Gurren Lagann, actually. Though the idea of combining mechs isn’t original to gurren lagann, the designer of this set and wave is a huge fan of the show and has incorporated many design aspects into the set, such as the drills, general torso design, and the ring on the head

@@FeerIsBest Lloyd could have some mechdragon type thing that could provide for some 70676 type wings, Nya I'm not sure about

@@Chokun-Gaming Nya could have something that separates apart to become a few things: a better head, a better sword, maybe an arm shield
I see Lloyd being a dragon that attaches to the back giving the mech wings and cannons from the mouth or tail or both and nyas being like a spider that can fold up into a shield and disconnect to distract or deliver small attacks to disorient the enemy
There would probably be screens in this mech for each of the Ninja to watch the battle they're in so they can all help pilot and fight. I love the separate vehicles that the mech becomes. And I hope Jay, and maybe Nya, use Sand Blue in their suits more. I'm glad I got this set too.
Going to make a Lloyd add on which will be a head, and hydro cannons for Nya

The Wu bots actually appeared in Seaboud as the mines that blew up a pathway. It's the scene where Kalmar later screams which looks weird
For some reason the wu bots are considered characters but in seabound they are used as bombs so why like why was he considered a character in the sets

Guys, this is the first Lego Ninjago mech set I've ever built and holy crap is it good. Better than good, this thing is huge, it's brilliantly designed and just whoa is it darn impressive. Lego Ninjago kicks ass. I got the Ninjago city gardens and that set blew my mind and now this thing! whoever is designing these things bad props to you...who knew Lego had the ability to do a power rangers type set that works with the visual impressiveness of The Gundam Wing Mechs. This set retails for like 90 bucks and this is one of the very rare times I will say, that price feels cheap! They didn't have ANYTHING like this when I was a kid in Lego...now that they do...geeze. Kids teens adults, fans of Japanese animation, and Lego collectors can all gain serious investment value from getting this thing....(as in I see the returns on this set outperforming the stock market)

Cole should’ve had a scythe, the other three have their original weapons (kai: katana, Zane: shurikens, jay: nunchucks) but he has a hammer for some reason?
When I first saw the Ninja Ultra fusion Mech I got a Power Rangers vibe from this set and I knew I had to buy it and I’m so very very glad that I bought this set.

I think that the color of the studs in the Wu Bot’s Stud Shooters was used for the Wave Amulet last year.

I was going to get the mech but I was between this mech or the dojo temple I got the dojo temple thanks to his review
I've had this set for about a month now, and am getting the dojo today

I thing I noticed about the mech, it doesn't have any ranged attacks or defensive measures, I could see Lloyd and Nya being the solution, Lloyd could have a car and could connect where Jay would and use shoulder mounted cannons, and Nya could use an arm shield.
For Lloyd, I'm picturing a dragon Mech that would leave its wings and tail visible, donate a set of claws to the drill arms, and transform its head into an oni head to turn the whole thing into a 4 armed oni dragon mech
What I see is nya’s mech being like the water mech in the movie and folding up to become a shield that can detact when need to attack then Lloyd’s being a dragon Mech that comes in and attaches to the shoulders with its tail and mouth being a gun

If you didn’t know, transformers made combiners that multiple transformers combine into. I think that is what Lego based this mech on.

this is basically Ninjago meets Power Rangers meets Gurren Lagann
there are so many mech moc makers out there even some with there own youtube channels that have Lego beat every day of the week, but they never contact said youtubers for advice or for a jobb.
But for a Lego offical set it's okay.
I think its because those moc’s tend to be unstable as hell
@@jimmysta2348 I think it's the other way around most of the time, heck the only Big offical mech I have seen that aint unstable is the monkey king mech and the demon bull king, but every Ninjago mech so far have been unstable specialy in the legs so I have to disagree with you on that, most of the time's the moc's seems to be more stable and secure in there builds then the offical set's.

What a novel idea, multiple vehicles/mechs that join together to become 1 huge mech. This has never been seen before and is truly inspirational
I like the concept but its not rly for ninjago imo, and since its their first product like this its not the best
On a more serious note, the way you built the kai mech gave it 2 right hands lol, its also got very beefy legs but arms as skinny as a minifigure

Sorry to say but the parts randomly falling of from the rest of you mech is just your set as I've had mine for months and it hasn't fallen apart once
Wrong, the cheapest way to get evo Cole is actually from one of the comics.
I love this just wish the rest of the ninja where as well hidden as kai they look really awkward, especially Jay
People call it a Megazord but honestly the components function a lot more like Gridman parts with Kai’s mech as Gridman, only Zane’s piece can’t be added in it’s normal configuration so I connect it to the shoulder pads to convert it into a pair of arms
From the product animation, it kinda looks like the mango whipper vehicle is supposed to be based off of a turtle.
