    Thanks for doing a SBC. i'm so sick of the LS stuff. LS and sticking a Coal Rolling Diesel in a car etc. have been way over done. This week on "i have no clue garage" were going to put a 12 Valve Cummins in a Vega and tune in next week were going to stuff an LS in a Shriners Go Cart. What wrong with a SBC ? not a darned thing.

    • @Phil-rs5wl
      @Phil-rs5wl Před 3 lety +8

      SBC's are awesome engines but a stock ls with a cam and turbo can reliably make 1200+horsepower a conventional small block won't hold up to that kind of abuse on a completely stock long block.

      @@chasekeske4111 I guess I've never seen Steve Morris build a stock short block LS. I don't care what the engine is that's getting built as long as it's getting modified everyone now days wants the easy route to power they just want to throw a turbo on a junkyard LS and don't take pride in learning about building engine's.

    🤔🤔🤔
    That blower belt bracket prior to the pulley change…..is that your design or ProChargers? I like the “almost” 360 deg belt wrap. My bracket looks like yours after the belt change with just the tensioner.

    Hey Steve can you build a dual blow through carburetor on a tunnel ram and do a comparison vs a single plane like a super victim with a single blow through both on gas, race gas and methanol please? I can't get Richard Holdner to do it.

    awesome looking for all those motor heads drawn in to chasing there tail, Old school iron horse Small blocks are great, I always favored them, but nothing beats a big block when it comes to brut force power. I 'm an old man now, I sit on the side lines. My advise, Keep it simple, don't waste your money, keep to the basic's, way more dependable. keep it close to turn key and you will enjoy it for years,

    Love this Mr.Morris. !! Some questions if you have time...where and what is the hp and torque numbers in the usable street rpm range of say 1800-6200 rpm? And what does one of these units cost.
    I will be using a 700r4 in my short bed 78' 2wd truck...and I have 3.90:1 gears. Stall and cam TBD...and vortex v3-si intercooler I plan for only 6-7 psi tbh.. and I have it already as well. I don't 1000hp. Lol

      You won't be using a 700r4 in anything with 1000hp!!!
      Go to an 80e and quick 4 controller at a minimum.
