the strenght to do it, and the variety to "ignore" adaptation.
Also imagine Mahoraga x Rabbit escape shikigame. Like 50 mahoragas (weaker than normal of course) but all of their wheels are connected. So when one rabbit gets hit by Hollow purple, the adaptation for all of them will start. And if HP kills 5 Maho then its faster

I believe in order to defeat Mahoraga you need to destroy all of it at once or somehow tire it out until it can’t regenerate anymore. Both Gojo and Sukuna defeated Maho by completely obliterating it, not just destroying part of it. But I do believe there is one set up that could allow Megumi to completely obliterate Mahoraga. Megumi would need Maki armed with a sharpened version of Namami’s sword with his CT imbued into and an extreme binding bow. The plan here is to replicate how Sukuna defeated Mahoraga. Maki would not be able to be targeted by the ritual because techniques and domains consider her an object (the invisible woman). So she would be able to assist Megumi in the ritual. Maki would be awakened so her heavenly restriction would be fully active. And she would make use of Nanami’s knife with the ratio CT to ensure she cuts Mahoraga to bits with each hit. Megumi would assist with his sword and they would try to slice and dice Mahoraga slowly tiring it out and wearing it down. After pushing Mahoraga to its extreme Megumi would summon a maximum power Nue to vaporize Mahoraga, hopefully defeating it. Nue’s electrical output could be enhanced by first getting Mahoraga wet with Max Elephant and using binding vows before the battle starts. For example “I will not use my cursed technique for 60 days in exchange for my next tamed shikigami being 30 times as strong” on top of making it a totality of all his other Shikigami. Summoning this super beefed up Shikigami in his domain expansion alongside multiple copies of it to ensure maximum strength of the lighting. The real question here is if Megumi and Maki could survive long enough to do enough damage to ensure the Shikigami lighting kills Maho in 1 hit. Maki could bring more cursed tools (like playful cloud a tool which scales with the user’s strength extremely well) to alternate between in hopes of delaying Maho’s adaptation to the ratio CT but even then the battle would be close. Megumi would pretty much be locked out of using his CT except for hiding in the shadows because he needs to save his summoned Shikigami for the beefed up use of Nue’s technique. Allowing Maho to adapt to that technique even once would mean game over. The battle would be a battle of endurance and when Megumi feels Maho is low enough on health he unleashes his ultimate attack in hopes of overwhelming Mahoraga with an unexpected and unadapted new attack which would wipe it out. Similar to how Sukuna used Fuga to destroy Maho as it was being sliced up inside his domain.

One lesser known way to tame Mahograga would be to partner with a fully realized heavenly restricted user(no cursed energy), and have them use powerful cursed tools to assist whilst you charge up the ox.

megumi could tame mahoraga but it has to be like this:
he goes to anywhere with a straight road or a straight path, to cut out any chance of it failing I chose Saudi Arabia's Highway 10, a 256 kilometer road which is just a straight line.
he evacuates the entire area(he's got connections if he's zenin clan leader, can be done) and at the start of the road summons piercing ox. he'll douse maho using elephant, stun him in place using nue and hit him with a PO that's ran 256 kilometers.
if maho isn't dead yet then his only hope is some cursed tool to finish him off or if it's that deep he could spawn him in space and drop him to earth idk.
This only works if there's no upper range on how far the 10 shadows can be from the user without despawning. If there is, then he'll have to ride the bull as it reaches speeds humans are incapable of surviving and summon Mahoraga directly in front of him right at the end. Maybe he can summon the bull, go to the other end, then tell the bull to charge, then summon Mahoraga with perfect timing (very risky, hope you have a mathematician handy to tell you exactly when that bull will get there so you don't end up summoning Raga too early or late. Also, is there a delay to Mahoraga forming after the ritual? Have to factor that in too if so, but you don't get any trial rounds unless Gojo is around to take care of business while you experiment).
This still requires there being no upper range on the distance the Shikigami can be from the user, and it also asks the question of just how much control 10 Shadows users have over how their Shikigami behave. Are they like an extension of their body, they will things and the Shikigami do it? Mahoraga and Sukuna suggest no, but that might just be Mahoraga, I tend to think they act at their discretion but might have an idea of what the user wants them to do, it's hard to tell though. If the bull acts at its own discretion or has to receive commands from the user vocally, then it won't know when to start charging.
I think Mahoraga would probably be able to adapt gravity negation as he fell, any height you could drop him from that might kill him is probably so high he'll adapt in the middle.

