@bulkdive i am equally frustrated. for over 15 years i waited for them to get some recognition - if anything, so theyd be rewarded w/ lucre for their kids' futures. "the eternal" is incredible. i only got it a month ago at the end of 2011. (released 2008). i think that was their last studio album to date.
the style reminds me joy division, its not clearly the same of course but has some common senses... anyway good shit for night skating when u ride streets where are no cars and there is only you skateboard and street lights.... amazing.

You've probably heard these, but just in case. Smashing Pumpkins were popular. Songs: "Bullet with Butterfly Wings, Zero" Those are heavy. They have many other good songs. Start with debut album Gish, it's very good. Then on to the rest of their albums. Jane's Addiction is a very good band. Everybody has heard of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, but you may not have heard one of their earlier albums, Mother's Milk is great and has some fast heavy songs. That one and Blood Sugar Sex Magik are my favorite albums that I've heard. I haven't listened to their first three albums yet, but they were pioneers fusing rap, rock, punk, funk. Jimi Hendrix turned feedback into an artform and influenced so many, including Sonic Youth. He was the greatest guitar player ever. Songs: "Voodoo Child (slight return), Machine Gun, Hear My Train A Comin', Are You Experienced, Love Or Confusion, All Along The Watchtower, Star Spangled Banner (at Woodstock)" I have Live at Monterey on VHS, there might be a dvd, awesome concert featuring Hendrix. They recorded several of his concerts so there's different live versions of many of his songs. All of these artists are very popular, but you may not have heard some of these songs. The Smashing Pumpkins songs I listed have a similar sound to Titanium Expose. The rest aren't similar, but they're very good.
I feel like this song is criminally underrated. This is such a perfect closing song for Goo!
