Street Fighter 6 season 1 has come to a close and now its time to take shot at who has a chance at making it into the roster! Summer Games Fest 2024 will have some kind of showcase soon and what that entails...well that remains to be seen!

I mean, regarding Rose coming back, she could be like F.A.N.G, where she's just a side character in World Tour with Menat being the playable character you interact with.
They need to add oro as an npc to just chill with while he’s like retired

I couldn't agree more lol! I'm glad she wasn't playable in SFV because well...SFV lol.
At least she made the cut for Marvel vs Capcom 3.
The director said we would be "surprised" at the character selections for the future. Which can be a good or bad thing depending on the player. I just hope we have some diversity in playstyles and more legacy characters in season 2. I'll wait patiently for the return of the third strike cast as I doubt we'll be getting them all at once, if at all.
Yeah what is worrying is that we get more "shoto" style characters and less unique characters imo. Currently we have 4 shotos and I don't think the game would be as entertaining with more of them in it lol but we'll see. The 3S roster imo is always a shoe in tbh because of 3S impact on fans. But as with anything, we'll have to wait and see!
@@ShinKensou My worry is that they may not want to have the 3rd strike cast till they possibly need it later down the road. I imagine they want SF6 to stand on its own and not be so heavily reliant on the appeal of 3rd strike, at least maybe not yet. Who knows, but I'll wait patiently.

Makoto
Eagle for the martial arts crowds
A wildcard would be Ingrid or Rival Schools/VSav character/reference
A playable human Jon/Gallon in SF would be sick. Even Hayato or Batsu.
I like the wildcard characters! I think that'd be really dope if they touched base with those characters and not just a simple skin collab. Good call!

Another shoto? We're getting Sakura and potentially Violent Ken. Sean would be too much, imagine Capcom does add Sean and Gouken on top. We'll call the game shoto fighter 6
@@Miguepolo11 sean is unlikely to come back luke copy many of his attacks, if he is to come he will be very difference in s3. look up sean and luke similarities.

Season 2 DLC will have one of these characters for sure, Sagat, dudley, Makoto and c.Viper. I would love to see Balrog, Hugo, Cody, kazama Akira, urien, menat, Alex.
Unpopular opinion, I think having NEW characters in the upcoming DLC is gonna be better imo.
I mean it is SF6 after all and new characters are definitely coming its just a matter of WHO is coming now. But I'm with you on Rog, I'd like to see his take on Ed's new place in the lore now. Would be VERY interesting!

Season 2 will most likely only have at most five characters added but these are the ones I not only personally would like to see come back but also I think have the best chance to come back
By the way I'm aware that the majority of my character choices are female. But that is mainly because most of the male characters I feel are either too old or for some story reason other than their age keeps them from being in SF6
@@belovedwarrior3192 Honestly its hard to NOT include the waifu's tbh lol. Even I had a hard time with this list of my own. I was like "dang...that's a LOT of waifu's on my list lol!" So trust I feel you 100% lol~
the characters i’d like to see in season 2 are sakura, poison, laura, cody, fei long, and charlie nash.
i know fei long and nash have like zero chance of coming back but still lol.
On this list I agree with Nash as I feel like they did him BOGUS in SFV not going to lie lol. I'd be down to rectify that in 6 100% lol
quite an impressive wishlist, shinkensou. bison has been a good villain, but we need new baddies and some from other capcom fighters and street fighter games besides alpha to make the roster complete and colourful.
Yeah I agree and honestly I think Seth was probably SF's best villian ever written in so many ways. Bison is the OG, Gill to ME is kinda just there (I think it shoulda been Urien as the main villian in the 3 series btw) but Seth takes the cake for me personally.

And recently, I thought--wouldn't it be cool to see Cody, Guy and Haggar all in the same [Street Fighter] game
Good thing is Nakiyama wants to put Cody in as it stands but he didn't make the cut for release so we'll probably see him in one of the later seasons. As for Guy & Haggar we'll see, because I doubt they want too many overlapping characters (aside from shotos I know lol) but I'm looking forward to Maki or Carlos from world tour to make it in personally too!

Sean, Sakura, Fei Long, Gouken, Elena, Dan, Gill, Makoto, Menat, Laura, and Urien, are 10 characters I want to see return the most in sf6, with the addition of Sagat, Balrog, and some new characters

I would be sooo happy if C. Viper, Decapre and Vega got into the game. Probably, they won't be in the same season, but I hope they all get into the game.
I really want Makoto. I played Makoto in Street Fighter 4 Online a lot.
We don’t need any more new characters in the game, they’ve introduced enough. Bring back characters that haven’t been used in long time.
A good healthy balance of both is always good for the game but I feel you fully on characters that haven't had any shine in years 100%.
If they are gonna do a newbie, I would hope they do a member of Neo-Shadaloo, namely the gorilla. We’d finally have a proper Street fighter Monke if he gets in.

Sean has to be one of the characters. It would be a great add to the roster, and great time for him grow
I would like to see female Seth back from V, or maybe even a female Bison for the first time -- since so many of his backup bodies were Dolls. "Psycho Arrow" or "Spiral Psycho" would be cool attacks.