what i would do is me and 8 shikigami would blaze mahoraga also i would use cursed tools and use madoka deers rct which is possible as seen when sukuna adapted through mahoraga and meanwhile maho is getting jumped piercing ox is running up and down as the more he runs the stronger his attack gets and when i think ive exausted all options i use the snake to constrict mahoraga knowing full well he will escape and the very moment he does piercing ox right to through his chest

If I remember correctly, doesn’t megumi mention that you have to solo mahoraga to tame it? That’s why he doesn’t just have it after sukuna blasted it.

There's a theory that taming Mahoraga requires the ten shadow user to cooperate with a person who has the Toji heavenly restriction. Theoreticaly Mahoragas ritual wouldn't recognize somebody with no CE.

Considering that Well's Bottomless Abyss didn't require Megumi to sacrifice Gama or Nue, it could be that the user can combine other Shadows in a similar fashion. Personally, I prefer the versatility of having multiple Shadows with different purposes, rather than sacrificing all of them for one heavy hitter.
Ya know when you really think about it, Sukuna's strength didn't really matter in his fight with Mahoraga. Because if he didn't have Fuga Mahoraga definitely would have adapted to his slashes and eventually beat him. It's the potent effect of the strength of his blast area effect, plus the binding vow attached to it that makes all living things and none living stings a addition catalyst for even more power. Yes it is his ability but what if the binding vows attached to it, would it still be as strong?

Put Mahoraga in a domain expansion have a bunch of bunnies or toads restrict his movement while piercing bull charges up and when he charges enough send him at Mahoraga and hope it was enough of a charge time

Before you say anything megumi using his DE can summon as many mahoraga's as he's capable of. He also seems to have the potential to be an barrierless domain meaning he can square up with 4 mahoragas with no issue

Having an actual barrier-less domain seems to be related to experiencing life without a body (both Sukuna and Kenjaku abandoned their original bodies to become souls without an outer shell). Sukuna likely can't use the ten shadows domain, only Malevolent Shrine. Since domains seem to heavily tied to the soul, and it's Megumi's domain, not Sukuna's.

It's not worth taming Maho if you're not fighting sorcerers like Gojo or Sukuna. If you're just a lucky guy with 10S and all you do is kill curses and deal with the occasional curse user, Maho is always better off as a last-report trump card when all else fails. Not just that, but RCT users are canonically extremely rare, and RCT users who can use it on others for healing purposes are even rarer. Looking at it from a wider perspective than just getting stronger as a sorcerer, subjecting yourself to Maho's ritual is just not worth the squeeze if you have Tranquil Deer alone.

It sucks having to take care of the shikigami from dying, and if they all die then you have nothing, it's not the same as cursed spirit manipulation, if they destroy your curses then you can always get more, but the 10 shadows can't do that
I thought Gege was going to include a resurrection element to the technique (maximum technique perhaps) but Sukuna apparently gave up on the technique, and Megumi is trash as a sorcerer, so I don't expect anything from him

I think the discussion here is knowing what Sukuna meant by functionality: if the technique was no longer useful to him without Mahoraga, or if he tried to use it but it didn't work (which would be strange because there were still shikigami alive: the divine dog, piercing ox, the toads, max elephant and rabbit escape)

Please, let's stop clowning on Megumi. There is a cursed energy quantity problem that has to be bridged before he can summon the shinigami Sukuna was able to reveal. We already know that Megumi finds it hard to summon Max elephant and even pull off an incomplete domain back to back. Let's give the brother a break.
If he is allowed to mature to Gojo's age and is still unable to match Gojo, then we can say he is a bum. At this point in time however, he is just as strong or even stronger than pre-awakened teen Gojo because he already has a domain expansion while pre-awakening Teen Gojo did not.
Note that if Megumi also gains reversed cursed energy like teen Gojo did, this will add more features to his technique. It will likely unlock more mechanics, perhaps an ability to even enslave new shikigami, more applications of the shadows, reviving "dead" shikigami, etc.
