Itzhak Perlman- violin, Janet Guggenheim- piano, perform "Syncopation" by Fritz Kreisler, and "Introduction and Tarantella" by Pablo de Sarasate. Recorded on August 13, 1985.
at 5:54 he somehow lost control of the bow and ended up on the other side of the bridge. kind of amazing for someone with one of the best bow arms in the business. Sometimes i get the impression that he didn't prepare especially well for some of these Carson or other TV appearances.
Hmm. I'm surprised. Not a very good performance for Perlman (and I'm not just talking about 5:54). Oh well, I've seen him do this song perfectly. I suppose he can't be at his best 100% of the time.
I love how Perlman is always chill when he plays. What a boss.
NO WAAAY!! His bow just flipped over the bridge for a split second at 5:54....He IS human after all. That's reassuring :)

I'm glad to give your first like after 11 years 😄.
@Mecinimi why don't you post a video with you playing it??
Also waiting for it
lol. The first song in Canada is a level 7 piece and I am struggling with the rhythm.
... that's why Kreisler named the piece with a specific form of rhythm 😂😂
you look at a mistake and can not hear everything he does before and after!
