Besides The normal , Gretsch kit sounding amazing , You have one of the Top drummers Mr. Ash soan , In my opinion he is the king of the shuffle , his beautiful style of playing , You now know why he is a go to session drummer , he's played with all the greats and still gets the calls , Thank you Gretsch for sharing this video , I'm a vintage Ludwig man myself , but .. i have my eye on a Gretsch kit . . . great sound, great kit, great drummer. i just recently knew about Mr. Soan and i immediately loved his style. his style is more applicable to my music styles and his playing is just soooooo inthe pocket. i wish i could tune my Catalina Maple kit the way he did. Still working on the tuning but ilove my kit too. thanks Gretsch and thank you Mr. soan for being a great inspiration.
Oh my goodness, the sound is so very perfectly appealing to me..... I am currently struggling between the Gretsch Broadkaster and the Sonor Vintage. I wish the vintage pearl wrap from Sonor was available for the Broadkaster, and maybe then, I could make up my mind. Due to my age and health, I'm getting close to that thinking of, perhaps this will be my last kit, and not to sound like Peter Erskine, but I too find myself in a similar situation, but I am not a pro...... Oh these sound so beautiful.... Blessings!!!
EVERYBODY wants a broadkaster. i wanted since I first laid eyes on it and every Gretsch drummer wants it. I have a Catalina but I NEED a broadkaster and a Truth kit and I'm happy..... maybe a DW... maybe.

I’ve had a Stop Sign 70’s USA Custom Gretsch before loved it. Really would love to own one of these. Especially because of the mufflers and hoops.
