5:30 The ship losing its load of logs is not an accident. It unloads every shipment this way, by shifting ballast water to one side so that it rotates and discharges it's load. It is not in danger of capsizing or sinking.
Ohhhh. Okay. I've learned something. Thank you!
@@AlexandraVioletta
Still pretty spectacular. It just isn't an accident.
Cheers!
Thanks.Professor.
Also several of these aren’t crashes either but are intentional sinking to make man-made reefs for ocean life. And too these little sailboats flipping over I don’t consider crashes but a normal occurrence for misjudgments in wind direction and speed..
No way...I'm sure it was either a Right-Wing Plot or Aliens...
First video is actually a win. Making new habitat for sea creatures.
Name on boat that hit the ferry is “Nap Time.” Can’t get any more ironic.
Actually the boat @ 6:18 furiously blowing his horn is ironically named "Hornblower"

What about the one named Excellent?
@@andyb.1643 It's done excellent Job... 😴😴😱
1:16 the boat was appropriately named “Nap Time”.
This gives "Asleep at the wheel" a whole new meaning.
That old lady in red at 6:30 has no idea lol
The best is granda in red uniform
All those merchant marine captains thinking: "Sh1t! There goes my licence."
Exactly , how did they get one in the first place . Crap ought to fire them people that hired them amd the ones who have the tests
How drunk do these captains need to be???
I keep thinking the owners of boats, getting hit, are saying, “Honey! Get the insurance guy! That floating money pit is all done!”
🤪
Ok
Making underwater reefs out of old ships structures !!
Yep sink them level so people can also safely scuba dive to them.
5:40 'Excellent'.
Capt. Ron would be proud.
Remember that these Megatrons do not come equipped with " Brake-Pads ".
Hey! You scratched my anchor!
I don't know much about sailboats but once they start tipping over isn't it a good time to let the sail swing to a better position?
....................just an observation from a flooring installer that knows nothing about sailboats.
Yep, less pulleys on the mainsheet allows for spar to swing .
Hah! I was thinking the same thing...just let go of the main sheet!
Thought I was the only floor installer here thinking the same thing.

Can you imagine going into work all covered in casts and braces and you boss asks you what happened
"Well boss, I face planted a bridge.... no sir it didn't jump in front of me after a good stiff drink... I drove my boat right into it, I didn't see it"
You're fired
How many re runs y’all gonna play? Every video the same except you add a lil dingy one man sail boat that blows over? Get real
Whenever I read or hear someone using the term y’all I assume they have the brains of a turnip.
Frosty by name,frosty by nature
I suggest the company who owns the ship that collided with the iceberg may want to require that their captains watch the movie Titanic prior to letting them pilot a ship just so they are aware that icebergs don't just float on the surface, they generally extend way below the surface. 😆
Actually, that ship was an icebreaker. Some of these clips had nothing to do with maritime crashes/accidents.
If the Titanic had hit the iceberg head on like that, rather than sliding along the side , it would probably have survived
The ship tipping over to let the logs slide off isn't an accident. It's how they unload. Ballasting the ship to heel over 'till the load slides off, then a small tug pushes the logs to the nearby mill
Was just going to say that, I used to assist in dumping them at a pulp mill in port Alice BC..
That is awesome.
Oh wow that is pretty rad! I imagine the ship has no crew aboard at that point? If not that's one hell of a ride!
@@daveg-Vancouver_Island I spent a winter in the early 80s doing upgrades to the pulp mill in Port Alice.
Was up there 4 years ago and it sure has changed with the mill being shut down.
Great name btw. Not many would get that.
@@MRREE-zw6xc It is a barge. The only time it is manned is when the cranes are being operated for loading.
The elderly lady in Red at 6:31 had cat-like reflexes moving out of the way. Amazing how she avoided peril!
I'm pretty sure she was operating at top speed plus 10% there...
@@ledsalesoz...which is in total 11% then. Go, granny, go!
Couldn't walk any faster ??
The ship at 6:22 blowing the horn in named Hornblower. What a co-incidence.
Haha exactly what I was thinking... so ironic.
A couple of these clips were purposeful controlled sinkings of old boats/ships, probably to create a reef, and a couple were likely mechanical or electronic system failures, but a whole bunch of the crashes were caused by just plain dumb or pathetically incompetent people.
Some I wondered if weather and rough seas caused it. Not much you can do when the ocean says fuck you.
@@urcookin Virtually all of those harbor collisions are just plain incompetence. Ships can take miles to come to a stop, but their pilots darn well know that.
Stupidity in the 1st degree
That 1st one must've been a sculling for an artificial reef.
The ship called Excellent, did an excellent job......!!!!!!
The boat at about 50 seconds in was intentionally flipping to test a float panel and righting line. It's an MC scow at Mission Bay Yacht Club in San Diego.
Intentionally crashing into two boats as part of a test? I guess that means 2:28 was using that sailboat as a dock cushion.
Run
The crash at 5:42 was Excellent
First Mate: "Captain, you do realize that we're on a collision course with a small iceberg, correct?"
Captain: "He'll get the f**k out the way if he knows what's good for him!"
Apparently he had not heard of the RMS Titanic.
@@carryfreak5059 😱😱😱
And the Captain parked his bottle of scotch before querying, "Damage Report Mr. Smith." And the first mate replied, " nothing that can't be buffed out captain!" And the captain, after one long pull on the bottle retorted, "Very well Mr. Smith...Full speed ahead!"
P
It would be more interesting if there was an explanation for these incidents.
EXACTLY , How'd they even got a license to pilot ???
Yes. I guess some are mechanical failures
I'm with Randy. Don't click bait. Which is going OFF SUBJECT LINE. Other than the log insert. Well done.

