Those images, I feel I've seen them. I can't explain it, I can't put my feelings into words, for a long time I wanted to write a weirdcore story, but I don't know where to start
Start it in an abandoned stairway where your character is trying to avert eye contact from the little doors with eyes in their keyholes along the way. Im afraid of the dark and i have a light on in my room, i saw a shadow on my wall that looked like a person and it freaked me out, i knew it was only my dresser and fan but it creeped me out. I noticed the top sort of looked like a spoon so i called him spoonhead, and i told myself he was here to protect me. i felt a lot more comfortable after that and was able to sleep :D

This is amazing, I love the old weirdcore the new stuff is all ocs mushrooms and eyes even though those are only minor parts of the aesthetic. This was the video that got me into weirdcore because it kept showing up on my recommended so I ended up just clicking on it. what really got me into it was the randomness, nostalgia, and trauma. It all felt so relatable, it was just like me, traumatized, nostalgic, and strange

my head has been hurting severely lately, and I don’t know who I am. one day, I wanted to dress a certain way or be a certain person, therefore changing my online appearance. the next, I’m the polar opposite, then changing my online appearance. I’m having an issue where I don’t like my reality and I just want a break from it all, so I can see what you mean by this stuff helping.
sometimes I just want an eye for a head, yk? no features. sometimes I just wanna go to a field of grass where the sun is shining and I can just lay down and take an _actual_ break from everything. these videos are so comforting and I love it. sorry this is so long, just a lot on my mind.

Tales from the Gas station book so much to y'all.
It's not exactly weirdcore or dreamcore per say but the book tells about a gas station cashier named Jack Townsend who has a disease that doesn't let him sleep at all. The gas station he works in is at the edge of a small town and weird things happen there, like garden gnomes that suddenly move around, coworkers disappearing left and right yet nobody seems to care, plants that look exactly like human hands, growing from underground, a psychopath on the loose that sometimes likes tormenting Jack and something evil under the gas station.
The books only get better as you read them and thry have tons of good humor in them
Weirdcore or Dreamcore gives me a sense of comfort and makes me remember some of the dreams I had.
I once had a dream where I was in the early 2000's and had a daughter (I don't have a kid, I'm 14 :p), but for some reason all of the people around us don't have a face, it looked and felt like a blurry picture but it felt so real that I still remember it until now.....the dream ended when my? The wife died.
I also had a weird dream earlier today, I dreamt that I had wings, there were too small for flying though so I couldn't fly. they were a blood red color and for some reason I kept looking at a mirror, I was looking at wings but whenever I try to remember my face it won't show, no matter where I looked I couldn't see my face in any reflection only my wings......the dream ended when I was at a building with a balcony.

Ummmm here’s a weirdcore dream I once had when I was like 6
I was in my old house, with no one else but my grandma. She yells from across the hall, “dinner is ready sweetie :)”. I go to the bathroom to wash my hands and as I grasp the door handle, I look over at grandma and her eyes slowly widened. Confused, I asked “what’s wrong?”. She starts chasing after me. And as I nearly fall down the porch stairs, I pause and see a HUGE spiderweb with eyeballs staring at me at my feet. I then felt chilling arms grab me by my waist and throw me in the web. Unable to move, I see my grandma come out the door and say “it seems an incident has happened here :(“. I start screaming and then she leaps in my face before I wake up, crying. But I was only 6 so I can understand that I was crying.
I had a dream a very long time ago i was sitting on the roof of my house and i was trying to tie my shoes then all of a sudden a flock of sock birds came flying at me yelling "SOCK BIRDS!" over and over again i struggled putting on my shoes but just said fuck it and jumped off the roof and ran to the car but before I could open the door a sock bird grabbed me and flew me away I then woke up
i was 7 when i dreamed this
It was a really big, school I attended, probably private (in the dream i attended some crappy private school irl) and then some girl, bright green hair, purple eyes that cut like spikes, and this black outfit with black gas mask. She had this gun ray thing that turned everyone into this demon monster thing. Just a tall demon with claws and red eyes. I was the only one who didn't get infected and ran through the school in fear. The demons were chasing me, wanting to either kill me or make me one of them. Horrifying. I was crying. Literally. I realized i was dreaming and kind of set things back to normal and did the normal school day I was originally doing, because I was an expert at controlling dreams. Yeah-

Weirdcore/Dreamcore made me dream about an endless dream, and everytime I woke up, I was never actually awake then I pinched myself and woke up, tbh I forgot where it ended. Now I think I'm still in a dream when I wake up from a weird dream and have to slap or pinch myself. Heck when something weird happens I slap myself. Now I always feel uneasy as if something is watching me lmao.

I love Weirdcore/Dreamcore. Weirdly enough it helped with my anxiety a little when i first discovered it. The only thing however, is that it _loves_ to jumpscare people with “that smile”. (Eg. smile dog, that on time in the video, ect)
Now, for most people i assume they would get used to that quicky. Nope. Literally my whole life ive had an unnecessary large reaction to faces like that, especially if they’re “too close”. I remember having nightmares when i was little and waking up, and all it was was that someone walked a little too close to me in my dream and their face was too close.

is this what its like to have a dad that isnt gone all day and is always happy for you and your accomplishments. My dad existed.. just wasn't around very often. He was cool tho :) when mom wasnt looking he would give me another slice of cake. Things as simple as that now mean the world to me.
