Bought the mount, Phone case(s23 ultra) and a couple other like gadgets from peak design. Had them around 2(ish) years now. The case is still in perfect shape, never had the phone detach from the mount for any reason, camera on phone stabilizer had had no effect(stabilizer on phone can get damaged from vibration from the motorcycle, mount has a dampener built in). It's stupid easy to use as it has magnets built into the case for alignment (works with magsafe too). Main negative I have with the case, and this only applies to the s20* series of phones, you gotta remove the case to use your stylus as the magnets mess with the tracking. I can help with questions if anyone is curious about long term use.
What mount did you end up with? The stem mount seems the most secure and astetically pleasing, but the bar mount with the clamp seems more versatile. The 1" ball version seems interesting as well but to me it seemed a little bit too easy to remove and steal
@@CycloneTurbine2000had a ram mount on my 01 Dyna for like 3 years loads of vibration never damaged my phone camera, the mount has secondary rubber to hold the phone in place as well, even went down with my phone on the mount and didn’t move a cm. To each their own but ram mounts for the price aren’t horrible imo.
I just love quadlock and being an engineer and owning waaaaaaay to many damn 3d printers and 2 CNCs a making my little bits and pieces for my quadlock case is just amazing! I made a a mount to hold my ipad when in the bath so I can watch movies, drink a beer and take a bath all at the same time! Their cases are pretty rugged to! My phone went through hell and survived pretty insane drops on the concrete floor of the shop and my phone is still intact! Peak desings are like the Cadillacs of mounts and storage for camera gear! They’re all I use for my camera gear since their capture clip is the only clio that can keep my 1DXmkiii in place without slipping on my bag’s strap or unclipping while walking/climbing.
Have quad lock on 3 bikes for a couple years with no dampener and no problems. SP connect definitely ruined a phone without a dampener though. Don’t really see any issues with the quad lock.

Had no idea PD made this. We have some bags from them and are obsessed with the design and build quality, so have no doubt this will be great. That said… I have had Quad Lock for bikes, cars, desk, and motorcycles, and have had zero complaints. QL is great too. In short: can’t go wrong with either choice.
So far, I love peak design. Im not using their case, I bought the attachment mod and put it on an otterbox so I know for a fact that the case holds up.
Peak designs are pricey but they have very high quality and well designed products. You should also check out their backpacks...altho not sure if they have one for riding...
so it is great but the problem is if you change your phone again you have to get a new case for it. we need the adaptor strap and another adaptor which is reusable multiple times for different cases
Mine arrived And the only criticism I have is the lip on the case is too low Its neigh on flush with the screen meaning there is no drop protection The mount on the other hand is phenomenal 👍👍👍
Quadlock is garbage. I had the vibration dampener and it destroyed my camera in my $1,500 phone. And because I am a firefighter who needs their camera for rescues/evidence... Well. Not great. Quadlock refused to give me any support. Their warranty was useless.
