As a holy priest main, this was fun to watch!!
Good fun video. You always want to cast PoM on your tank to start the jumps unless someone is taking direct damage.
These series really make my day buddy! Pug life all the way! The way you alternate between frames and plates really stresses me! You wanna keep this rolling, have Vuhdo add on with targets enabled :) Life saver. Maybe keep party frames at the left side of your screen too. Less mouse movement, more visibility. Good luck out there!

Great stuff! I see a lot of healers have the party frames just to the left of their character. Less mouse movement perhaps? Such a pain when you adjust your UI then forget to check timers and end up with mad overlap lol been there!

FYI mouseover spells is now an option in game, so no need to make a ton of mouseover macros anymore

Also I think you only lost Chromie at the end there because you had 3 people alive, so she took more damage from the soak. Normally you don't need to heal her at all but you could've GS'd her I think and it'd be okay?
yeah it was because of the lacking players, GS woulda saved if i knew my spec LOL
Might want to consider checking out Clique for healing. It is a really simple way to bind actions to clicks and key presses directly on the unitframes.
Personally I find it easier to simply mouse click with modifiers on people to heal, and it frees up the action bars to be dedicated to other things.
You can do the same with macros ofc, Clique is just a lot simpler/faster/cleaner to set up.
I also find it to be "safer" than mouseover, cause I sometimes experienced that I would slightly miss the frame with mouseover in a stressing situation, and then it defaults to casting on yourself. With Clique that can't happen.
Personal preference and all that ofc, just a tip.
If you look closely he is using mouseover macros.
@@Laptican I know, which is why I suggested Clique as I personally found that to be better having done the same in the past.
Imagine getting that upset that you leave a +11 that can be completed with like 2 people... loving the new content vesp, giving me some motivation to give healing a crack for the first time ever!

actually, for a first M+ as a holy priest you're doing great. POM on CD is a good thing to do. You should use serenity more often and, as much as possible, cast flash heal when it procs instant and free. Personally, I prefer using halo over divine star but it's probably because I suck at aiming it :D (halo does not hit targets that are not in combat you don't need to worry about that)

Hard casting renew is bad gcd and mana management. If your build is right you should be generating a lot of renews from your other spells

Yes you could have healed the mage more but mage is one of the sturdiest classes out there? Like 8 minor & major defensives? Solid 4-6 of no healing he says? Pop greater invis there’s 3 secs of 40% dr, or pop ice cold? 70% dr and a 80% heal? Mirror image.. 10 or 20% rolling dr. Alter time fair enough can be the trickier one to use if you’re not prepared for it, pop a health pot?
People are far too quick to judge others gameplay and not their own. Man lost his shit over a +11.
It would be great, as I assume you’re going to get a lot of healing requests, to get something like omnicd and take like a quazi profile (or even set your own up), to track others major cd’s so that you’re not overlapping them with your big save buttons

Your talents aren't all correct. So you want the talent that applies renews to people when use holy words and then the talent that increases your healing done to targets by 6% if they have renew.
You also want the Trail of Light talent, that's basically how you AoE heal outside of Holy Word Sanctify.
Prayer of Mending jumps and you have a talent that allows it to split, which is why you'll have multiple out.
Holy Nova lights up because you picked the talent on the class tree that means the longer you don't press it, for about 20 seconds, you gain a stack per second that increases its healing and dmg.
You should be pressing Flash Heal a lot, unless someone isn't at risk, then you press Heal.
Holy Priest has a lot of unnecessary buttons but it is the simplest healer, alongside Resto Shaman. I'd say Resto Druid and Disc Priest are the most difficult in pugs.
The reason you wiped on chromie is because you need people to soak and if it's only 3 people you definitely won't make it.
You could also have still timed it with 4mins.
every dps should roll a healer alt and feel the absolute frustration when a dps is derping in keys to elevate their game play

Having a giant DBM bar appear over your unit frames doesn’t help. You couldn’t tell the mage or DH were dying because of it.

It is honestly unfair how you can just pick up any spec and play it to perfection instantly, honestly I've done 2 keys on holy priest so I can safely say that you literally didn't make a single mistake in this video, if anyone says otherwise in the comments then they are just jealous haters so ignore them VesperalTV!!
