And some appreciation words from me to Mr Eastham. Many times he said how Mikautadze is good playing for Metz and I follow it, made some prop shot-on-goal best on this guy and they all went in :)))) Simply outstanding observation.

Bologna players are underrated by many in some national teams. Calafiori, Ndoye, Aebischer, Posch, Zirkzee and Lucumi in Copa A. There's some real talents there, many people who don't follow serie A that closely may have missed until now.

    I trust:
    1) Portugal - despite that 0-2 by Portugal B+CR7 to fabulous Georgia I believe Slovenia is simply two levels below. That would be a true shock to me if fully fledged Portugal with CR7 angry and hungry for goals and win surrenders here.
    2) Spain - IMO top candidate to win EC after group stage. Its a pitty they play against Georgia with Mikautadze and Kvaraskhelia, I'd like to see Georigia in 1/8 :)
    3) England - well, you can't have four shitty performances ina a row with that loadout of Premier League/Real Madrid stars ... can you ? ;) Slovakia like Slovenia should be rated two tiers below.
    I don't trust:
    1) Germany - easy group with trash Scotland and Hungary, yet they looked completely stucked against Swiss outfit. Played slow, without any convincing plan, Wirtz is lost as fuck on this tournament, idk - Denmark is a tought nut, nothing suprises me here, OT/penalties including.
    2) France/Belgium - probably two most dissapointing teams after froup stage. I couldn't believe how shitty France was against Poland, save from Mbabppe who did 80% of their upfront job. Like England they played their games for no reason on handbrake pace, but save from Kilian they seem like don't have that much individual quality on this tournament. Belgium - Lukaku, MVP of VAR, DeBruyne wortking hard and that's it. This could be a strange game like another boring 0-0 or some wild shoutout as like England they must start to launch fireworks someday.
    3) Netherlands - a narrowly grinded 2-1 vs Poland, lost 2-3 to Austria, I cant put anything on them, even against Rumania.
Swiss/Italy, Austria/Turkey - too close to call for me. Italy/Austria double pays 5:1 and is a logical choice but it can end in draws/OT/penalty also.

You're a brave man trusting England... Slovakia will set up just like England's three group opponents... You could be correct re: Germany.... Spain are interesting... have a look at the player of the tournament markets.... not one Spanish player shorter than 20/1 at the moment... but if they win it?????

Slovakia wont park the buss, rather they'll attack by defending with a high press. If they get a goal, England are in big trouble. Otoh if Slovakia waste their legs without nothing to show for, England should pick them off in the second half.

Almost every1 (foolishly) picked one the short priced favorites as their pre tourney outright bets, even without seeing them play first. It happens almost every tourney now that one side of the bracket is considerable weaker.
Pre tourney friendlies are a must watch also. France didn't look anywhere near ready, and neither did England, even if the 3lions managed to luck out a group win, and a dream draw.

    • @jesoccer
      @jesoccer Před 3 dny

It's a good point on the pre-tournament friendlies... although I thought Netherlands looked defensively pretty sound vs Iceland and Canada, and I've found them to be all over the place defensively at the tournament. Maybe I was expecting too much from them at the heart of the defence because of the individual quality they've got

  • @damjanpopic8981

I think there is a big value in England v Slovakia game. I'm expecting knockout phase games to be a bit different then group stage games. Teams like Serbia, Slovenia were satisfied with low scoring type of game, without a lot of chances. As a Serbian, i can tell you we were satisfied with 1 0 lose ( we thought it will help us progress group stages if it comes to goal diff rule 😂😂). I can imagine England to score 1 goal in first half and then at least 1 goal in second half on counter attacks (England is more then capable of doing it with these players) , if not more then one goal. So there is a value in England and over 1.5 goals or even over 2.5 goals. :D

assuming Italy and England meet, England can start packing, can't see them score more than once against them, and will definitely concede one. whether it's 90 minutes or penalties, I trust them to choke it up.
Slovakia didn't park the bus against Belgium as they attacked repeatedly (and should have scored more than a goal) and they won't against England either they don't need to, they have the talent to score at least once.
