The Marvel mechs try to look like upscaled versions of the characters. More organic and filled out. Even when that limits posabilty. Almost as if they're not even Mechs, but rather Lego action figures with small heads. I hope you can show us the Thanos Mech with the Thanos BigFig head!!!
The Ninjago Mechs focus more on play. More posable and customizable. And they look more unapologetically like Mech suits.

Ooh, here’s a building challenge for you: create Ninjago mechs in the Marvel mech style. You could base them off your favorite suit line and make them unique from each other like the Marvel ones. Maybe you could even combine features to get the full range of motion?

Ninjago gets mechs, Marvel gets mechs, why doesn't DC have mechs? Lego DC and DC in general is gone. Good lord, please help us.

-Superman Mech;
-Flash Mech(for the upcoming movie);
-Aquaman Mech(for the upcoming movie);
And a Batman mech vs Joker mech battle(to be the Spiderman of the the DC theme).

On the marvel mechs: don't push the ball with bar completely into the foot, thus getting some degree of movement out of them.

Imagine if they did use custom printed parts for each ninja on a mech that could be used to promote the Evo side of it like lore wise the printed peice is what causes the upgrade

I like for the most part the Ninjago ones, but onestly i like how they give us a basically free infinity gauntlet with all the gems inside

I would like to see you modify the Marvel mechs with the positives of the Ninjago mechs
You could use the Thanos and hulk mech for bodies that could be movie accurate

LEGO isn't selling the old marvel mech format anymore.
For my ninjago Mechs I put the printed plates from those spinners with the built spinner blades
They also released a Lloyd evo mech last year I think it was Lego exclusive you had to spend a certain amount on ninjago online
Sure you're not confusing it with the exclusive "mech booklet" thing? Cause I'm pretty sure that was just a mech without evo options
The price difference is because of ninjago doesn't have a license fee lego needs to pay, marvel does because its owned by Disney so the marvel one needs to be more expensive because of that license which there is nothing lego can do about that
I was contemplating on getting this Thanos one cause I really wanted that gauntlet piece with all the stones, but after seeing the vid I gotta say I unironically prefer the previous incarnation. Sure the gauntlet was ginormous and looked a little silly, but it was brick-built so you could actually do stuff with it other than just hold it up in a show-off pose. Plus the mech itself was way more posable, bit sleeker too.
I honestly prefer the Marvel mechs. Although I don’t have any of these though, I just have a couple older Marvel mechs
The old thanos mech is better than the new and golden lloyds mech is soo gooooood because you also get 2 mechs
The new marvel mech format has a lot of potential, the more involved limb builds give each mech a lot more unique character, but the current torso build really lets them down.
The Ninjago mechs are very strong but I feel like if they continue the way they are now for too long they're gonna start to get boring. Their hand builds could use some work too, I don't like when mechs have big weapons that are only held in place by a single clip.
The reason ninjago evo mechs are simple is so they are easy for you to upgrade
i just like the ninjago mechs more. I also love the exclusive golden dojo lloyd in the lloyd mech
Honestly, I don’t like the evo joints for the marvel mechs, the mixel joints did much better, and I made a jay mech using the original thanos mech

Why did you not put ghost rider mech, and Lloyd of mech of last year?
Last year's Lloyd mech is a 4+ set and uses a different system so it wouldn't work in the video
So the ninjago mechs are better than the the marvel mechs but which has the better mech-rider🤔
Probably Kais because it comes with more minifigs

Interesting because the rocket is the only one I picked up from marvel.
'It's a robot with a big saw on it. Zane himself can't do that' 😅😂 I like how your example for why the Ninjago mechs aren't like the marvel ones is incorrect. In tournament for example Zane uses a built-in saw to cut himself out of Chen's chains.
I adopted this style of mech ((More EVO than Marvel) moded the existing ones, made mocs and now I'm at around 24 mechs total. I love this style. But without my mods, even tho I'm a Ninjago fan, Marvel ones do look better. But that's the point I guess, it's a toy, it's LEGO, what comes out of the box doesn't have to be the same as what you end up with.

I hate the new Marvel Mechs
Ok hate is a strong, I really *dislike* the new Marvel Mechs
1. I don't like the use of Evo joints (Just for marvel I don't mind them in Ninjago Mechs) the old marvel mech designs are my favorite, I like that they used more joint pieces
2. I feel like the use of Evo joints just makes them feel like they're just copying the Ninjago Mechs
TL:DR I hate that they used Evo joints for marvel mechs

Ghost rider still beats all the ninjago mechs
The marvel mechs are far better in my opinion for a few reasons. Mainly because they try to look more appealing and every year I feel they improve on their quality. Right now they’re a bit in a grey area though, using the ninjago evo joints was a bold move and their pose ability is more limited, but I feel like eventually that will be sorted out. The fact they all come with unique figures is amazing too, and some of the build techniques are really clever. I can’t excuse $15 for a mech however, that’s just unacceptable. But overall I feel they’re pretty great.

I truthfully despise the new Evo “joint” pieces. Just a year ago a bunch of mechs had finally started using knee joints, and then this stupid piece comes along and ruins it. Probably gonna stop buying the Marvel mechs after this.

Core is just boring. None of the sets are appealing, they just feel like filler (because they are). The mech rider also looks really dumb imo. Marvel is cool tho. Like what you want, I guess.

You know they're supposed to be similar because they're a part of a line of robots right? Also no they aren't recolors, they're very different

@@ThatSmolivGal They're still more homogeneous compared to the marvel mechs. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but if you're looking for a more unique experience from each one, the ninjago mechs we have so far do fall flat in that regard.
@@PlasticToa yeah that's what I mean, they're more a line made to be displayed together, if you get what I mean. And even because of that they're unique from eachother! Example: the big weapon each mech has!
