This made me smile and laugh. David kept singing, Come on get happy to us. I wish he would have made himself happy. He might have lived longer if he had, and so would not have drank so much. This bothers me so much. It was so hard for my husband to be happy. Finally Greg went back to church and forgave his parents. This helped him to release his demons and God healed his mental illness, before he died. David said God bless us, to us fans, at the end of his concerts. I hope he was close to God, and was ready to go, when he died. I hope my husband has met David in Heaven. May they finally be happy and free. Love you guys!

David inherited all of the good qualities and talent of his father Jack Cassidy. Unfortunately David was part (if not the cause) of the teeny-bopper/bubble gum pop and wasn't given the appreciation and accolades he truly deserved. But his music will live on, and that is the greatest compliment any artist can receive.

He was never paid like he should have been, and surrounded himself with the wrong people ….who took advantage of him. He missed out on true love…other than his son Beau. David loved him more than anything. Not sure if his role on the Partridge Family was the best move tor him, but it was the only move. It put him into a pretty boy, 70’s happy musical family. David has admitted the role was nothing like he actually was. He wanted sex, dugs, and rock n roll, but was stuck in the teen idol little girl stigma. . Often wonder what he would had made of his life if not the Partridge Family. There were so many up and coming rock bands at that time. The competition was overpowering. For what its worth…we still love you David, and wish your life was full of happiness and peace, and tranquility. Maybe you have found it on the other side. See you there ♥️♥️♥️
