She has a lovely voice! I just wish she hadn’t said bennnnnd and friennnnnd, instead of holding the vowel until the end of the syllable, which is the correct way to sing it when you’re holding a note.

I love the song Moon River and I especially liked how she held the N in "bend" and "friend" rather and the E. I've never heard it performed that way. That was a good choice and she has a wonderful voice.
That first gal is amazing, she did it perfect in every way. And the second one knocked it out of the park too, both great singers
This made me tear up. Beautiful singing. Moon River was my parent's prom song. They were high school sweethearts who are headed toward 60 years of marriage. We had a music box that played this and my mom would sing it. I always hoped that I, like them, would find a love early and have adventures and a family and grow old together. I did marry my high school sweetheart, but we lasted only a few short years. And at 25, after our divorce, I used to watch the Sandra Bullock and Harry Conick Jr movie about a divorcee finding love again that featured Make You Feel My Love and hope that I'd find love when my heart healed. I've never found the love of my life, but hearing these two songs again now at 50 reminds me of that youthful hope and reignites the dream of a love to adventure with.
Taylor made me cry. And I never cry. Something about the sweet tone of her voice and her heart. I pray that she finds the confidence to sing for people again because she certainly blessed me.❤

The second one sang at a volume she is comfortable at and that makes a world of difference. Though you can hear her nerves the fact she didnt shout the song out gives her a presence. First girl was pitch perfect and she did very well switching registers. both were wonderful to hear.

From the moment she started singing my eyes filled with tears and before long i was crying, and I dont know why! I wasnt feeling emotional at all. It was just the excellence and beauty of her voice struck a chord deep inside me! Never had that happen before.

Moon River brings back memories of my first "young love" around 1967. My girlfriend and I danced to the song at a gathering at her parents home. After all these years she still has the "love letters/notes" I had written her.
We're still in touch from time to time also.

Moonriver was my Mothers favorite song. Her favorite version was Aurdry Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I think I here the Andy William’s version most often.

I really love seeing South Africans all over the world. I study Mandarin and frequently watch Chinese CZcams and was amazed how many South African people study, live and work in China. What's even more amazing is when they sing famous Chinese song perfectly. Music brings us together.
