I just love Anna and Ryan's sibling chemistry. They even look alike. I loved Sookie and Jason's relationship.
i find it facinating now Anna's accent comes and goes during certain interviews. probably from having to do the southern accent all the time

Personally, I think it got really bad, almost unwatchable, in season 4 & 5 and then the storyline went back to where it should be in season 6 & 7, minus the Eric & Sookie relationship we so desperately wanted

I started watching True Blood six days ago and today a finished it and the finale was so emotional that I could'nt stop crying. Such a magnificent show.

It’s been amazing watching Anna Paquin grow up on screen. I think the first time I saw her was in Fly Away Home and she was just this force to be reckoned with. Amazing actress! I love her as Sookie! ❤️❤️❤️
That was the first movie I’ve seen of her too. That’s where I keep a fan of her. I think I may. I know she did movies before that one but I think that was her biggest movie on her own. I think I’m not sure.

@@lavenderraine773 Anna always looks so pissed off. it was a real let down for me to see how she is in real life. I loved the show so much then I saw her crappy attitude in some of these interviews. it changed how I looked at the show in a way. I wanted to believe that Anna was just as nice as Sookie was on the show. These interviews totally burst my bubble. Now I wish I had never even watched them. At least Stephen truly seems to be a good person. I think he is SO HOT.
I just don't think they wanted to break from their roles on the show cause that's what they were there to discuss,if they went into hubby wife mode it would have been odd too.
It’s just weird actor shenanigans they’re doing to play to/with the audience. But yeah I get what you mean, before Paquin and Moyer started playing it up there was kind of a shock throughout the room.

I think, ultimately, True Blood was done in by the fact that Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin fell in love and got married. It undermined the core of the show. In the books, once Sookie is left brokenhearted by Bill (and finds out all the things he did to her on behalf of the queen) she never can allow herself to trust him again. As much as she does not stop caring about Bill, they are never together again. She goes out and dates other people and finds other loves (including Eric). Her relationship with Eric even ends up becoming bigger and more complex than the one she had with Bill because she's more mature and Eric is much more honest with her. But Alan Ball's inability to separate Bill and Sookie from Stephen and Anna meant that he never let Sookie the character explore life as she does in the books. As such, the character of Sookie in the show is always hung up on Bill--even when there is no reason in the world she ever logically would be. This means she never trusts Eric or allows him in--even when she should. This means basically everything Season 4 and on just goes to crap.
Bettie Williams yes to everything. But I DO believe she would be hung up on him. You never really get over your first love. No matter how it ended up.
I have never read the book(s). Sadly, never knew there was a book or books. Actually just came upon the t.v series by accident when it was well into the 4th season and got hooked. Because of your comment I now want to read the book(s)!
Chrissy Taylor omg! You so should. They are better than the show imo. I have them all and read them before the show came out. You will see the show in a different light (pun intended) after reading them.
When people say they don’t like Eric losing his memory don’t realize that IS Eric. He is the most loyal person on the show but has learned not to “show weakness” because then they can be used against him. So he pretends not to care when in reality he does.
Bill on the other hand is the opposite. He pretends to care and sympathize with humans but in reality he only cares about himself and is power hungry and dangerously ambitious.

I feel like season 1-4 was set up so that the viewers would root for Eric and Sookie and there were just so many moments where they shared a genuine connection and so much chemistry. And it basically just disappears in S5-S7 like in the later seasons we barely have one Eric and Sookie scene. It's ridiculous tbh.

Just finished binge watching and could have done without the final season. Its basically a soap opera with vampires etc. The best characters were the supporting characters. They tended to give the show what little depth it had.

I've watched her on many interviews, and on walks with stephan, and there is just something about her ..like she comes off fake, like shebis just being nice for the cameras, and she is usually uncomfortable. .i cant quite figure it out

Also, why are some interviews done with a strong accent and others a normal accent?! This is why she comes off as fake I think. I still like her though. Anyway, I'm behind and just finished Season 6 and taking a break by watching interviews before starting Season 7.
Remember though wasnt this around the time she had the babies. (I think she had twins.) And she never really was the best in interviews. She doesnt seem comfortable.

Its so weird how Anna hides her face when Stephen says Sookie, i couldn't tell if she was turned on by it or pissed. And then the both look upset about the soulmate comment. Its mot a secret but they're acting like Alan just exposed all their secrets to the entire world. What is up with the weird energy between Anna and Stephen? Anna looks very uncomfortable and tense. She does seem very closed off . I seen another panel with her and an interviewer ask her a question and she says "someone else answer some questions" in a rude condescending way.

It would have helped the show immeasurably if Stephen had bowed out once he and Anna got married. Mostly due to the fact that AB couldn't see beyond their marriage and I think there were rumours that Anna also pushed hard for Sookie to end up with Bill. This whole schtick that the characters were "soulmates" because of the offscreen relationship is so bizarre. It's a show about vampires. Let's separate fact from fiction and let the actual storylines breathe. Not to mention, SM and AP had zero chemistry onscreen lol. In short, Eric and Sookie were robbed.