At 6:31 can she make it in time?👩🦯
"Is anyone hurt?" is always the second thing you're always supposed to say after "I FUCKIN GOT IT ON CAMERA!"
When 3000 tons says "Missed it by that much" it never turns out good! 😁
Just don't know how these people get a license to pilot a boat . They carnage they cause needlessly . Dam , that's the only word l can think of .
Guy at 2:37 was more interested in getting his mug on camera than the containers about to fall on his head.
Laughing at the small sailboat "fails". It's actually fun to go over in a small sailboat, depending on the hull type; a single occupant can get them right back up on their own. But when those big boats fail, boy, do they fail.
I have flipped hobie cats before and they take like 30 seconds to flip back over
Right, I always assumed it was part of learning to sail a small boat 🤷
I used to be an OOD on an aircraft carrier and the only time I felt only lady luck kept us from a collision the Captain had the conn.
Just copies from older videos. Same old same old.
2:18)I guess that the multi-million dollar price tag did not include brakes, or inertial dampeners(Star Trek).
Sailboats capsize bc the mainsail is hauled in tight. Commercial ships crash usually bc of mechanical failure; either the gears shifter or rudder is broken or jammed.
Don't forget more and more software/IT issues as well.
7:23 trying to get under that bridge was a "challenge".
The Challenge was Not accepted. Challenge was rebuked.
That white ship crashing into the yellow gantry crane was excellent! Lol! 😆😁😄👍✌️👊🇬🇧. Ps that boat hitting the Red opening bridge was a Challenge, lol!
I have boated for 40 years and what some of these people were thinking I have no clue
Ive always been afraid of the ocean boats and ships. Now I know why lol
Reason I refused a Disney Cruise when it was offered to me as one of the options years ago.
6:00 the ship being named excellent is just perfect
0:40 You scratched my anchor!
At 2:05 when the Blue Pacific lost control it was nice that there was a fender there to soften the impact. This proves that blowbotes are good for something after all.

Boat Crash Compilation with romantic Music.....so beautiful 🥲🤧🥰
When the Challenge becomes the Challenged…
😥 What were the first idiots applauding about? A boat sinking, even if intentional, is never grounds for celebration. Show so respect for that vessel's history and service.
It's always satisfying to watch rich people destroy their own toys. Sinking multi-million dollar yachts should be a spectator sport.
True but they seem to crush a lot of other people's dreams a long the way 😞
Most of that was terrifying
It was, maritime disasters always scary, you literally have NO WHERE to run!!! 😱😨😰⛴️🛳🚤⛵️🚢🌊
All PROFESSIONALS?
DO THEY EVEN HAVE ANY LEGITIMATE LICENSES?
The one with the granny barely making it out is the best
Like two ships passing In the night…….Oh Shit!
The Newport beach one was brand new
"Nap Time" ... yeah, pretty much explains that one.
How about Excellent!
the music ruined it cuz I wanted to hear those things smash into things
2:22 you scratched my anchor!
I've seen a bunch of those loading dock collisions during my strange binge-session on this sort of thing lol, and it always amazes me how seemingly little it takes to knock those cranes over like dominos.... obviously I don't have a clue what's really happening or what the power of these collisions truly is, so it's not a criticism. It's just amazing how powerful these big ships and their momentum is.... they can hardly appear to be moving, and still do serious damage!!
0:39 perfect parking
If the Titanic hit the iceberg head on, it probably would have survived.
2:30 So That's where my ali express order went..
I might be wrong but the first one could be a controlled sinking for creating an artificial reef or something.
Hence the yellow marker buoy.
Apparently the coast guard hand out pilot licenses to people in cracker jack boxes.
I was thinking Post-it notes.
"What The Fuck" ? Has to be the best phrase in the human language.
Half of these I just remember that spongebob episode with the flying dutchman. With saying " you're good, you're good." Will the ship is grind up agains the rocks. Lol
1:20 boats name was nap tyme think he was nappin😂😂
2:19 .....hey you scratched my anchor
ATV riders are the only group of people I've ever seen that are denser than boaters. But, it's very close.
1:11 is this in Seattle? And man some of these boats sink so quickly! Being on one of them in the middle of the ocean would be terrifying!
Every sinking shown was intentional. Some ships become diving destinations or artificial reefs at the end of their lives.
Haha. Boat at 1:20 is called Nap Tyme. Classic
No i see why they named that ship hornblower
Yup…another that slammed into the dock is “EXCELLENT”. 😝
Too bad a large portion of this clip had nothing to do with crashes.
4:19 "Iceberg right ahead"!!!!!!!

‘Hey Judge! My dinghy is bigger than your entire boat!” And, of course the classic, ‘you scratched my anchor’ both come to mind when you watch this…. Y’all may be have to be over 40 to catch on to these movie lines so look them up when you get a chance!
Lots of hearts going on in this video 😆
"You scratched my anchor"!.....Al Czervik.
The music brought a nice element to the videos .

0:44 - I told you there was room to moor the boat.

Lol the boat that crashed into the ferry was called nap tyme lol. I guess he was having a nap
The names of some of these vessels are hilarious. Like "Excellent", and "Adventure Horn Blower".
Just earlier, I watched another video and one boat named "Iceberg" dragged the guys truck down the ramp, and into the lake.
Another video was a yacht slamming (docking) into other boats with the name "Blue Magic". I love the irony.
