I tried to explain it as detailed as I can:
Start with a slipknot and chain 2,
Yarn over, insert hook in first chain and pull up a loop,
Yarn over again, insert hook in same chain and pull up a loop,
Yarn over and pull through all (5) loops on hook.
Remember those 2 chains you made in the beginning? It seems you're going to be working in the most bottom loop of the second beginning chain:
Yarn over, insert hook in this most bottom loop and pull up a loop,
Yarn over, insert hook in that same bottom loop and pull up a loop,
Yarn over and pull through all (5) loops on hook.
After these steps you'll notice two horizontal lines (loops) in the front of your work. You'll be working in these loops from here on:
Yarn over, insert hook in 2 horizontal loops and pull up a loop,
Yarn over, insert hook in those same loops and pull up a loop,
Yarn over and pull through all (5) loops on hook.
Repeat these 3 steps above (working in the horizontal loops) until your cord measures your desired length.
    Hope this helps 🙌

I was looking for a cord design that is both stylish and sturdy and I found your video. Thank you very much for this original design. The beginning was a bit tricky, but once I got it, the final result is just awesome. Thanks a lot

Thank you! This will make a lovely cord for a necklace I am making from JT House Crochet"s "Glory of Ukraine" flower.

Same. I can't read patterns yet and with no instruction this is absolutely useless to me :( All the good stuff on here is like this it seems. Not sure why there's a tutorial for people who have to already know everything soooo no need for a tutorial? Weird.

@@kellysnider5138 I tried to explain it in my comment above, maybe it's more clear now?

Crocheting almost 5yrs- am perplexed- I think it’s maybe because there’s no pause and lifting of the left hand thumb to see the work progressing to catch the rhythm of the stitching- looks good tho but I made a brussel sprout instead 😂🧡🌈

This is not beginner. This is also useless with no words.
