Browsing through a selection of Spanish lessons and I think yours are really good. I like the format of the presentation simply because you get straight to the top. Examples, translations and a quiz make for an enjoyable presentation. Mucho gracias..

Finally! An easy way to learn these verbs! It’s probably the first time I’ve listened to or read information about SER and ESTAR and have it stick in my brain. I guess that’s best use of the acronyms I’ve seen for such a difficult topic!
I never heard my Spanish teaches using acronyms before. I assume most likely because they are from Spain; they teach Spanish as an English teacher teaches High school 12th English . This really helps I feel I am being taught from the perspective of someone learning Spanish for the first time, instead of native speaker fine tuning grammatical rules.

It's for posessions, definitions 'n descriptions
If you want to tell the time
Using Ser is completely fine
The same goes for dates
And that's the job done!

An easier way to explain it is to translate ESTAR as TO FIND YOURSELF in a state or place.
For example you can find yourself happy, you can find yourself in a country or at home, you can find yourself sick, but you cannot find yourself you or find yourself a doctor (because that changes the meaning of what you're trying to say). If you can replace "BE" with "FIND YOURSELF" and it still means the same thing, then the verb you use is ESTAR. If not, then the verb you use is SER.

I feel sick.
I can “find myself” a doctor. It means I am going to find a doctor for me.
English is funny that way. :-)

In my opinion, the best way to learn is not through acronyms, but by just taking risks and speaking, and if you notice that you made an error, you can prepare for next time.
