@@charcoalcoffeecompanyYou could have actually talked about it in this episode, but depending on how crazy you want to get, you could do a separate video for it.
Japanese coffee culture goes far beyond the borders of Japan. In the 1800s Japanese immigrants would make their way to Brazil during its golden age, hoping to get rich and send money back home, but many of them were instead stuck as coffee farmers. Due to discrimination, the Japanese had to set up their own enclaves, where they would teach their kids in Japanese and have Japanese schools set up. As the population of Japanese in Brazil grew they ended up buying more land and more coffee farms, giving them about 20%+ of the coffee market in Brazil. Really fascinating history there if you have time to look into it. Cheers mate

I will look into it. Brazil's coffee industry is so massive, always was that migrants from other countries worked there also, will take some research, but if I can put something together I will. Thank you.

If you want to talk about a country that loves coffee then you were looking at the wrong country you need to do a video on South Korea even up to 5 years ago you couldn’t find a decent coffee cafe in Japan. Korea has invented the. Coffee cafe culture since 20 years ago , Japan and other Asian countries have taken notes and heavily influenced by Korean cafe culture in Korea the have coffee shops literally on every block you definitely didn’t know it started in Korea

Wow, thank you for the input. I'm doing a series of coffee culture around the world; I'll definitely put South Korea on the list.
