The fake nordost sounds good too. The fakes add more depth on soundstage, where the real one sounds fuller and forward on my system. This is for their power cablea
I have a cable that looks almost JUST like that and cost me about $60 including the shipping. Came from ebay and was not represented as anything like a Nordost. It sounds awesome to me.
I mean... Paying $30k for 4 feet of power cable will bite you in the ass, no matter what.

All the musical equipment I have bought in my life doesn't add up the price of one of these cables and I currently have 2 pro audio setups and 1 consumer hifi. (If the price I just Googled is correct).

Mains cables are quite divisive in hifi. I wish there was a theory that explained how they help and/or data to show they do. The very high cost of some does nothing to dispel the confusion and leads many to conclude they are all snake oil.

Makes sense, since I think many factors are probably at work here, and products are developed using a combination of theory and empirical testing. If something works, it works. Theory and proof may or may not follow, but these don’t alter the fact it works. Proof is ultimately in the pudding, which in this case is in perceptible improvement in SQ.
@@Coneman3 It might only "work" in your brain, psychologically. The "difference", if any, might not be measurable and supported by any theory.
Dropping retail on any big dollar equipment is BS, the markup is crazy. Google is your friend, do your research on sellers, talk to them get their name, phone number, location. I use PayPal for protection and eat the fee anytime I have a question, no reason to by new especially with cables.

I've sold my soul to Nordost Corporation. OP has no clue of what he's talking about. Their Valhalla 2 and Odin 2 series are the best price/ratio. The new Gold one is promising but price is too high.
