    Have you customized your ride modes?

      Thank you for the video !
      I customised the ride modes immediately upon delivery of my 2023 V4S.
      I find the Auto Preload feature makes the bike quite stiff. I keep the Preload at 10 in Sport mode and 8 in Touring.
      Front suspension is medium and rear on soft.
      Look forward to your update on the full exhaust system and the actual benefits it brings versus the cost.
      Keep the great content flowing.
      Cheers

    Thank you for producing this video. I recently got a Rally and haven't really spent the time working out the user interface and settings and this video has been invaluable. Many thanks.

    Thanks for the video! It's nice you are able to speak with the Tech guy at Ducati NA. I'm considering a new 2023 or used 2022 Ducati V4S and wanted to know if there is any changes and or updates that would make me go for the 2023. I was wondering if you of the Tech guy had any insight.

      The 2022 is still getting regular updates, to my knowledge there are no hardware changes on the 2023. Unless you are looking at the V4 Rally variant, go for the better deal.

    Nice vid. Did the Ducati guy say what modes the Rally version will have?

      Not yet, but I will be sure to find out when I speak to him again

    Do you know what the Numbers represent in the Preload settings ? what preload # for weight amount ?

    • @4KMotoring
      @4KMotoring  Před 11 měsíci

      I'm not sure if there was a direct correlation number, but I would recommend sag testing to figure out which preload setting is best for you. I typically leave mine on auto

      @@4KMotoring Auto is my default for now. After watching your video, I looked in the owners manual and it did not correspond to any weight, just travel. So as you said, Sag testing would be the procedure. Copy of what manual said on page 263. " The preload actuator specific range is 12 mm, the instrument panel allows setting preload value among 24 positions; a preload change of 0.5 mm corresponds to each position and allows any rider to find the optimal setting for each load condition."
