- I went to Coney Island, NY and asked random people to sing.
It was here that I met Angela (Angie), Bill, and Ayla. They all felt a little nervous to sing at first. But with a little belief in themselves, they were able to sing their favorite songs in public.
As a musician, I'm all about creating musical experiences that have people feeling happy and free, and that's why the "Sing With Me for Free" series exists. Since 2018, I have asked thousands of random people to sing with me on camera. A lot of people have said no, some have said no initially but changed their minds to yes, and some have said yes right away. I ask these people to sing with one purpose: to create a way for them to experience a sense of happiness and freedom they did not feel before. And much of the time, this actually works (and that makes ME happy).

How can you not know a song, listen to it for a sec, and play it flawless that is krazy man, that is pure talent.
He learns the rhythm and structure by listening to it, then he pulls up the chords in the song and plays along. Reggie is super talented and special and awesome, but lots of musicians can learn songs on the spot like that.
@@Zanthorr I was amazed as well, but I hadn't realized that he was following along with the chords on the screen. That makes sense. Plus he plays behind the singer.

Learning to do that is a learnable skill for those who don't just have it, and even those who do, have to practice. What makes Reginald next level awesome is his ability to connect with people and help them bring out their inner voice and shine along with him. He's got real talent that goes far beyond technical skills. He comprehends the power of human connections by open and friendly communications and supporting every person who is willing to perform live with him. What a gift to humanity that man is and shares.
i am a terrible guitar player havent touched mine in over 7 years but my teacher always said if you can hum it you can play it :D never got to that point tbh i can hum the songs out but i can't seem to transfer to guitar so i gave up

Amazing singer. Much better than those pop stars nowadays which we hear non stop on radio with annoying voices and cheap songs like Miley Cyrus, bunch of X factor finalists etc. Or Madona with her evil symbolics everywhere. 😔 I hope it will change someday.

The first girl, Angela, singed in the musics perfect pitch, it was I was listening to the original version in the Movie. Loved it, just fell in love with the performance.

That first female singer from Spain was phenomenal. This channel brings out some of the best singers you'll ever hear. Many singers on the Voice and AGT come from talent agencies where singers like her who aren't don't stand a chance to win.

I got sick & tired of those singing reality shows ,so heavily produced and manipulated for sure . I definitely prefer these types of scenarios on the street raw and very ordinary people from all walks of life with extraordinary voices , it's spontaneous and feels more wholesome . And you can tell Reggie just wants to put a smile on people's faces, unlike tv where they people in charge are just showing off as top dog ie Simon Cowel for example.

It's through trying to play along with you and the chords you give that I am where I am in guitar playing. Not to slight Angela, who sang like a pro, but I love the way Bill sings with such freedom and soul. And what a brilliant sunset in the background! And Ayla has a beautiful voice that got even better once she relaxed and got into it. This just shows what Reggie does is so powerful.

@E. Buggie: I definitely have to applaud Reggie too. He handled the two special needs girl well...and their dad too! Reggie was probably the only Boardwalk attraction that incorporated them into his act.
He even had to tell them to return the instruments back and the father said " they turn them back" 😅😭😅
