@Terry Martin Unfortunately for you, there is a comment recounting a news report from the time that confirms the sheep died on the rocks below the edge.
I had a friend in college whose family were shepherds. He told me that every year they'd have at least one of their sheep die from stupidity. One choked to death in the top wire of the fence, apparently trying to get at the grass on the other side. There was a lower wire with plenty of space for a sheep to fit its head through, but this one decided to rear up on its hind legs and strangle itself to death. Another sheep somehow drowned itself in 1' of standing water after a heavy rain. The soil was soggy, but not nearly muddy enough for the animal to become entrapped. The real winner of the Darwin Olympics, however, went to a sheep that, for no reason, leapt up and smashed its skull in on a concrete walkway that covered the chute leading out to their pasture. Its body fell and blocked most of the chute which caused a pileup of sheep behind it. Other sheep tried to move past the dead one, but got stuck and started wildly flailing about while the other sheep continued to press forward. Before my friend could get to the sheep, it had fractured one its legs and broke a rib resulting in them having to put the poor animal down.
When the Bible was written with "The Good Shepherd" in mind, it was written while knowing how stupid sheep can be on a _daily basis._ I read that sheep often will like to lay down in little depressions in the ground; sounds OK so far, right? Wait until they topple belly up and cannot right themselves. They're not only sitting ducks for predators at this point, gasses will build up in them until they die.
Animal killed by impact don't taste very good, the blood cuagulate causing to rotten the flesh more quickly and have a weird taste. That's why animals blood is drained in the slaughter house.
Megan Melrose good, couldn't sleep, everytime I'd start to close my eyes all I could dream about was counting sheep jumping off a cliff.... 1 splat 2 bounce splat 3 bounce bounce splat.....
degree7 it's so cringy how wrong you are. Intelligence is determined by genetics, a creature with low intelligence is more likely to do something stupid like these sheep did which result in them dying and not passing on their genetic material. Natural selection

Patrick no shit sherlock, its called sarcasm
Your obviously not a farmer
Lol
At least you won't have to sheer them
Looks like a big drop off at the end, is it a cliff side or something like a 10-20ft drop?
2nd sheep is probabaly okay, looks like he knew where he was leaping towards. First sheep though, we really need a follow up video with the guy peeking over to see what happened!
@Terry Martin Really?
@Terry Martin Unfortunately for you, there is a comment recounting a news report from the time that confirms the sheep died on the rocks below the edge.
@@chaotixthefox it did not die. If you put the video in slow motion u can CLEARLY see the first sheep run off after it fell
Those sheep thought they were mountain goats....
it started off with a pigeon getting hit by a train.. then a deer, now im here.
Same
If only Bryn had shouted louder, I'm sure that first sheep would still be here today. Good effort though Bryn, dam good effort
Valley: Vast green with a brook.
Sheep: Wants the patch on the cliff side.
Ajit kumar This put a _smile_ on your face? Ohhhh fuckin kay...?
G Nickson,
He dates goats.🤔
Sound like humans at NYC
When the Bible was written with "The Good Shepherd" in mind, it was written while knowing how stupid sheep can be on a _daily basis._ I read that sheep often will like to lay down in little depressions in the ground; sounds OK so far, right? Wait until they topple belly up and cannot right themselves. They're not only sitting ducks for predators at this point, gasses will build up in them until they die.
@Ajit kumar wild goats are very fast also they can climb mountains and they have long horns which can easily kill a animal as they are very sharp
From Capra Ibex's climbing skills on steep mountains to common sheep slipping down the terrain, my CZcams search taking me everywhere.
Well this video just FELL into my suggestions 13 years later
I can't tell how far the other one fell is it or was it dead? Some animals have amazing resiliency
at first I was wondering what the big deal was. then I realized that that rock ended in a cliff.
*Rest In Peace Shaun*
lmfao
A L Shaun the sheep
Was there a massive drop at the end or just a small one, did the mother survive
And that was the story of the sheep who wanted to be a lemming...
"Nothing we can do."
"Except film."
Matt J.B. Oh the fucking logic risk your own life.Really
Nothing you can do..except watch this video
Matt J.B. Who cares about one sheep?
a Good Shepherd does
Matt J.B. Well didnt look like that shepherd went to go help
The cameraman ate good that night.
ron m Good? Was that the name of the sheep?
Animal killed by impact don't taste very good, the blood cuagulate causing to rotten the flesh more quickly and have a weird taste. That's why animals blood is drained in the slaughter house.
Yes I ordered the broken leg of lamb.
MUTTON is why *HEINZ KETCHUP was INVENTED!!!!!*
@@goa141no6 , I thought that the sheep survived their fall
Here mr video poster, how big is the drop off the cliff? Thanks.
Dang the young lamb knew to stay on the grass even!😂😂😂
Silence of the Lambs
LOL
Underrated comment 😂
Well, this situation went *_Down Hill_* pretty fast!

Nice one 😂

Have a nice TRIP cu during the FALL
Meanwhile down the mountain: it's raining sheep, it's raining SHEEP
Sheep, "The television said there's good eatin' on that slope up there. I'm not gonna question it..."
why did I click on this?
I'm just going to pretend they both landed on a tuffet and are happily eating curds and whey....
Christopher Leveck they didn't die.. I'm sure that's one of many falls to come
Megan Melrose good, couldn't sleep, everytime I'd start to close my eyes all I could dream about was counting sheep jumping off a cliff....
1 splat
2 bounce splat
3 bounce bounce splat.....
Megan Melrose
They not, first one probably broke her legs and now as u can hear her ,she is in pain and i would kill her btw.
+MrSisterfister100 how do you know how far it fell?
Natural selection
Tristan Crumpler you killed me...😂😭🔫
degree7 the stupid ones die, the smart ones survivs
degree7 erm...yes it is
degree7 it's so cringy how wrong you are. Intelligence is determined by genetics, a creature with low intelligence is more likely to do something stupid like these sheep did which result in them dying and not passing on their genetic material. Natural selection
degree7 You're stuck on some weird detail that's keeping you from grasping this basic concept. I've seen this before, not wasting any more time, believe whatever you want.
Looks suspiciously like the Idwal Slabs in North Wales which is rated as a climb just above a scramble, if my memory serves me correct. It is the climbs above the Idwal Slabs which are rated the more difficult.
