    I think a dominant run has to involve breaking tackles, bouncing off defenders etc, NOT just a super-fast RB sporting a hole and racing 60 yards untouched. Jim Brown, Sayers, Earl Campbell, Barry, Beast Mode type runs.

    To watch Dorsett in a game situations. Just his 7 and 11 yard routine gains are anything but routine. The way he glides and shifts and stays low to the ground with shifty eye-catching accelerations as he weaves thru the line and LBs. When you see him negotiate and burst with sliding cuts to manipulate the guy ahead ...its just amazing and you realize it's the type of runner and style you haven't seen before or since . TD was special and deservedly a first ballot HOF.

      Yo Grandad he would’ve been better than Barry too tf. There was literally a 0% chance of catching Bo from behind. Barry has speed but he got caught a few times and was never the fastest RB. So that means he’s stoppable. His agility was inhuman and so was Bo Jackson’s speed and power.

    All of these runs impresses me because the fact of the matter is all defensive players are gunning & want to hit you so bad that a chance of being injured is so high...also, in some cases career ending...all of us that watch the NFL just sit back & admire present & future RBs every Sunday.

      James Malaugh that would probably be Jamal Charles if I’m not mistaken. CJ ran something like 10.3 and Charles ran 10.13. Although I’m sure there was one faster than him.

      Nathan Steeds you see, 40 is acceleration since you don’t reach top speed later. So Jamal Charles is the fastest at 10.13. There may be a faster guy but until I find it, Charles is the fastest

      It's not about if AP still has it or not. It is all about scheme and how important that part of then game is today. If AP gets in the game, it is a designed rush for him, and often needed a few rush attempts to get going and break one open. He has never been a blocker, never been a pass catcher. Just no way to make a 1 dimensional 32 year old rb very helpful in today's game. What a force is his prime though.

    Love Bo, Brown, Payton, Sanders, etc. but it was just something about Gale Sayers and football that made a violent sport beautiful and it just became grace and straight embarrassment if you were the other team. The other guys I named could do it to but I just have always taken a liking to Gale.
